1 (UKJV) And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed in order to go into Macedonia.

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
2Pt 2:1 - But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Sk 20,5 - Rozprávanie znova pokračuje v prvej osobe množného čísla a končí sa až v 21, 18. Znamená to, že vo Filipách sa pripojil k Pavlovi Lukáš.

Sk 20,6 - Dni Nekvasených chlebov sú sviatky židovskej Veľkej noci.

Sk 20,7 - Prvý deň po sobote je nedeľa, čiže deň Kristovho zmŕtvychvstania. Máme tu dôkaz, že kresťania od počiatku slávili nedeľu ako deň Pána (Zjv 1, 10; 1 Kor 16, 2). Lámanie chleba tu znamená slávenie Eucharistie.

Sk 20,13 - Asson bol asi 40 km od Troady na ázijskom pobreží.

Sk 20,14 - Mityléna bol prístav na ostrove Lesbos.

Sk 20,15 - Chios a Samos sú ostrovy v Egejskom mori.

Sk 20,28 - Výraz "biskup" (gr. epískopos) pôvodne znamenal strážcu, dozorcu, zodpovedného za spoločenstvo. Len neskôr, asi na začiatku 2. storočia, sa stáva titulom biskupského úradu a hodnosti, odlišných od úradu kňazov (presbyterov).

Sk 20,29 - Nebezpečenstvo náboženských novátorov. Porov. Gal 1, 7–9; 5, 7–12; Flp 3, 2; Kol 2, 8.10.19; Zjv 2, 6.15.

Sk 20,35 - Tento Ježišov výrok nie je zachytený, zapísaný v evanjeliách, a preto ho voláme "agrafon", čiže nenapísaný výrok. Zachoval sa v ústnom podaní.
