Žalmy

1 (HEM) לדוד בשנותו את טעמו לפני אבימלך ויגרשהו וילך אברכה את יהוה בכל עת תמיד תהלתו בפי׃
1 (KAT) Tento žalm zložil Dávid, keď sa tváril pred Abimelechom ako šialený. Ten ho potom prepustil a on odišiel.
1 (UKJV) I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 (HEM) ביהוה תתהלל נפשי ישמעו ענוים וישמחו׃
2 (KAT) Pána chcem velebiť v každom čase, moje ústa budú ho vždy chváliť.
2 (UKJV) My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

3 (HEM) גדלו ליהוה אתי ונרוממה שמו יחדו׃
3 (KAT) V Pánovi sa bude chváliť moja duša; nechže to počujú pokorní a nech sa tešia.
3 (UKJV) O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 (HEM) דרשתי את יהוה וענני ומכל מגורותי הצילני׃
4 (KAT) Velebte so mnou Pána a oslavujme jeho meno spoločne.
4 (UKJV) I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 (HEM) הביטו אליו ונהרו ופניהם אל יחפרו׃
5 (KAT) Hľadal som Pána a on ma vyslyšal a vytrhol ma zo všetkej hrôzy.
5 (UKJV) They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 (HEM) זה עני קרא ויהוה שמע ומכל צרותיו הושיעו׃
6 (KAT) Na neho hľaďte a budete žiariť a tvár vám nesčervenie hanbou.
6 (UKJV) This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 (HEM) חנה מלאך יהוה סביב ליראיו ויחלצם׃
7 (KAT) Úbožiak zavolal a Pán ho vyslyšal a vyslobodil ho zo všetkých tiesní.
7 (UKJV) The angel of the LORD camps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.

8 (HEM) טעמו וראו כי טוב יהוה אשרי הגבר יחסה בו׃
8 (KAT) Ako strážca sa utáborí anjel Pánov okolo bohabojných a vyslobodí ich.
8 (UKJV) O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.

9 (HEM) יראו את יהוה קדשיו כי אין מחסור ליראיו׃
9 (KAT) Skúste a presvedčte sa, aký dobrý je Pán; šťastný človek, čo sa utieka k nemu.
9 (UKJV) O fear the LORD, all of you his saints: for there is no lack to them that fear him.

10 (HEM) כפירים רשו ורעבו ודרשי יהוה לא יחסרו כל טוב׃
10 (KAT) Vy, jeho svätí, bojte sa Pána, veď bohabojní núdzu nemajú.
10 (UKJV) The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

11 (HEM) לכו בנים שמעו לי יראת יהוה אלמדכם׃
11 (KAT) Boháči sa nabiedia a nahladujú, ale tým, čo hľadajú Pána, nijaké dobro chýbať nebude.
11 (UKJV) Come, all of you children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 (HEM) מי האיש החפץ חיים אהב ימים לראות טוב׃
12 (KAT) Poďte, deti, čujte ma, naučím vás bázni Pánovej.
12 (UKJV) What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?

13 (HEM) נצר לשונך מרע ושפתיך מדבר מרמה׃
13 (KAT) Miluje niekto život a chce požívať dobro v šťastných dňoch?
13 (UKJV) Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.

14 (HEM) סור מרע ועשה טוב בקש שלום ורדפהו׃
14 (KAT) Zdržuj svoj jazyk od zlého a svoje pery od reči úlisnej.
14 (UKJV) "Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. "

15 (HEM) עיני יהוה אל צדיקים ואזניו אל שועתם׃
15 (KAT) Unikaj pred zlom a dobre rob, hľadaj pokoj a usiluj sa oň.
15 (UKJV) The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

16 (HEM) פני יהוה בעשי רע להכרית מארץ זכרם׃
16 (KAT) Pánove oči hľadia na spravodlivých a k ich volaniu sa nakláňa jeho sluch.
16 (UKJV) The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 (HEM) צעקו ויהוה שמע ומכל צרותם הצילם׃
17 (KAT) Tvár Pánova sa odvracia od tých, čo robia zlo, a vyhladzuje ich pamiatku zo zeme.
17 (UKJV) The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 (HEM) קרוב יהוה לנשברי לב ואת דכאי רוח יושיע׃
18 (KAT) Spravodliví volali a Pán ich vyslyšal a vyslobodil ich zo všetkých tiesní.
18 (UKJV) "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. "

19 (HEM) רבות רעות צדיק ומכלם יצילנו יהוה׃
19 (KAT) Pán je pri tých, čo majú srdce skrúšené, a zachraňuje zlomených na duchu.
19 (UKJV) Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.

20 (HEM) שמר כל עצמותיו אחת מהנה לא נשברה׃
20 (KAT) Spravodliví majú utrpení veľa, ale Pán ich vyslobodí zo všetkých.
20 (UKJV) He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 (HEM) תמותת רשע רעה ושנאי צדיק יאשמו׃
21 (KAT) Všetky kosti im ochraňuje, ani jedna sa im nezlomí.
21 (UKJV) Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 (HEM) פודה יהוה נפש עבדיו ולא יאשמו כל החסים בו׃
22 (KAT) Hriešnika zloba zahubí a tých, čo nenávidia spravodlivého, stihne trest.
22 (UKJV) The LORD redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

23 ----
23 (KAT) Pán vykúpi duše svojich služobníkov, nebudú potrestaní tí, čo v neho dúfajú.
