Kniha Genezis

1 (KAT) Abramova žena Sarai neporodila mu dieťa. Mala však ona aj egyptskú slúžku menom Agar.
1 (UKJV) Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
1 (LS) Saraï, femme d'Abram, ne lui avait point donné d'enfants. Elle avait une servante Egyptienne, nommée Agar.

2 (KAT) Sarai povedala Abramovi: „Pozri, Pán ma uzavrel, že nemôžem porodiť. Vojdi teda k mojej slúžke! Možno, že aspoň z nej dostanem synov.“ Abram počúvol jej radu.
2 (UKJV) "And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing: I pray you, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. "
2 (LS) Et Saraï dit à Abram: Voici, l'Eternel m'a rendue stérile; viens, je te prie, vers ma servante; peut-être aurai-je par elle des enfants. Abram écouta la voix de Saraï.

3 (KAT) I vzala Abramova žena Sarai svoju služobnicu, Egypťanku Agar - Abram vtedy býval už desať rokov v kanaánskej krajine -, a dala ju za ženu svojmu mužovi Abramovi.
3 (UKJV) And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.
3 (LS) Alors Saraï, femme d'Abram, prit Agar, l'Egyptienne, sa servante, et la donna pour femme à Abram, son mari, après qu'Abram eut habité dix années dans le pays de Canaan.

4 (KAT) On k nej vošiel a ona počala. Keď však spozorovala, že počala, s opovrhnutím sa dívala na svoju paniu.
4 (UKJV) And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
4 (LS) Il alla vers Agar, et elle devint enceinte. Quand elle se vit enceinte, elle regarda sa maîtresse avec mépris.

5 (KAT) Vtedy povedala Sarai Abramovi: „Na mojej krivde máš aj ty účasť. Ja sama som dala svoju slúžku do tvojho lona a teraz, keď vidí, že počala, pozerá na mňa s opovrhnutím. Nech Pán súdi medzi mnou a tebou!“
5 (UKJV) "And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon you: I have given my maid into your bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and you. "
5 (LS) Et Saraï dit à Abram: L'outrage qui m'est fait retombe sur toi. J'ai mis ma servante dans ton sein; et, quand elle a vu qu'elle était enceinte, elle m'a regardée avec mépris. Que l'Eternel soit juge entre moi et toi!

6 (KAT) Abram odvetil Sarai: „Veď je tvoja slúžka v tvojej moci! Nalož s ňou, ako uznáš za dobré!“ Sarai však s ňou nakladala tvrdo, takže ona od nej utiekla.
6 (UKJV) "But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, your maid is in your hand; do to her as it pleases you. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face. "
6 (LS) Abram répondit à Saraï: Voici, ta servante est en ton pouvoir, agis à son égard comme tu le trouveras bon. Alors Saraï la maltraita; et Agar s'enfuit loin d'elle.

7 (KAT) Pánov anjel ju však našiel pri prameni vody na púšti, na ceste do Suru,
7 (UKJV) And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.
7 (LS) L'ange de l'Eternel la trouva près d'une source d'eau dans le désert, près de la source qui est sur le chemin de Schur.

8 (KAT) a povedal jej: „Odkiaľ ideš, Agar, Saraina slúžka, a kam sa uberáš?“ A ona odpovedala: „Utekám pred svojou paňou Sarai.“
8 (UKJV) And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence came you? and where will you go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.
8 (LS) Il dit: Agar, servante de Saraï, d'où viens-tu, et où vas-tu? Elle répondit: Je fuis loin de Saraï, ma maîtresse.

9 (KAT) Tu jej Pánov anjel povedal: „Vráť sa k svojej panej a podrob sa jej moci!“
9 (UKJV) And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.
9 (LS) L'ange de l'Eternel lui dit: Retourne vers ta maîtresse, et humilie-toi sous sa main.

10 (KAT) A Pánov anjel jej hovoril ďalej: „Tak veľmi rozmnožím tvoje potomstvo, že sa pre množstvo nedá ani spočítať.“
10 (UKJV) And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply your seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
10 (LS) L'ange de l'Eternel lui dit: Je multiplierai ta postérité, et elle sera si nombreuse qu'on ne pourra la compter.

11 (KAT) A ešte jej Pánov anjel hovoril: „Hľa, počala si a porodíš syna, a nazveš ho menom Izmael, lebo Pán vypočul tvoje vzdychy;
11 (UKJV) "And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, you are with child and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Ishmael; because the LORD has heard your affliction. "
11 (LS) L'ange de l'Eternel lui dit: Voici, tu es enceinte, et tu enfanteras un fils, à qui tu donneras le nom d'Ismaël; car l'Eternel t'a entendue dans ton affliction.

12 (KAT) bude to človek ako divý osol, jeho ruka bude proti všetkým a ruky všetkých proti nemu a bude bývať nablízku všetkých svojich bratov.“
12 (UKJV) "And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. "
12 (LS) Il sera comme un âne sauvage; sa main sera contre tous, et la main de tous sera contre lui; et il habitera en face de tous ses frères.

13 (KAT) Potom nazvala Pána, ktorý k nej hovoril: „Ty si Boh, ktorý si ma videl, lebo“ - povedala - „či som azda nevidela toho, ktorý sa na mňa díval?“
13 (UKJV) And she called the name of the LORD that spoke unto her, You God see me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that sees me?
13 (LS) Elle appela Atta-El-roï le nom de l'Eternel qui lui avait parlé; car elle dit: Ai-je rien vu ici, après qu'il m'a vue?

14 (KAT) Preto studňu nazvala studňou Lachaj roi (studňa Živého, ktorý ma vidí). To je tá medzi Kádešom a Baradom.
14 (UKJV) "Wherefore the well was called Beerlahairoi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered. "
14 (LS) C'est pourquoi l'on a appelé ce puits le puits de Lachaï-roï; il est entre Kadès et Bared.

15 (KAT) Potom Agar porodila Abramovi syna a Abram nazval syna, ktorého mu porodila Agar, Izmael.
15 (UKJV) And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.
15 (LS) Agar enfanta un fils à Abram; et Abram donna le nom d'Ismaël au fils qu'Agar lui enfanta.

16 (KAT) Abram mal osemdesiatšesť rokov, keď mu Agar porodila Izmaela.
16 (UKJV) And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.
16 (LS) Abram était âgé de quatre-vingt-six ans lorsqu'Agar enfanta Ismaël à Abram.
