Biblia - Sväté písmo

(VUL - Latinský - Nova Vulgata)

Prís 9, 1-18

1 (VUL) Sapientia aedificavit sibi domum, excidit columnas septem;
1 (UKJV) Wisdom has built her house, she has hewn out her seven pillars:

2 (VUL) immolavit victimas suas, miscuit vinum et proposuit mensam suam.
2 (UKJV) "She has killed her beasts; she has mingled her wine; she has also furnished her table. "

3 (UKJV) She has sent forth her maidens: she cries upon the highest places of the city,

4 (VUL) “ Si quis est parvulus, veniat ad me ”. Et vecordi locuta est:
4 (UKJV) Whoso is simple, let him turn in here: as for him that wants understanding, she says to him,

5 (VUL) “ Venite, comedite panem meum et bibite vinum, quod miscui vobis;
5 (UKJV) Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.

6 (UKJV) "Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. "

7 (VUL) Qui erudit derisorem, ipse iniuriam sibi facit; et, qui arguit impium, sibi maculam generat.
7 (UKJV) He that reproves a scorner gets to himself shame: and he that rebukes a wicked man gets himself a blot.

8 (UKJV) Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate you: rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.

9 (VUL) Da sapienti, et sapientior fiet; doce iustum, et addet doctrinam.
9 (UKJV) Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

10 (UKJV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

11 (VUL) Per me enim multiplicabuntur dies tui, et addentur tibi anni vitae.
11 (UKJV) For by me your days shall be multiplied, and the years of your life shall be increased.

12 (UKJV) If you be wise, you shall be wise for yourself: but if you scorn, you alone shall bear it.

13 (VUL) Mulier stulta est clamosa, fatua et nihil sciens;
13 (UKJV) A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knows nothing.

14 (VUL) sedit in foribus domus suae super sellam in excelsis urbis,
14 (UKJV) For she sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,

15 (UKJV) To call passengers who go right on their ways:

16 (VUL) “ Qui est parvulus, declinet ad me ”. Et vecordi locuta est:
16 (UKJV) Whoso is simple, let him turn in here: and as for him that wants understanding, she says to him,

17 (UKJV) Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.

18 (UKJV) "But he knows not that the dead are there; and that her guest are in the depths of hell. "
