1 (CPDV) Unto the end. To the servant of the Lord, David himself.
1 (HEM) לדוד ריבה יהוה את יריבי לחם את לחמי׃
2 (CPDV) The unjust one has said within himself that he would commit offenses. There is no fear of God before his eyes.
2 (HEM) החזק מגן וצנה וקומה בעזרתי׃
3 (CPDV) For he has acted deceitfully in his sight, such that his iniquity will be found to be hatred.
3 (HEM) והרק חנית וסגר לקראת רדפי אמר לנפשי ישעתך אני׃
4 (CPDV) The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He is unwilling to understand, so that he may act well.
4 (HEM) יבשו ויכלמו מבקשי נפשי יסגו אחור ויחפרו חשבי רעתי׃
5 (CPDV) He has been considering iniquity on his bed. He has set himself on every way that is not good; moreover, he has not hated evil.
5 (HEM) יהיו כמץ לפני רוח ומלאך יהוה דוחה׃
6 (CPDV) Lord, your mercy is in heaven, and your truth is even to the clouds.
6 (HEM) יהי דרכם חשך וחלקלקות ומלאך יהוה רדפם׃
7 (CPDV) Your justice is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are a great abyss. Men and beasts, you will save, O Lord.
7 (HEM) כי חנם טמנו לי שחת רשתם חנם חפרו לנפשי׃
8 (CPDV) How you have multiplied your mercy, O God! And so the sons of men will hope under the cover of your wings.
8 (HEM) תבואהו שואה לא ידע ורשתו אשר טמן תלכדו בשואה יפל בה׃
9 (CPDV) They will be inebriated with the fruitfulness of your house, and you will give them to drink from the torrent of your enjoyment.
9 (HEM) ונפשי תגיל ביהוה תשיש בישועתו׃
10 (CPDV) For with you is the fountain of life; and within your light, we will see the light.
10 (HEM) כל עצמותי תאמרנה יהוה מי כמוך מציל עני מחזק ממנו ועני ואביון מגזלו׃
11 (CPDV) Extend your mercy before those who know you, and your justice to these, who are upright in heart.
11 (HEM) יקומון עדי חמס אשר לא ידעתי ישאלוני׃
12 (CPDV) May arrogant feet not approach me, and may the hand of the sinner not disturb me.
12 (HEM) ישלמוני רעה תחת טובה שכול לנפשי׃
13 (CPDV) In that place, those who work iniquity have fallen. They have been expelled; they were not able to stand.
13 (HEM) ואני בחלותם לבושי שק עניתי בצום נפשי ותפלתי על חיקי תשוב׃

14 (HEM) כרע כאח לי התהלכתי כאבל אם קדר שחותי׃
15 ----
15 (HEM) ובצלעי שמחו ונאספו נאספו עלי נכים ולא ידעתי קרעו ולא דמו׃
16 ----
16 (HEM) בחנפי לעגי מעוג חרק עלי שנימו׃
17 ----
17 (HEM) אדני כמה תראה השיבה נפשי משאיהם מכפירים יחידתי׃
18 ----
18 (HEM) אודך בקהל רב בעם עצום אהללך׃
19 ----
19 (HEM) אל ישמחו לי איבי שקר שנאי חנם יקרצו עין׃
20 ----
20 (HEM) כי לא שלום ידברו ועל רגעי ארץ דברי מרמות יחשבון׃
21 ----
21 (HEM) וירחיבו עלי פיהם אמרו האח האח ראתה עינינו׃
22 ----
22 (HEM) ראיתה יהוה אל תחרש אדני אל תרחק ממני׃
23 ----
23 (HEM) העירה והקיצה למשפטי אלהי ואדני לריבי׃
24 ----
24 (HEM) שפטני כצדקך יהוה אלהי ואל ישמחו לי׃
25 ----
25 (HEM) אל יאמרו בלבם האח נפשנו אל יאמרו בלענוהו׃
26 ----
26 (HEM) יבשו ויחפרו יחדו שמחי רעתי ילבשו בשת וכלמה המגדילים עלי׃
27 ----
27 (HEM) ירנו וישמחו חפצי צדקי ויאמרו תמיד יגדל יהוה החפץ שלום עבדו׃
28 ----
28 (HEM) ולשוני תהגה צדקך כל היום תהלתך׃

Verš 18
Ž 40:9 - They established an unjust word against me. Will he that sleeps no longer rise again?
Ž 111:1 - Alleluia. Of the return of Haggai and Zachariah. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord. He will prefer his commandments exceedingly.

Jób 21:18 - They will be like chaff before the face of the wind, and like ashes that the whirlwind scatters.

Z 35 - Mnohí cirkevní Otcovia slová tohto žalmu kladú na pery Ježiša Krista. Žalmista je tu predobrazom Mesiáša a jeho slová a utrpenie sú predobrazom slov a utrpenia Ježiša Krista, ako to vysvitá z evanjelia (Jn 15,25), kde sa 19. verš tohto žalmu uvádza v spojení s Ježišovým utrpením.
Z 35,2 - Pán má byť najspoľahlivejšou ochranou v tiesni.
