- Tento žalm je anonymný. Je v ňom narážka na proroka Jeremiáša (17,5-8) a Ezechiela (47,12). Ako to vystihli sv. Bazil a sv. Hieronym, svojím obsahom je ako stvorený za úvod do celého Žaltára. Ozajstné šťastie človeka spočíva v spojení človeka s Bohom a v zachovávaní Božieho zákona.
