1 (KJV) Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
1 (B21) Poučný žalm Davidův. Blaze tomu, komu jsou odpuštěny viny a jehož hříchy jsou přikryty.
2 (KJV) Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
2 (B21) Blaze člověku, jemuž Hospodin nepočítá provinění a jehož duch je beze lsti!
3 (KJV) When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
3 (B21) Dokud jsem mlčel, mé kosti chřadly, když celé dny jsem naříkal.
4 (KJV) For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
4 (B21) Tvá ruka tížila mě ve dne v noci, z mé mízy stal se letní suchopár. séla
5 (KJV) I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
5 (B21) Svůj hřích jsem však potom doznal tobě, své provinění jsem odhalil. Řekl jsem: "Vyznám Hospodinu své zločiny!" a tys mi odpustil mou vinu a hřích. séla
6 (KJV) For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
6 (B21) Ať k tobě modlí se každý věrný, dokud je čas tě naleznout; potom k nim nedosáhnou ani přívaly mocných vod.
7 (KJV) Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
7 (B21) Ty jsi má skrýše, před úzkostí mě chráníš, vítězným jásotem mě obklopíš! séla
8 (KJV) I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
8 (B21) Teď tě poučím, ukážu ti cestu, po níž jít; radu ti poskytnu, zrak k tobě obrátím:
9 (KJV) Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
9 (B21) "Nebuďte nerozumní jako kůň a mezek, co musí být zkroceni uzdou a ohlávkou, než tě poslechnou."
10 (KJV) Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
10 (B21) Mnoha bolestmi trpí ničemní, doufajícího v Hospodina však láska obklopí.
11 (KJV) Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
11 (B21) Radujte se v Hospodinu, jásejte, spravedliví, vesele prozpěvujte, všichni upřímní!

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Rim 4:6 - Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Verš 9
Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
Prís 26:3 - A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back.
Jak 3:3 - Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
Prís 28:13 - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
1Jn 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Verš 7
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Ž 27:5 - For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Ž 31:20 - Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
Z 32 - Toto je druhý kajúci žalm.
Z 32,3 - Žalmista opisuje svoju blaženosť po odpustení hriechu; lebo zakúsil, ako mu bolo, keď zamlčoval svoj hriech.
