1 (KAT) Keď sa ľudia začali na zemi množiť a keď sa im narodili dcéry,
1 (UKJV) And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
1 (LS) Lorsque les hommes eurent commencé à se multiplier sur la face de la terre, et que des filles leur furent nées,

2 (KAT) Boží synovia videli, že ľudské dcéry sú pekné, a brali si z nich za ženy, koľko len chceli.
2 (UKJV) "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. "
2 (LS) les fils de Dieu virent que les filles des hommes étaient belles, et ils en prirent pour femmes parmi toutes celles qu'ils choisirent.

3 (KAT) A Pán povedal: „Môj Duch neostane dlho v ľuďoch (pre ich poblúdenie), lebo sú len telo. Ich dní bude iba stodvadsať rokov.“
3 (UKJV) And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
3 (LS) Alors l'Eternel dit: Mon esprit ne restera pas à toujours dans l'homme, car l'homme n'est que chair, et ses jours seront de cent vingt ans.

4 (KAT) V tom čase boli na zemi obri - ba aj neskôr -, a keď Boží synovia obcovali s ľudskými dcérami, ony im rodili obrov. To sú hrdinovia dávnych čias, slávni mužovia.
4 (UKJV) "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. "
4 (LS) Les géants étaient sur la terre en ces temps-là, après que les fils de Dieu furent venus vers les filles des hommes, et qu'elles leur eurent donné des enfants: ce sont ces héros qui furent fameux dans l'antiquité.

5 (KAT) Keď Pán videl, že ľudská neresť na zemi je veľká a že všetko zmýšľanie ich srdca je ustavične naklonené na zlé,
5 (UKJV) And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
5 (LS) L'Eternel vit que la méchanceté des hommes était grande sur la terre, et que toutes les pensées de leur coeur se portaient chaque jour uniquement vers le mal.

6 (KAT) Pán oľutoval, že stvoril človeka na zemi. Bol skormútený v srdci a povedal:
6 (UKJV) And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
6 (LS) L'Eternel se repentit d'avoir fait l'homme sur la terre, et il fut affligé en son coeur.

7 (KAT) „Vyničím zo zemského povrchu ľudí, ktorých som stvoril: človeka i zvieratá, plazy i nebeské vtáctvo, lebo ľutujem, že som ich urobil.“
7 (UKJV) "And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them. "
7 (LS) Et l'Eternel dit: J'exterminerai de la face de la terre l'homme que j'ai créé, depuis l'homme jusqu'au bétail, aux reptiles, et aux oiseaux du ciel; car je me repens de les avoir faits.

8 (KAT) Iba Noe našiel milosť u Pána.
8 (UKJV) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
8 (LS) Mais Noé trouva grâce aux yeux de l'Eternel.

9 (KAT) Toto je Noemova história: Noe bol najspravodlivejší a najbezúhonnejší muž medzi svojimi súčasníkmi. Noe viedol bohumilý život.
9 (UKJV) These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
9 (LS) Voici la postérité de Noé. Noé était un homme juste et intègre dans son temps; Noé marchait avec Dieu.

10 (KAT) Noemovi sa narodili traja synovia: Sem, Cham a Jafet.
10 (UKJV) And Noah brings forth three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
10 (LS) Noé engendra trois fils: Sem, Cham et Japhet.

11 (KAT) Zem však bola skazená pred Bohom, zem bola plná nerestí.
11 (UKJV) The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
11 (LS) La terre était corrompue devant Dieu, la terre était pleine de violence.

12 (KAT) I videl Boh, že zem je veľmi skazená, lebo všetko ľudstvo blúdilo na svojej ceste.
12 (UKJV) "And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. "
12 (LS) Dieu regarda la terre, et voici, elle était corrompue; car toute chair avait corrompu sa voie sur la terre.

13 (KAT) Tu povedal Boh Noemovi: „Predo mnou nastal koniec všetkému, čo má telo, lebo zem je preplnená ich neprávosťou a ja ich zničím aj so zemou.
13 (UKJV) "And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh has come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. "
13 (LS) Alors Dieu dit à Noé: La fin de toute chair est arrêtée par devers moi; car ils ont rempli la terre de violence; voici, je vais les détruire avec la terre.

14 (KAT) Urob si koráb z cyprusového dreva, v korábe urob priehrady a znútra i zvonka ho vymaž smolou!
14 (UKJV) "Make you an ark of gopher wood; rooms shall you make in the ark, and shall pitch it within and without with pitch. "
14 (LS) Fais-toi une arche de bois de gopher; tu disposeras cette arche en cellules, et tu l'enduiras de poix en dedans et en dehors.

15 (KAT) A postav ho takto: tristo lakťov bude jeho dĺžka, päťdesiat lakťov jeho šírka a tridsať lakťov jeho výška.
15 (UKJV) And this is the fashion which you shall make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
15 (LS) Voici comment tu la feras: l'arche aura trois cents coudées de longueur, cinquante coudées de largeur et trente coudées de hauteur.

16 (KAT) Na korábe sprav aj otvor na jeden lakeť, urob ho hore dookola! Aj dvere daj na bok korába a urob spodné, stredné a vrchné poschodie.
16 (UKJV) "A window shall you make to the ark, and in a cubit shall you finish it above; and the door of the ark shall you set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shall you make it. "
16 (LS) Tu feras à l'arche une fenêtre, que tu réduiras à une coudée en haut; tu établiras une porte sur le côté de l'arche; et tu construiras un étage inférieur, un second et un troisième.

17 (KAT) Lebo ja privediem na zem vody potopy, aby som zničil každé telo, v ktorom je dych života pod nebom. Všetko, čo je na zemi, zahynie.
17 (UKJV) "And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. "
17 (LS) Et moi, je vais faire venir le déluge d'eaux sur la terre, pour détruire toute chair ayant souffle de vie sous le ciel; tout ce qui est sur la terre périra.

18 (KAT) S tebou však uzavriem zmluvu: do korába vojdeš ty i tvoji synovia, tvoja žena aj ženy tvojich synov s tebou.
18 (UKJV) "But with you will I establish my covenant; and you shall come into the ark, you, and your sons, and your wife, and your sons' wives with you. "
18 (LS) Mais j'établis mon alliance avec toi; tu entreras dans l'arche, toi et tes fils, ta femme et les femmes de tes fils avec toi.

19 (KAT) A z každého druhu živočíchov vezmeš do korába po jednom páre, aby sa s tebou zachovali nažive, teda samca i samicu.
19 (UKJV) "And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shall you bring into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. "
19 (LS) De tout ce qui vit, de toute chair, tu feras entrer dans l'arche deux de chaque espèce, pour les conserver en vie avec toi: il y aura un mâle et une femelle.

20 (KAT) Zo všetkých vtákov podľa svojho druhu, z dobytka podľa svojho druhu a z plazov podľa svojho druhu vojdú po dvoch do korába s tebou, aby mohli žiť.
20 (UKJV) Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto you, to keep them alive.
20 (LS) Des oiseaux selon leur espèce, du bétail selon son espèce, et de tous les reptiles de la terre selon leur espèce, deux de chaque espèce viendront vers toi, pour que tu leur conserves la vie.

21 (KAT) Ty však naber z každého jedla, čo sa jedáva, a vezmi so sebou! To bude tebe aj im za pokrm.“
21 (UKJV) "And take you unto you of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to you; and it shall be for food for you, and for them. "
21 (LS) Et toi, prends de tous les aliments que l'on mange, et fais-en une provision auprès de toi, afin qu'ils te servent de nourriture ainsi qu'à eux.

22 (KAT) A Noe urobil všetko tak, ako mu prikázal urobiť Boh.
22 (UKJV) "Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. "
22 (LS) C'est ce que fit Noé: il exécuta tout ce que Dieu lui avait ordonné.
