1 (UKJV) And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.
1 (B21) Po dvou dlouhých letech měl farao sen: Stál u Nilu
2 (UKJV) "And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured cattle and well fed; and they fed in a meadow. "
2 (B21) a hle, z Nilu vystoupilo sedm nápadně krásných a tučných krav a pásly se v mokřině.
3 (UKJV) "And, behold, seven other cattle came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and thin; and stood by the other cattle upon the brink of the river. "
4 (UKJV) And the ill favoured and thin cattle did eat up the seven well favoured and fat cattle. So Pharaoh awoke.
4 (B21) a tyto ošklivé a hubené krávy sežraly těch sedm krásných a tučných. Vtom se Farao probudil.
5 (UKJV) And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.
5 (B21) Když znovu usnul, měl další sen: Na jednom stéble vyrostlo sedm bohatých a pěkných klasů.
6 (UKJV) And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.
6 (B21) Náhle za nimi vyrazilo sedm klasů hubených a sežehlých východním větrem
7 (UKJV) And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.
7 (B21) a ty hubené klasy pohltily těch sedm bohatých a pěkných.
8 (UKJV) "And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh. "
8 (B21) Ráno pak byl farao velmi rozrušen, a tak si dal zavolat všechny věštce a mudrce Egypta a vyprávěl jim své sny. Nikdo je však faraonovi neuměl vyložit.
9 (UKJV) Then spoke the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
9 (B21) Tehdy k faraonovi promluvil vrchní číšník: "Musím dnes připomenout své prohřešky:
10 (UKJV) Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard's house, both me and the chief baker:
10 (B21) Farao se kdysi rozhněval na své služebníky a dal mě do vězení v domě velitele stráže - mě a vrchního pekaře.
11 (UKJV) "And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream. "
11 (B21) Já i on jsme tam měli ve stejnou noc sen, každý jsme měli sen s vlastním významem.
12 (UKJV) "And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret. "
12 (B21) A byl tam s námi jeden hebrejský mladík, otrok velitele stráže. Vyprávěli jsme mu své sny a on nám je vyložil; každému dal výklad jeho snu.
13 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged. "
14 (UKJV) Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
14 (B21) Farao si tedy dal Josefa zavolat. Spěšně ho vytáhli z jámy, a když se oholil a převlékl si šaty, přišel k faraonovi.
15 (UKJV) And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of you, that you can understand a dream to interpret it.
16 (UKJV) And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
16 (B21) Josef faraonovi odpověděl: "Ne já, ale Bůh dá faraonovi příznivou odpověď!"
17 (UKJV) And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:
17 (B21) Farao tedy Josefovi řekl: "Měl jsem sen: Stál jsem na břehu Nilu
18 (UKJV) "And, behold, there came up out of the river seven cattle, well fed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow: "
18 (B21) a hle, z Nilu vystoupilo sedm tučných a nápadně krásných krav a pásly se v mokřině.
19 (UKJV) And, behold, seven other cattle came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and thin, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:
19 (B21) Náhle za nimi vystoupilo sedm jiných krav, churavých, nápadně ošklivých a tak vyhublých, že jsem takovou ošklivost v celé egyptské zemi ještě neviděl.
20 (UKJV) And the lean and the ill favoured cattle did eat up the first seven fat cattle:
20 (B21) Ty vyhublé a ošklivé krávy pak sežraly těch sedm prvních, tučných krav.
21 (UKJV) "And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke. "
22 (UKJV) And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:
22 (B21) V dalším snu jsem viděl, jak na jednom stéble vyrostlo sedm klasů, bohatých a pěkných.
23 (UKJV) And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:
23 (B21) Náhle za nimi vyrazilo sedm klasů planých, hubených a sežehlých východním větrem
24 (UKJV) "And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me. "
24 (B21) a ty hubené klasy pohltily těch sedm pěkných.
25 (UKJV) And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God has showed Pharaoh what he is about to do.
25 (B21) Josef tedy faraonovi řekl: "Faraonův sen je jeden a tentýž. Bůh faraonovi oznámil, co se chystá učinit:
26 (UKJV) "The seven good cattle are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one. "
26 (B21) Sedm pěkných krav je sedm let, sedm pěkných klasů je rovněž sedm let - je to jeden a tentýž sen.
27 (UKJV) "And the seven thin and ill favoured cattle that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine. "
28 (UKJV) This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he shows unto Pharaoh.
29 (UKJV) Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:
29 (B21) Hle, na celou egyptskou zem přichází sedm let veliké hojnosti.
30 (UKJV) "And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land; "
31 (UKJV) "And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous. "
32 (UKJV) "And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. "
33 (UKJV) Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.
33 (B21) Nechť tedy farao vybere rozvážného a moudrého muže a ustanoví ho nad egyptskou zemí.
34 (UKJV) Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven abundant years.
34 (B21) Nechť farao začne jednat. Ať ustaví nad zemí úředníky a během těch sedmi let hojnosti vybírá pětinu úrody egyptské země.
35 (UKJV) And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.
35 (B21) Úředníci ať během těch nadcházejících dobrých let shromažďují všechny potraviny, ať uskladní obilí pod faraonovu pravomoc, uloží potraviny do měst a hlídají je.
36 (UKJV) "And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine. "
37 (UKJV) And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.
38 (UKJV) And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
39 (UKJV) And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God has showed you all this, there is none so discreet and wise as you are:
39 (B21) Farao tedy oslovil Josefa: "Jelikož ti Bůh dal poznat toto vše, nikdo nebude tak rozvážný a moudrý jako ty!
40 (UKJV) You shall be over my house, and according unto your word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than you.
40 (B21) Ty budeš správcem mého domu a všechen můj lid se podrobí tvým rozkazům. Sám tě budu převyšovat jen trůnem."
41 (UKJV) And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.
41 (B21) Potom farao Josefovi řekl: "Hle, ustanovuji tě správcem nad celou egyptskou zemí!"
42 (UKJV) "And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; "
42 (B21) Farao sňal z ruky svůj pečetní prsten a navlékl ho na ruku Josefovi; oblékl mu kmentové roucho a na krk mu pověsil zlatý řetěz.
43 (UKJV) "And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt. "
43 (B21) Potom ho nechal vozit ve voze jako svého zástupce a provolávat před ním: "Na kolena!" Tak ho ustanovil správcem nad celou egyptskou zemí.
44 (UKJV) And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without you shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.
45 (UKJV) "And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt. "
45 (B21) Tehdy dal farao Josefovi jméno Cafnat-paneach a oženil ho s Asenat, dcerou Putifery, kněze z Heliopole.
46 (UKJV) And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.
46 (B21) Když stanul před faraonem, králem Egypta, bylo Josefovi třicet let. Josef pak vyšel od faraona a procházel celou egyptskou zem.
47 (UKJV) And in the seven abundant years the earth brought forth by handfuls.
47 (B21) V sedmi letech hojnosti země vydávala úrodu plnými hrstmi.
48 (UKJV) And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.
49 (UKJV) "And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number. "
50 (UKJV) And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.
50 (B21) Ještě než přišla léta hladu, se Josefovi narodili dva synové. Porodila mu je Asenat, dcera Putifery, kněze z Heliopole.
51 (UKJV) And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, has made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.
51 (B21) Josef dal prvorozenému jméno Manases, Zapomnění, neboť řekl: "Bůh mi dal zapomenout na všechno mé strádání, na celý můj otcovský dům."
52 (UKJV) And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
52 (B21) Druhému pak dal jméno Efraim, Plodnost, neboť řekl: "Bůh mě v zemi mého trápení učinil plodným."
53 (UKJV) And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended.
53 (B21) Když pak v Egyptě uplynulo sedm let hojnosti,
54 (UKJV) "And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread. "
55 (UKJV) "And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph; what he says to you, do. "
55 (B21) A když začala hladovět i celá egyptská zem a lid volal k faraonovi o chléb, farao řekl všem Egypťanům: "Jděte za Josefem! Udělejte, cokoli vám řekne."
56 (UKJV) "And the famine was over all the face of the earth: and Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians; and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt. "
56 (B21) Hlad zachvátil celý svět. Josef tehdy otevřel všechny obilnice a prodával Egypťanům zrní, neboť hlad se rozmáhal i v egyptské zemi.
57 (UKJV) "And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph in order to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands. "
