1 (UKJV) I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
1 (ROH) Dávidov, kde bol na pohľad zmenil svoj rozum pred Abimelechom, ktorý ho potom zahnal, a on išiel.
2 (UKJV) My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
2 (ROH) Aleph. Dobrorečiť budem Hospodinovi každého času. Jeho chvála bude neprestajne v mojich ústach.
3 (UKJV) O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
3 (ROH) Beth. V Hospodinovi sa bude chváliť moja duša, čo keď počujú pokorní, budú sa radovať.
4 (UKJV) I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
4 (ROH) Gimel. Zvelebujte so mnou Hospodina, a vyvyšujme spoločne jeho meno!
5 (UKJV) They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
5 (ROH) Daleth. Hľadal som Hospodina, a ohlásil sa mi a vytrhol ma zo všetkých mojich strachov.
6 (UKJV) This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
6 (ROH) Hé. Hľadieť budú na neho a pohrnú sa, a ich tvár nebude rumenieť hanbou.
7 (UKJV) The angel of the LORD camps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.
7 (ROH) Zajin. A povedia: Tento biedny volal, a Hospodin počul a vyslobodil ho zo všetkých jeho úzkostí a zachránil.
8 (UKJV) O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.
8 (ROH) Cheth. Anjel Hospodinov táborí vôkol tých, ktorí sa ho boja, a vytrhuje ich.
9 (UKJV) O fear the LORD, all of you his saints: for there is no lack to them that fear him.
9 (ROH) Teth. Okúste a vidzte, že dobrý je Hospodin; blahoslavený muž, ktorý sa utieka k nemu.
10 (UKJV) The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
10 (ROH) Jod. Bojte sa Hospodina, vy jeho svätí, lebo tí, ktorí sa ho boja, nemajú nedostatku.
11 (UKJV) Come, all of you children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
11 (ROH) Kaf. Mladí ľvi biedia a hladujú; ale tí, ktorí hľadajú Hospodina, nebudú mať nedostatku ničoho dobrého.
12 (UKJV) What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
12 (ROH) Lamed. Poďte, deti, počujte ma; budem vás vyučovať bázni Hospodinovej.
13 (UKJV) Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.
13 (ROH) Mem. Kde ktorý je to človek, ktorý má rád život, miluje dni, aby videl dobré?
14 (UKJV) "Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. "
14 (ROH) Nun. Strež svoj jazyk a zdŕžaj od zlého a svoje rty, aby nehovorily lesti!
15 (UKJV) The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
15 (ROH) Samech. Odstúp od zlého a čiň dobré; hľadaj pokoj a stíhaj ho!
16 (UKJV) The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
16 (ROH) Ajin. Oči Hospodinove hľadia na spravedlivých, a jeho uši sú naklonené k ich volaniu.
17 (UKJV) The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
17 (ROH) Pé. Tvár Hospodinova je obrátená proti tým, ktorí robia zlé, aby vyťal ich pamiatku zo zeme.
18 (UKJV) "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. "
18 (ROH) Tsadé. Keď volajú, Hospodin počuje a vytrhne ich zo všetkých ich úzkostí.
19 (UKJV) Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
19 (ROH) Kaf. Hospodin je blízky tým, ktorí sú skrúšeného srdca, a tých, ktorí sú zdrteného ducha, zachráni.
20 (UKJV) He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.
20 (ROH) Réš. Mnoho zlého prichádza na spravedlivého; ale zo všetkého toho vytrhuje Hospodin.
21 (UKJV) Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
21 (ROH) Šin. Strežie všetky jeho kosti; ani jedna z nich nebude zlámaná.
22 (UKJV) The LORD redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
22 (ROH) Tav. Bezbožníka usmrtí jeho vlastná zlosť, a tí, ktorí nenávidia spravedlivého, ponesú vinu.
23 ----
23 (ROH) Hospodin vykúpi dušu svojich služobníkov, a neponesú viny niktorí z tých, ktorí sa utiekajú k nemu.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
2Tim 3:12 - Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Jn 19:36 - For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
