1. kniha Samuelova

1 (KAT) Samuel povedal celému Izraelu: „Vidíte, že som počúval váš hlas vo všetkom, čo ste mi vraveli, a ustanovil som nad vami kráľa!
1 (UKJV) And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that all of you said unto me, and have made a king over you.
1 (LS) Samuel dit à tout Israël: Voici, j'ai écouté votre voix dans tout ce que vous m'avez dit, et j'ai établi un roi sur vous.

2 (KAT) A tak teraz kráľ kráča pred vami! Ja však som zostarel a ošedivel a moji synovia sú tu medzi vami! Ja som kráčal pred vami od svojej mladosti až po dnešný deň.
2 (UKJV) "And now, behold, the king walks before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day. "
2 (LS) Et maintenant, voici le roi qui marchera devant vous. Pour moi, je suis vieux, j'ai blanchi, et mes fils sont avec vous; j'ai marché à votre tête, depuis ma jeunesse jusqu'à ce jour.

3 (KAT) Hľa, tu som, vypovedajte proti mne pred Pánom a pred jeho pomazaným! Komu som vzal vola? Komu som vzal osla? Koho som utláčal? Koho som ubíjal? Z čej ruky som prijal úplatok a prižmúril som oči? Chcem vám nahradiť.“
3 (UKJV) Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.
3 (LS) Me voici! Rendez témoignage contre moi, en présence de l'Eternel et en présence de son oint. De qui ai-je pris le boeuf et de qui ai-je pris l'âne? Qui ai-je opprimé, et qui ai-je traité durement? De qui ai-je reçu un présent, pour fermer les yeux sur lui? Je vous le rendrai.

4 (KAT) Odpovedali mu: „Neutláčal a neubíjal si nás, ani si z ničej ruky nič neprijal.“
4 (UKJV) And they said, You have not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither have you taken ought of any man's hand.
4 (LS) Ils répondirent: Tu ne nous as point opprimés, et tu ne nous as point traités durement, et tu n'as rien reçu de la main de personne.

5 (KAT) Povedal im: „Nech je Pán proti vám svedkom a nech je svedkom tohoto dňa jeho pomazaný, že ste nenašli nič v mojej ruke!“ Oni odpovedali: „Nech je svedkom!“
5 (UKJV) And he said unto them, The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that all of you have not found ought in my hand. And they answered, He is witness.
5 (LS) Il leur dit encore: L'Eternel est témoin contre vous, et son oint est témoin, en ce jour, que vous n'avez rien trouvé dans mes mains. Et ils répondirent: Ils en sont témoins.

6 (KAT) Vtedy Samuel hovoril ľudu: „Ten Pán, ktorý vzbudil Mojžiša a Árona a ktorý vyviedol vašich otcov z Egypta.
6 (UKJV) And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.
6 (LS) Alors Samuel dit au peuple: C'est l'Eternel qui a établi Moïse et Aaron, et qui a fait monter vos pères du pays d'Egypte.

7 (KAT) Nuž postavte sa teraz, nech sa súdim s vami pred Pánom pre všetky Pánove dobrodenia, ktoré preukázal vám i vašim otcom!
7 (UKJV) Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.
7 (LS) Maintenant, présentez-vous, et je vous jugerai devant l'Eternel sur tous les bienfaits que l'Eternel vous a accordés, à vous et à vos pères.

8 (KAT) Keď Jakub prišiel do Egypta, volali vaši otcovia k Pánovi. Nato Pán poslal Mojžiša a Árona, ktorí vyviedli vašich otcov z Egypta; potom ich usadil na tomto mieste.
8 (UKJV) When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.
8 (LS) Après que Jacob fut venu en Egypte, vos pères crièrent à l'Eternel, et l'Eternel envoya Moïse et Aaron, qui firent sortir vos pères d'Egypte et les firent habiter dans ce lieu.

9 (KAT) Ale zabudli na Pána, svojho Boha, preto ich vydal do ruky Sisaru, vojvodcu z Chasoru, do ruky Filištíncov a do ruky moabského kráľa, ktorí bojovali proti nim.
9 (UKJV) And when they forgotten about the LORD their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them.
9 (LS) Mais ils oublièrent l'Eternel, leur Dieu; et il les vendit entre les mains de Sisera, chef de l'armée de Hatsor, entre les mains des Philistins, et entre les mains du roi de Moab, qui leur firent la guerre.

10 (KAT) Vtedy volali k Pánovi a vraveli: »Zhrešili sme, veď sme opustili Pána a slúžili sme bálom a aštartám. Vysloboď nás teraz z ruky našich nepriateľov, budeme ti slúžiť!«
10 (UKJV) And they cried unto the LORD, and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD, and have served Baalim and Ashtaroth: but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve you.
10 (LS) Ils crièrent encore à l'Eternel, et dirent: Nous avons péché, car nous avons abandonné l'Eternel, et nous avons servi les Baals et les Astartés; délivre-nous maintenant de la main de nos ennemis, et nous te servirons.

11 (KAT) Nato Pán poslal Jerobála, Badana, Jefteho a Samuela, ktorí vás vyslobodili z ruky vašich okolitých nepriateľov, i mohli ste bývať v bezpečí.
11 (UKJV) And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and all of you dwelled safe.
11 (LS) Et l'Eternel envoya Jerubbaal, Bedan, Jephthé et Samuel, et il vous délivra de la main de vos ennemis qui vous entouraient, et vous demeurâtes en sécurité.

12 (KAT) Keď ste však videli, že kráľ Amončanov Naás tiahne proti vám, hovorili ste mi: »Nie! Ale nech kraľuje nad nami kráľ« - hoci vaším kráľom je Pán, váš Boh.
12 (UKJV) "And when all of you saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, all of you said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king. "
12 (LS) Puis, voyant que Nachasch, roi des fils d'Ammon, marchait contre vous, vous m'avez dit: Non! mais un roi régnera sur nous. Et cependant l'Eternel, votre Dieu, était votre roi.

13 (KAT) Teraz, hľa, tu je kráľ, ktorého ste si zvolili, ktorého ste si žiadali! Hľa, Pán postavil nad vami kráľa!
13 (UKJV) Now therefore behold the king whom all of you have chosen, and whom all of you have desired! and, behold, the LORD has set a king over you.
13 (LS) Voici donc le roi que vous avez choisi, que vous avez demandé; voici, l'Eternel a mis sur vous un roi.

14 (KAT) Ak sa budete báť Pána a budete mu slúžiť, ak budete počúvať na jeho hlas a nebudete strpčovať Pánovu tvár, budete aj vy, aj kráľ, ktorý nad vami panuje, nasledovať Pána.
14 (UKJV) If all of you will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both all of you and also the king that reigns over you continue following the LORD your God:
14 (LS) Si vous craignez l'Eternel, si vous le servez, si vous obéissez à sa voix, et si vous n'êtes point rebelles à la parole de l'Eternel, vous vous attacherez à l'Eternel, votre Dieu, vous et le roi qui règne sur vous.

15 (KAT) Ale ak nebudete počúvať Pánov hlas a budete strpčovať Pánovu tvár, bude Pánova ruka proti vám (a proti vašim otcom).
15 (UKJV) But if all of you will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.
15 (LS) Mais si vous n'obéissez pas à la voix de l'Eternel, et si vous êtes rebelles à la parole de l'Eternel, la main de l'Eternel sera contre vous, comme elle a été contre vos pères.

16 (KAT) Teraz sa však postavte a pozerajte sa na túto veľkú vec, ktorú Pán urobí pred vašimi očami!
16 (UKJV) Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.
16 (LS) Attendez encore ici, et voyez le prodige que l'Eternel va opérer sous vos yeux.

17 (KAT) Či nie je dnes deň žatvy pšenice? Budem volať k Pánovi a dá hromobitie a dážď. Tak sa dozviete a uvidíte, že je veľká vaša vina, ktorej ste sa dopustili pred Pánovými očami, keď ste si žiadali kráľa.“
17 (UKJV) "Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that all of you may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which all of you have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king. "
17 (LS) Ne sommes-nous pas à la moisson des blés? J'invoquerai l'Eternel, et il enverra du tonnerre et de la pluie. Sachez alors et voyez combien vous avez eu tort aux yeux de l'Eternel de demander pour vous un roi.

18 (KAT) Vtedy Samuel volal k Pánovi a Pán dal v ten deň hromobitie a dážď. A všetok ľud sa veľmi bál Pána a Samuela.
18 (UKJV) "So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel. "
18 (LS) Samuel invoqua l'Eternel, et l'Eternel envoya ce même jour du tonnerre et de la pluie. Tout le peuple eut une grande crainte de l'Eternel et de Samuel.

19 (KAT) A všetok ľud hovoril Samuelovi: „Modli sa za svojich sluhov k Pánovi, svojmu Bohu, aby sme nepomreli! Veď sme ku všetkým svojim hriechom pripojili vinu, že sme si žiadali kráľa!“
19 (UKJV) And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for your servants unto the LORD your God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.
19 (LS) Et tout le peuple dit à Samuel: Prie l'Eternel, ton Dieu, pour tes serviteurs, afin que nous ne mourions pas; car nous avons ajouté à tous nos péchés le tort de demander pour nous un roi.

20 (KAT) Samuel odpovedal ľudu: „Nebojte sa! Vy ste popáchali všetko toto zlo, ale sa len neodďaľujte od Pána a slúžte Pánovi celým svojím srdcom!
20 (UKJV) "And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: all of you have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; "
20 (LS) Samuel dit au peuple: N'ayez point de crainte! Vous avez fait tout ce mal; mais ne vous détournez pas de l'Eternel, et servez l'Eternel de tout votre coeur.

21 (KAT) A nevzďaľujte sa za ničomnosťami, ktoré nepomôžu a nezachránia, pretože sú ničomnosťou!
21 (UKJV) "And turn all of you not aside: for then should all of you go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain. "
21 (LS) Ne vous en détournez pas; sinon, vous iriez après des choses de néant, qui n'apportent ni profit ni délivrance, parce que ce sont des choses de néant.

22 (KAT) Lebo Pán nezavrhne svoj ľud pre svoje veľké meno, pretože sa Pánovi zaľúbilo urobiť vás veľkým národom.
22 (UKJV) For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it has pleased the LORD to make you his people.
22 (LS) L'Eternel n'abandonnera point son peuple, à cause de son grand nom, car l'Eternel a résolu de faire de vous son peuple.

23 (KAT) Aj odo mňa nech je ďaleko, žeby som sa prehrešil proti Pánovi a žeby som sa prestal za vás modliť! Ba budem vás učiť dobrej a pravej ceste.
23 (UKJV) Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:
23 (LS) Loin de moi aussi de pécher contre l'Eternel, de cesser de prier pour vous! Je vous enseignerai le bon et le droit chemin.

24 (KAT) Len sa bojte Pána a slúžte mu verne celým svojím srdcom, veď vidíte, aké veľké veci urobil s vami!
24 (UKJV) Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he has done for you.
24 (LS) Craignez seulement l'Eternel, et servez-le fidèlement de tout votre coeur; car voyez quelle puissance il déploie parmi vous.

25 (KAT) Ale ak budete páchať zlo, zahyniete aj vy, aj váš kráľ!“
25 (UKJV) But if all of you shall still do wickedly, all of you shall be consumed, both all of you and your king.
25 (LS) Mais si vous faites le mal, vous périrez, vous et votre roi.
