Kniha Genezis

1 (KAT) A znova sa mu zjavil Pán pri terebintoch Mamreho, keď za najväčšej horúčavy dňa sedel pri vchode do stanu.
1 (UKJV) "And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; "
1 (LS) L'Eternel lui apparut parmi les chênes de Mamré, comme il était assis à l'entrée de sa tente, pendant la chaleur du jour.

2 (KAT) Keď zdvihol oči, videl neďaleko seba stáť troch mužov. Len čo ich zbadal, utekal im od vchodu svojho stanu v ústrety, poklonil sa až k zemi
2 (UKJV) And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
2 (LS) Il leva les yeux, et regarda: et voici, trois hommes étaient debout près de lui. Quand il les vit, il courut au-devant d'eux, depuis l'entrée de sa tente, et se prosterna en terre.

3 (KAT) a povedal: „Pane, ak nachádzam milosť v tvojich očiach, neobíď svojho služobníka;
3 (UKJV) And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in your sight, pass not away, I pray you, from your servant:
3 (LS) Et il dit: Seigneur, si j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, ne passe point, je te prie, loin de ton serviteur.

4 (KAT) donesie sa trochu vody, umyte si nohy a odpočiňte si pod stromom!
4 (UKJV) Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
4 (LS) Permettez qu'on apporte un peu d'eau, pour vous laver les pieds; et reposez-vous sous cet arbre.

5 (KAT) Prinesiem kúsok chleba a posilníte sa. Potom pôjdete ďalej. Veď prečože by ste mali prejsť popri svojom služobníkovi?!“ Oni odpovedali: „Urob, ako vravíš!“
5 (UKJV) "And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort all of you your hearts; after that all of you shall pass on: for therefore are all of you come to your servant. And they said, So do, as you have said. "
5 (LS) J'irai prendre un morceau de pain, pour fortifier votre coeur; après quoi, vous continuerez votre route; car c'est pour cela que vous passez près de votre serviteur. Ils répondirent: Fais comme tu l'as dit.

6 (KAT) Abrahám sa poponáhľal do Sárinho (oddelenia) stanu a povedal: „Zober rýchlo tri miery jemnej múky, zamies a napeč podplamenníkov!“
6 (UKJV) And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
6 (LS) Abraham alla promptement dans sa tente vers Sara, et il dit: Vite, trois mesures de fleur de farine, pétris, et fais des gâteaux.

7 (KAT) Potom Abrahám bežal k stádu, vybral pekné mladé teľa, dal ho sluhovi a on sa poponáhľal pripraviť ho.
7 (UKJV) "And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. "
7 (LS) Et Abraham courut à son troupeau, prit un veau tendre et bon, et le donna à un serviteur, qui se hâta de l'apprêter.

8 (KAT) Potom priniesol maslo, sladké mlieko i teľa, ktoré dal pripraviť, a predložil im to. Sám však ostal stáť opodiaľ pod stromom, kým oni jedli.
8 (UKJV) "And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat. "
8 (LS) Il prit encore de la crème et du lait, avec le veau qu'on avait apprêté, et il les mit devant eux. Il se tint lui-même à leurs côtés, sous l'arbre. Et ils mangèrent.

9 (KAT) Tu sa ho opýtali: „Kde je tvoja žena Sára?“ On odpovedal: „Tu v stane.“
9 (UKJV) And they said unto him, Where is Sarah your wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
9 (LS) Alors ils lui dirent: Où est Sara, ta femme? Il répondit: Elle est là, dans la tente.

10 (KAT) Vtedy mu on povedal: „O rok v tomto čase sa vrátim a tvoja žena Sára bude mať už syna.“ Sára načúvala pri vchode do stanu, ktorý bol za jej chrbtom.
10 (UKJV) "And he said, I will certainly return unto you according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah your wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. "
10 (LS) L'un d'entre eux dit: Je reviendrai vers toi à cette même époque; et voici, Sara, ta femme, aura un fils. Sara écoutait à l'entrée de la tente, qui était derrière lui.

11 (KAT) Abrahám a Sára boli starí, pokročilí vekom; Sáre sa už nestávalo, čo sa stáva ženám.
11 (UKJV) "Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. "
11 (LS) Abraham et Sara étaient vieux, avancés en âge: et Sara ne pouvait plus espérer avoir des enfants.

12 (KAT) Preto sa Sára sama v sebe zasmiala, mysliac si: „Teraz, keď som stará, budem mať rozkoš? A môj pán je tiež už starec!“
12 (UKJV) Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
12 (LS) Elle rit en elle-même, en disant: Maintenant que je suis vieille, aurais-je encore des désirs? Mon seigneur aussi est vieux.

13 (KAT) Tu Pán povedal Abrahámovi: „Prečo sa Sára smeje a myslí si pri tom: »Mohla by som naozaj ešte porodiť, takáto starena?«
13 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I certainly bear a child, which am old?
13 (LS) L'Eternel dit à Abraham: Pourquoi donc Sara a-t-elle ri, en disant: Est-ce que vraiment j'aurais un enfant, moi qui suis vieille?

14 (KAT) Je azda Pánovi nejaká vec nemožná? O rok v tomto čase sa vrátim k tebe a Sára bude mať syna!“
14 (UKJV) Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
14 (LS) Y a-t-il rien qui soit étonnant de la part de l'Eternel? Au temps fixé je reviendrai vers toi, à cette même époque; et Sara aura un fils.

15 (KAT) Sára zapierala: „Ja som sa nesmiala!“ Bála sa totiž. On však povedal: „Nie. Smiala si sa.“
15 (UKJV) "Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but you did laugh. "
15 (LS) Sara mentit, en disant: Je n'ai pas ri. Car elle eut peur. Mais il dit: Au contraire, tu as ri.

16 (KAT) Mužovia sa potom odtiaľ pobrali a zamierili k Sodome. Abrahám išiel s nimi, aby ich odprevadil.
16 (UKJV) And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
16 (LS) Ces hommes se levèrent pour partir, et ils regardèrent du côté de Sodome. Abraham alla avec eux, pour les accompagner.

17 (KAT) A Pán prehovoril: „Mám pred Abrahámom tajiť, čo chcem urobiť?!
17 (UKJV) "And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; "
17 (LS) Alors l'Eternel dit: Cacherai-je à Abraham ce que je vais faire?...

18 (KAT) Veď z Abraháma sa má stať veľký a mocný národ a v ňom majú byť požehnané všetky národy zeme.
18 (UKJV) Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
18 (LS) Abraham deviendra certainement une nation grande et puissante, et en lui seront bénies toutes les nations de la terre.

19 (KAT) Nuž oznámim mu to, lebo on prikáže svojim synom a svojmu domu po sebe zachovávať Pánovu cestu, konať podľa spravodlivosti a práva, aby tak Pán splnil Abrahámovi všetko, čo mu prisľúbil.“
19 (UKJV) "For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he has spoken of him. "
19 (LS) Car je l'ai choisi, afin qu'il ordonne à ses fils et à sa maison après lui de garder la voie de l'Eternel, en pratiquant la droiture et la justice, et qu'ainsi l'Eternel accomplisse en faveur d'Abraham les promesses qu'il lui a faites...

20 (KAT) Preto Pán povedal: „Žaloba na Sodomu a Gomoru je veľká a ich hriech je veľmi ťažký.
20 (UKJV) "And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; "
20 (LS) Et l'Eternel dit: Le cri contre Sodome et Gomorrhe s'est accru, et leur péché est énorme.

21 (KAT) Zostúpim, aby som sa presvedčil, či naozaj tak robia, aká je obžaloba, čo došla ku mne, a či nie. Chcem to vedieť.“
21 (UKJV) "I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which has come unto me; and if not, I will know. "
21 (LS) C'est pourquoi je vais descendre, et je verrai s'ils ont agi entièrement selon le bruit venu jusqu'à moi; et si cela n'est pas, je le saurai.

22 (KAT) Mužovia sa potom odtiaľ obrátili a išli do Sodomy, kým Abrahám ostal ešte stáť pred Pánom.
22 (UKJV) And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
22 (LS) Les hommes s'éloignèrent, et allèrent vers Sodome. Mais Abraham se tint encore en présence de l'Eternel.

23 (KAT) Tu Abrahám pristúpil bližšie a povedal: „Zahubíš azda spravodlivého spolu s bezbožným?
23 (UKJV) And Abraham drew near, and said, Will you also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
23 (LS) Abraham s'approcha, et dit: Feras-tu aussi périr le juste avec le méchant?

24 (KAT) Možno, že je v meste päťdesiat spravodlivých. Vari ich zahubíš, alebo radšej odpustíš mestu kvôli päťdesiatim spravodlivým, čo sú v ňom?
24 (UKJV) Possibly there be fifty righteous within the city: will you also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
24 (LS) Peut-être y a-t-il cinquante justes au milieu de la ville: les feras-tu périr aussi, et ne pardonneras-tu pas à la ville à cause des cinquante justes qui sont au milieu d'elle?

25 (KAT) Nech je ďaleko od teba, že by si takto robil, usmrcoval spravodlivého s bezbožným! Takto by sa rovnako vodilo spravodlivému i bezbožnému. To nech je ďaleko od teba! Ty, ktorý súdiš celú zem, nebudeš takto súdiť!“
25 (UKJV) That be far from you to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from you: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
25 (LS) Faire mourir le juste avec le méchant, en sorte qu'il en soit du juste comme du méchant, loin de toi cette manière d'agir! loin de toi! Celui qui juge toute la terre n'exercera-t-il pas la justice?

26 (KAT) Pán mu povedal: „Ak v meste Sodome nájdem päťdesiat spravodlivých, kvôli nim odpustím celému mestu.“
26 (UKJV) And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
26 (LS) Et l'Eternel dit: Si je trouve dans Sodome cinquante justes au milieu de la ville, je pardonnerai à toute la ville, à cause d'eux.

27 (KAT) Abrahám však začal znova a povedal: „Hľa, opovážil som sa rozprávať s Pánom, hoci som len prach a popol.
27 (UKJV) And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD, which am but dust and ashes:
27 (LS) Abraham reprit, et dit: Voici, j'ai osé parler au Seigneur, moi qui ne suis que poudre et cendre.

28 (KAT) Možno, že do päťdesiat budú chýbať piati spravodliví. Zničil by si kvôli piatim celé mesto?“ On odpovedal: „Nezničím, ak ich tam nájdem štyridsaťpäť.“
28 (UKJV) Possibly there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: will you destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.
28 (LS) Peut-être des cinquante justes en manquera-t-il cinq: pour cinq, détruiras-tu toute la ville? Et l'Eternel dit: Je ne la détruirai point, si j'y trouve quarante-cinq justes.

29 (KAT) A on mu ďalej hovoril: „A čo, keď sa ich tam nájde len štyridsať?“ On odpovedal: „Neurobím to kvôli štyridsiatim.“
29 (UKJV) And he spoke unto him yet again, and said, Possibly there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake.
29 (LS) Abraham continua de lui parler, et dit: Peut-être s'y trouvera-t-il quarante justes. Et l'Eternel dit: Je ne ferai rien, à cause de ces quarante.

30 (KAT) Potom povedal: „Ach, nehnevaj sa, Pane, keď ešte hovorím. A ak sa ich tam nájde len tridsať?“ Odpovedal: „Neurobím to, ak ich tam nájdem tridsať.“
30 (UKJV) And he said unto him, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak: Possibly there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
30 (LS) Abraham dit: Que le Seigneur ne s'irrite point, et je parlerai. Peut-être s'y trouvera-t-il trente justes. Et l'Eternel dit: Je ne ferai rien, si j'y trouve trente justes.

31 (KAT) A zasa povedal: „Hľa, začal som hovoriť svojmu Pánovi: Čo bude, ak sa ich tam nájde len dvadsať?“ A on odvetil: „Nezahubím (ich) kvôli dvadsiatim.“
31 (UKJV) And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD: Possibly there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.
31 (LS) Abraham dit: Voici, j'ai osé parler au Seigneur. Peut-être s'y trouvera-t-il vingt justes. Et l'Eternel dit: Je ne la détruirai point, à cause de ces vingt.

32 (KAT) A ešte povedal: „Ach, nehnevaj sa, Pane, že ešte raz vravím. Ak sa ich tam nájde len desať?“ On odpovedal: „Nezahubím kvôli desiatim.“ Keď Pán dokončil rozhovor s Abrahámom, odišiel a Abrahám sa vrátil na svoje miesto.
32 (UKJV) And he said, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Possibly ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.
32 (LS) Abraham dit: Que le Seigneur ne s'irrite point, et je ne parlerai plus que cette fois. Peut-être s'y trouvera-t-il dix justes. Et l'Eternel dit: Je ne la détruirai point, à cause de ces dix justes.

33 ----
33 (UKJV) And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
33 (LS) L'Eternel s'en alla lorsqu'il eut achevé de parler à Abraham. Et Abraham retourna dans sa demeure.
