1 (CPDV) Now concerning spiritual things, I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers.
1 (KAT) A nechcem bratia, aby ste nevedeli o duchovných daroch.
1 (UKJV) Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
1 (LS) Pour ce qui concerne les dons spirituels, je ne veux pas, frères, que vous soyez dans l'ignorance.

2 (CPDV) You know that when you were Gentiles, you approached mute idols, doing what you were led to do.
2 (KAT) Viete, že keď ste boli pohanmi, ťahalo vás to a chodili ste za nemými modlami.
2 (UKJV) All of you know that all of you were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as all of you were led.
2 (LS) Vous savez que, lorsque vous étiez païens, vous vous laissiez entraîner vers les idoles muettes, selon que vous étiez conduits.

3 (CPDV) Because of this, I would have you know that no one speaking in the Spirit of God utters a curse against Jesus. And no one is able to say that Jesus is Lord, except in the Holy Spirit.
3 (KAT) Preto vám vyhlasujem, že nik, kto hovorí v Božom Duchu, nepovie: „Prekliaty Ježiš!“, a nik nemôže povedať: „Ježiš je Pán“, iba ak v Duchu Svätom.
3 (UKJV) Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit (o. pneuma) of God calls Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)
3 (LS) C'est pourquoi je vous déclare que nul, s'il parle par l'Esprit de Dieu, ne dit: Jésus est anathème! et que nul ne peut dire: Jésus est le Seigneur! si ce n'est par le Saint-Esprit.

4 (CPDV) Truly, there are diverse graces, but the same Spirit.
4 (KAT) Dary milosti sú rozličné, ale Duch je ten istý.
4 (UKJV) Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. (o. pneuma)
4 (LS) Il y a diversité de dons, mais le même Esprit;

5 (CPDV) And there are diverse ministries, but the same Lord.
5 (KAT) Aj služby sú rozličné, ale Pán je ten istý.
5 (UKJV) And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
5 (LS) diversité de ministères, mais le même Seigneur;

6 (CPDV) And there are diverse works, but the same God, who works everything in everyone.
6 (KAT) A rozličné sú aj účinky, ale Boh, ktorý pôsobí všetko vo všetkých, je ten istý.
6 (UKJV) And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which works all in all.
6 (LS) diversité d'opérations, mais le même Dieu qui opère tout en tous.

7 (CPDV) However, the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one toward what is beneficial.
7 (KAT) Každý však dostáva prejavy Ducha na všeobecný úžitok.
7 (UKJV) But the manifestation of the Spirit (o. pneuma) is given to every man to profit likewise.
7 (LS) Or, à chacun la manifestation de l'Esprit est donnée pour l'utilité commune.

8 (CPDV) Certainly, to one, through the Spirit, is given words of wisdom; but to another, according to the same Spirit, words of knowledge;
8 (KAT) Jeden dostáva skrze Ducha slovo múdrosti, iný podľa toho istého Ducha slovo poznania,
8 (UKJV) "In order to one is given by the Spirit (o. pneuma) the word (o. logos) of wisdom; to another the word (o. logos) of knowledge by the same Spirit; (o. pneuma) "
8 (LS) En effet, à l'un est donnée par l'Esprit une parole de sagesse; à un autre, une parole de connaissance, selon le même Esprit;

9 (CPDV) to another, in the same Spirit, faith; to another, in the one Spirit, the gift of healing;
9 (KAT) iný vieru v tom istom Duchu a iný v tom istom Duchu dar uzdravovať,
9 (UKJV) "To another faith by the same Spirit; (o. pneuma) to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; (o. pneuma) "
9 (LS) à un autre, la foi, par le même Esprit; à un autre, le don des guérisons, par le même Esprit;

10 (CPDV) to another, miraculous works; to another, prophecy; to another, the discernment of spirits; to another, different kinds of languages; to another, the interpretation of words.
10 (KAT) iný schopnosť robiť zázraky, iný prorokovať, iný rozlišovať duchov, iný dar rozličných jazykov a iný vysvetľovať jazyky.
10 (UKJV) "To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; (o. pneuma) to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: "
10 (LS) à un autre, le don d'opérer des miracles; à un autre, la prophétie; à un autre, le discernement des esprits; à un autre, la diversité des langues; à un autre, l'interprétation des langues.

11 (CPDV) But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one according to his will.
11 (KAT) Ale toto všetko pôsobí jeden a ten istý Duch, ktorý rozdeľuje každému, ako chce.
11 (UKJV) But all these works that one and the very same Spirit, (o. pneuma) dividing to every man severally as he will.
11 (LS) Un seul et même Esprit opère toutes ces choses, les distribuant à chacun en particulier comme il veut.

12 (CPDV) For just as the body is one, and yet has many parts, so all the parts of the body, though they are many, are only one body. So also is Christ.
12 (KAT) Lebo ako je jedno telo a má mnoho údov, ale všetky údy tela sú jedno telo, hoci je ich mnoho, tak aj Kristus.
12 (UKJV) For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
12 (LS) Car, comme le corps est un et a plusieurs membres, et comme tous les membres du corps, malgré leur nombre, ne forment qu'un seul corps, ainsi en est-il de Christ.

13 (CPDV) And indeed, in one Spirit, we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether servant or free. And we all drank in the one Spirit.
13 (KAT) Veď my všetci, či Židia alebo Gréci, či otroci alebo slobodní, boli sme v jednom Duchu pokrstení v jedno telo. A všetci sme boli napojení jedným Duchom.
13 (UKJV) "For by one Spirit (o. pneuma) are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (o. pneuma) "
13 (LS) Nous avons tous, en effet, été baptisés dans un seul Esprit, pour former un seul corps, soit Juifs, soit Grecs, soit esclaves, soit libres, et nous avons tous été abreuvés d'un seul Esprit.

14 (CPDV) For the body, too, is not one part, but many.
14 (KAT) Telo nie je jeden úd, ale mnoho údov.
14 (UKJV) For the body is not one member, but many.
14 (LS) Ainsi le corps n'est pas un seul membre, mais il est formé de plusieurs membres.

15 (CPDV) If the foot were to say, “Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body,” would it then not be of the body?
15 (KAT) A keby noha povedala: „Nie som ruka, nepatrím k telu,“ tým ešte neprestáva patriť k telu.
15 (UKJV) "If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? "
15 (LS) Si le pied disait: Parce que je ne suis pas une main, je ne suis pas du corps,  ne serait-il pas du corps pour cela?

16 (CPDV) And if the ear were to say, “Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body,” would it then not be of the body?
16 (KAT) A keby povedalo ucho: „Nie som oko, nepatrím k telu,“ tým ešte neprestáva patriť k telu.
16 (UKJV) "And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? "
16 (LS) Et si l'oreille disait: Parce que je ne suis pas un oeil, je ne suis pas du corps,  ne serait-elle pas du corps pour cela?

17 (CPDV) If the whole body were the eye, how would it hear? If the whole were hearing, how would it smell?
17 (KAT) Keby bolo celé telo okom, kde by bol sluch? A keby bolo celé sluchom, kde by bol čuch?
17 (UKJV) If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
17 (LS) Si tout le corps était oeil, où serait l'ouïe? S'il était tout ouïe, où serait l'odorat?

18 (CPDV) But instead, God has placed the parts, each one of them, in the body, just as it has pleased him.
18 (KAT) Ale Boh rozložil údy, každý jeden z nich, v tele, ako chcel.
18 (UKJV) But now has God set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.
18 (LS) Maintenant Dieu a placé chacun des membres dans le corps comme il a voulu.

19 (CPDV) So if they were all one part, how would it be a body?
19 (KAT) Keby boli všetky jedným údom, kde by bolo telo?
19 (UKJV) And if they were all one member, where were the body?
19 (LS) Si tous étaient un seul membre, où serait le corps?

20 (CPDV) But instead, there are many parts, indeed, yet one body.
20 (KAT) No takto je mnoho údov, ale iba jedno telo.
20 (UKJV) But now are they many members, yet but one body.
20 (LS) Maintenant donc il y a plusieurs membres, et un seul corps.

21 (CPDV) And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need for your works.” And again, the head cannot say to the feet, “You are of no use to me.”
21 (KAT) A oko nemôže povedať ruke: „Nepotrebujem ťa!“ ani hlava nohám: „Nepotrebujem vás!“
21 (UKJV) And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of you: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
21 (LS) L'oeil ne peut pas dire à la main: Je n'ai pas besoin de toi; ni la tête dire aux pieds: Je n'ai pas besoin de vous.

22 (CPDV) In fact, so much more necessary are those parts of the body which seem to be weaker.
22 (KAT) Ba čo viac, údy tela, ktoré sa zdajú slabšie, sú nevyhnutne potrebné.
22 (UKJV) Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
22 (LS) Mais bien plutôt, les membres du corps qui paraissent être les plus faibles sont nécessaires;

23 (CPDV) And though we consider certain parts of the body to be less noble, we surround these with more abundant dignity, and so, those parts which are less presentable end up with more abundant respect.
23 (KAT) A údy tela, ktoré pokladáme za menej ušľachtilé, zaodievame s väčšou úctou a naše nečestné údy majú tým väčšiu česť,
23 (UKJV) "And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our indecent parts have more abundant loveliness. "
23 (LS) et ceux que nous estimons être les moins honorables du corps, nous les entourons d'un plus grand honneur. Ainsi nos membres les moins honnêtes reçoivent le plus d'honneur,

24 (CPDV) However, our presentable parts have no such need, since God has tempered the body together, distributing the more abundant honor to that which has the need,
24 (KAT) kým naše čestné nič také nepotrebujú. Boh telo vyvážil tak, že slabšiemu údu dal väčšiu česť,
24 (UKJV) For our comely parts have no need: but God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
24 (LS) tandis que ceux qui sont honnêtes n'en ont pas besoin. Dieu a disposé le corps de manière à donner plus d'honneur à ce qui en manquait,

25 (CPDV) so that there might be no schism in the body, but instead the parts themselves might take care of one another.
25 (KAT) aby nebola v tele roztržka, ale aby sa údy rovnako starali jeden o druhý.
25 (UKJV) "That there should be no division in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. "
25 (LS) afin qu'il n'y ait pas de division dans le corps, mais que les membres aient également soin les uns des autres.

26 (CPDV) And so, if one part suffers anything, all the parts suffer with it. Or, if one part finds glory, all the parts rejoice with it.
26 (KAT) Ak teda trpí jeden úd, trpia spolu s ním všetky údy, a ak vychvaľujú jeden úd, radujú sa s ním všetky údy.
26 (UKJV) "And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. "
26 (LS) Et si un membre souffre, tous les membres souffrent avec lui; si un membre est honoré, tous les membres se réjouissent avec lui.

27 (CPDV) Now you are the body of Christ, and parts like any part.
27 (KAT) Vy ste Kristovo telo a jednotlivo ste údy.
27 (UKJV) Now all of you are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
27 (LS) Vous êtes le corps de Christ, et vous êtes ses membres, chacun pour sa part.

28 (CPDV) And indeed, God has established a certain order in the Church: first Apostles, second Prophets, third Teachers, next miracle-workers, and then the grace of healing, of helping others, of governing, of different kinds of languages, and of the interpretation of words.
28 (KAT) A v Cirkvi Boh niektorých ustanovil po prvé za apoštolov, po druhé za prorokov, po tretie za učiteľov, potom sú zázraky, ďalej dary uzdravovať, pomáhať, viesť, dar rozličných jazykov.
28 (UKJV) And God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
28 (LS) Et Dieu a établi dans l'Eglise premièrement des apôtres, secondement des prophètes, troisièmement des docteurs, ensuite ceux qui ont le don des miracles, puis ceux qui ont les dons de guérir, de secourir, de gouverner, de parler diverses langues.

29 (CPDV) Are all Apostles? Are all Prophets? Are all Teachers?
29 (KAT) Sú vari všetci apoštolmi? Sú všetci prorokmi? Všetci učiteľmi? Robia všetci zázraky?
29 (UKJV) Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
29 (LS) Tous sont-ils apôtres? Tous sont-ils prophètes? Tous sont-ils docteurs? Tous ont-ils le don des miracles?

30 (CPDV) Are all workers of miracles? Do all have the grace of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?
30 (KAT) Majú všetci dar uzdravovať? Hovoria všetci jazykmi? Vari všetci vysvetľujú?
30 (UKJV) Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
30 (LS) Tous ont-ils le don des guérisons? Tous parlent-ils en langues? Tous interprètent-ils?

31 (CPDV) But be zealous for the better charisms. And I reveal to you a yet more excellent way. 662
31 (KAT) Ale usilujte sa o vyššie dary milosti. A ešte vznešenejšiu cestu vám ukážem.
31 (UKJV) But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.
31 (LS) Aspirez aux dons les meilleurs. Et je vais encore vous montrer une voie par excellence.
