1 (KAT) Keď dvaja anjeli došli do Sodomy, Lot sedel v bráne Sodomy. Keď ich Lot uvidel, vstal a šiel im oproti. Poklonil sa tvárou k zemi
1 (UKJV) "And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; "
1 (LS) Les deux anges arrivèrent à Sodome sur le soir; et Lot était assis à la porte de Sodome. Quand Lot les vit, il se leva pour aller au-devant d'eux, et se prosterna la face contre terre.

2 (KAT) a povedal: „Prosím vás, páni moji, zabočte do domu svojho služobníka a prenocujte tam. Umyjete si nohy a včasráno vstanete a budete pokračovať vo svojej ceste.“ Oni však odpovedali: „Nie! Prenocujeme vonku.“
2 (UKJV) "And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and all of you shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. "
2 (LS) Puis il dit: Voici, mes seigneurs, entrez, je vous prie, dans la maison de votre serviteur, et passez-y la nuit; lavez-vous les pieds; vous vous lèverez de bon matin, et vous poursuivrez votre route. Non, répondirent-ils, nous passerons la nuit dans la rue.

3 (KAT) Ale on na nich nástojil, aby zostali u neho. I vošli do domu. Pripravil im pohostenie, dal napiecť nekvaseného chleba a najedli sa.
3 (UKJV) "And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. "
3 (LS) Mais Lot les pressa tellement qu'ils vinrent chez lui et entrèrent dans sa maison. Il leur donna un festin, et fit cuire des pains sans levain. Et ils mangèrent.

4 (KAT) Ale skôr, ako si ľahli, mužovia mesta, mužovia Sodomy od chlapca až po starca, celé mesto do posledného chlapa obkolesili dom,
4 (UKJV) But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
4 (LS) Ils n'étaient pas encore couchés que les gens de la ville, les gens de Sodome, entourèrent la maison, depuis les enfants jusqu'aux vieillards; toute la population était accourue.

5 (KAT) vyvolali Lota a povedali mu: „Kde sú mužovia, čo prišli dnes večer k tebe? Priveď ich k nám, aby sme s nimi obcovali!“
5 (UKJV) And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to you this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
5 (LS) Ils appelèrent Lot, et lui dirent: Où sont les hommes qui sont entrés chez toi cette nuit? Fais-les sortir vers nous, pour que nous les connaissions.

6 (KAT) Tu Lot vyšiel k nim predo dvere, zavrel dvere za sebou
6 (UKJV) And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
6 (LS) Lot sortit vers eux à l'entrée de la maison, et ferma la porte derrière lui.

7 (KAT) a povedal im: „Bratia moji, nože nerobte hriech!
7 (UKJV) And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
7 (LS) Et il dit: Mes frères, je vous prie, ne faites pas le mal!

8 (KAT) Mám dve dcéry, ktoré ešte nepoznali muža. Vyvediem vám ich, robte s nimi, čo sa vám páči. Týmto mužom však nerobte nič také, veď oni sa uchýlili do tieňa mojej strechy!“
8 (UKJV) "Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do all of you to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. "
8 (LS) Voici, j'ai deux filles qui n'ont point connu d'homme; je vous les amènerai dehors, et vous leur ferez ce qu'il vous plaira. Seulement, ne faites rien à ces hommes puisqu'ils sont venus à l'ombre de mon toit.

9 (KAT) Oni však volali: „Prac sa preč!“ A dodali: „Prišiel sem ako cudzinec a chcel by súdiť. Teraz ti vyvedieme horšie ako tým.“ Veľmi dorážali na Lota a pokúšali sa vylomiť dvere.
9 (UKJV) And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will essentially be a judge: now will we deal worse with you, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
9 (LS) Ils dirent: Retire-toi! Ils dirent encore: Celui-ci est venu comme étranger, et il veut faire le juge! Eh bien, nous te ferons pis qu'à eux. Et, pressant Lot avec violence, ils s'avancèrent pour briser la porte.

10 (KAT) Vtedy tí mužovia načiahli ruky, vtiahli Lota dnu a zamkli dvere.
10 (UKJV) But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
10 (LS) Les hommes étendirent la main, firent rentrer Lot vers eux dans la maison, et fermèrent la porte.

11 (KAT) Mužov však, veľkých aj malých, čo boli pri vchode do domu, ranili slepotou, takže sa márne namáhali nájsť vchod.
11 (UKJV) And they stroke the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
11 (LS) Et ils frappèrent d'aveuglement les gens qui étaient à l'entrée de la maison, depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand, de sorte qu'ils se donnèrent une peine inutile pour trouver la porte.

12 (KAT) Potom mužovia povedali Lotovi: „Ak tu máš nejakého zaťa, syna alebo dcéru a ak niekto z mesta patrí k tebe, vyveď ich preč z tohoto mesta,
12 (UKJV) And the men said unto Lot, Have you here any besides? son in law, and your sons, and your daughters, and whatsoever you have in the city, bring them out of this place:
12 (LS) Les hommes dirent à Lot: Qui as-tu encore ici? Gendres, fils et filles, et tout ce qui t'appartient dans la ville, fais-les sortir de ce lieu.

13 (KAT) lebo zničíme toto mesto, pretože je naň veľká žaloba pred Pánom. Pán nás poslal zničiť ho.“
13 (UKJV) "For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is becoming great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD has sent us to destroy it. "
13 (LS) Car nous allons détruire ce lieu, parce que le cri contre ses habitants est grand devant l'Eternel. L'Eternel nous a envoyés pour le détruire.

14 (KAT) Vtedy Lot vyšiel von a povedal svojim zaťom, ktorí si mali vziať jeho dcéry: „Vstaňte, poďte preč z tohoto miesta, lebo Pán mesto zničí!“ Jeho zaťovia si však mysleli, že robí žarty.
14 (UKJV) "And Lot went out, and spoke unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law. "
14 (LS) Lot sortit, et parla à ses gendres qui avaient pris ses filles: Levez-vous, dit-il, sortez de ce lieu; car l'Eternel va détruire la ville. Mais, aux yeux de ses gendres, il parut plaisanter.

15 (KAT) Keď svitol deň, anjeli nútili Lota, aby sa ponáhľal. Hovorili: „Vstaň, vezmi svoju ženu a obe dcéry, ktoré tu máš, aby si nezahynul pre neprávosť mesta!“
15 (UKJV) "And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take your wife, and your two daughters, which are here; lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city. "
15 (LS) Dès l'aube du jour, les anges insistèrent auprès de Lot, en disant: Lève-toi, prends ta femme et tes deux filles qui se trouvent ici, de peur que tu ne périsses dans la ruine de la ville.

16 (KAT) A keď váhal, chytili ho obaja mužovia za ruku, aj jeho ženu a obe dcéry, lebo Pán ich chcel zachrániť, vyviedli ich von a nechali ich za mestom.
16 (UKJV) "And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. "
16 (LS) Et comme il tardait, les hommes le saisirent par la main, lui, sa femme et ses deux filles, car l'Eternel voulait l'épargner; ils l'emmenèrent, et le laissèrent hors de la ville.

17 (KAT) Keď ich vyvádzali von, jeden z nich povedal: „Zachráň si život! Neobzeraj sa za seba a nezastavuj sa nikde v okolí Jordánu! Ponáhľaj sa na vrchy, aby si nezahynul!“
17 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for your life; look not behind you, neither stay you in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest you be consumed. "
17 (LS) Après les avoir fait sortir, l'un d'eux dit: Sauve-toi, pour ta vie; ne regarde pas derrière toi, et ne t'arrête pas dans toute la plaine; sauve-toi vers la montagne, de peur que tu ne périsses.

18 (KAT) Lot im povedal: „Ach, nie, Pane!
18 (UKJV) And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my LORD:
18 (LS) Lot leur dit: Oh! non, Seigneur!

19 (KAT) Zaiste tvoj služobník našiel milosť pred tebou, veď si mi preukázal veľké milosrdenstvo, keď si zachoval môj život, ale na vrchoch sa nebudem môcť zachrániť! Aby ma azda nestihlo nešťastie, aby som nezomrel.
19 (UKJV) "Behold now, your servant has found grace in your sight, and you have magnified your mercy, which you have showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die: "
19 (LS) Voici, j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, et tu as montré la grandeur de ta miséricorde à mon égard, en me conservant la vie; mais je ne puis me sauver à la montagne, avant que le désastre m'atteigne, et je périrai.

20 (KAT) Pozri, tu neďaleko je mesto, tam môžem utiecť.
20 (UKJV) Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
20 (LS) Voici, cette ville est assez proche pour que je m'y réfugie, et elle est petite. Oh! que je puisse m'y sauver,... n'est-elle pas petite?... et que mon âme vive!

21 (KAT) Ono je len malé a ja sa v ňom zachránim! Malé je a ja ostanem nažive!“ I povedal mu: „Dobre teda, vyslyším ťa aj v tejto veci a mesto, o ktorom hovoríš, nezničím.
21 (UKJV) And he said unto him, See, I have accepted you concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which you have spoken.
21 (LS) Et il lui dit: Voici, je t'accorde encore cette grâce, et je ne détruirai pas la ville dont tu parles.

22 (KAT) Rýchle ta teda utekaj, lebo kým ta nedôjdeš, nemôžem nič robiť.“ Preto sa mesto volá Segor.
22 (UKJV) "Haste you, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till you be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. "
22 (LS) Hâte-toi de t'y réfugier, car je ne puis rien faire jusqu'à ce que tu y sois arrivé. C'est pour cela que l'on a donné à cette ville le nom de Tsoar.

23 (KAT) Slnko vyšlo nad zem, keď Lot došiel do Segoru.
23 (UKJV) The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
23 (LS) Le soleil se levait sur la terre, lorsque Lot entra dans Tsoar.

24 (KAT) A Pán dal padať na Sodomu a Gomoru síru a oheň z neba od Pána
24 (UKJV) "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; "
24 (LS) Alors l'Eternel fit pleuvoir du ciel sur Sodome et sur Gomorrhe du soufre et du feu, de par l'Eternel.

25 (KAT) a zničil tie mestá i celé okolie Jordánu so všetkými obyvateľmi mesta a so všetkým poľným rastlinstvom.
25 (UKJV) And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
25 (LS) Il détruisit ces villes, toute la plaine et tous les habitants des villes, et les plantes de la terre.

26 (KAT) Keď sa jeho žena za ním obzrela, premenila sa v soľný stĺp.
26 (UKJV) But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
26 (LS) La femme de Lot regarda en arrière, et elle devint une statue de sel.

27 (KAT) Abrahám sa vybral zavčas rána na miesto, na ktorom predtým stál pred Pánom.
27 (UKJV) And Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD:
27 (LS) Abraham se leva de bon matin, pour aller au lieu où il s'était tenu en présence de l'Eternel.

28 (KAT) Keď sa pozrel na Sodomu a Gomoru a na celú okolitú krajinu, videl vystupovať zo zeme dym ako dym z pece.
28 (UKJV) And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
28 (LS) Il porta ses regards du côté de Sodome et de Gomorrhe, et sur tout le territoire de la plaine; et voici, il vit s'élever de la terre une fumée, comme la fumée d'une fournaise.

29 (KAT) Boh teda pamätal na Abraháma, keď Boh zničil mestá a okolie a Lota vyviedol zo záhuby, keď zničil mestá, v ktorých Lot býval.
29 (UKJV) And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
29 (LS) Lorsque Dieu détruisit les villes de la plaine, il se souvint d'Abraham; et il fit échapper Lot du milieu du désastre, par lequel il bouleversa les villes où Lot avait établi sa demeure.

30 (KAT) Potom Lot vyšiel hore a osadil sa na vrchu spolu s oboma svojimi dcérami. Bál sa totiž bývať v Segore a býval s oboma svojimi dcérami v jaskyni.
30 (UKJV) "And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters. "
30 (LS) Lot quitta Tsoar pour la hauteur, et se fixa sur la montagne, avec ses deux filles, car il craignait de rester à Tsoar. Il habita dans une caverne, lui et ses deux filles.

31 (KAT) Tu povedala staršia mladšej: „Náš otec je už starý a na zemi niet muža, ktorý by s nami obcoval, ako je to zvykom na celom svete.
31 (UKJV) And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
31 (LS) L'aînée dit à la plus jeune: Notre père est vieux; et il n'y a point d'homme dans la contrée, pour venir vers nous, selon l'usage de tous les pays.

32 (KAT) Poď, opojíme nášho otca vínom a ľahneme si k nemu, aby sme zachovali od nášho otca potomstvo.“
32 (UKJV) Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
32 (LS) Viens, faisons boire du vin à notre père, et couchons avec lui, afin que nous conservions la race de notre père.

33 (KAT) Dali mu teda v tú noc napiť sa vína. Potom vošla staršia a spala so svojím otcom. On však nevedel, ani kedy si ľahla, ani kedy vstala.
33 (UKJV) "And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. "
33 (LS) Elles firent donc boire du vin à leur père cette nuit-là; et l'aînée alla coucher avec son père: il ne s'aperçut ni quand elle se coucha, ni quand elle se leva.

34 (KAT) Na druhý deň povedala zasa staršia mladšej: „Pozri, ja som minulej noci spala s otcom. Dáme mu aj v tento večer napiť sa vína. Potom pôjdeš ty dnu a ľahneš si k nemu, aby sme si zachovali od nášho otca potomstvo!“
34 (UKJV) "And it came to pass on the next day, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay last night with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go you in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. "
34 (LS) Le lendemain, l'aînée dit à la plus jeune: Voici, j'ai couché la nuit dernière avec mon père; faisons-lui boire du vin encore cette nuit, et va coucher avec lui, afin que nous conservions la race de notre père.

35 (KAT) Dali teda aj v túto noc svojmu otcovi piť víno. Potom mladšia vstala a ľahla si k nemu. On však nevedel, ani kedy si ľahla, ani kedy vstala.
35 (UKJV) "And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. "
35 (LS) Elles firent boire du vin à leur père encore cette nuit-là; et la cadette alla coucher avec lui: il ne s'aperçut ni quand elle se coucha, ni quand elle se leva.

36 (KAT) Takto počali obe Lotove dcéry zo svojho otca.
36 (UKJV) Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.
36 (LS) Les deux filles de Lot devinrent enceintes de leur père.

37 (KAT) Staršia porodila syna a dala mu meno Moab. On je praotcom dnešných Moabčanov.
37 (UKJV) And the first born bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.
37 (LS) L'aînée enfanta un fils, qu'elle appela du nom de Moab: c'est le père des Moabites, jusqu'à ce jour.

38 (KAT) Ale aj mladšia porodila syna a dala mu meno Amon. On je praotcom dnešných Amončanov.
38 (UKJV) And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.
38 (LS) La plus jeune enfanta aussi un fils, qu'elle appela du nom de Ben-Ammi: c'est le père des Ammonites, jusqu'à ce jour.
