1 (HEM) ויהי בבא דוד ואנשיו צקלג ביום השלישי ועמלקי פשטו אל נגב ואל צקלג ויכו את צקלג וישרפו אתה באש׃
1 (KAT) Keď Dávid a jeho mužovia na tretí deň došli do Sikelegu, vpadli Amalekiti na rovinu a do Sikelegu, dobyli Sikeleg a vypálili ho ohňom.
1 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire; "

2 (HEM) וישבו את הנשים אשר בה מקטן ועד גדול לא המיתו איש וינהגו וילכו לדרכם׃
2 (KAT) Ženy, ktoré v ňom boli, zajali od najmenších po najväčšie. Nezabili nikoho, iba odviedli a šli svojou cestou.
2 (UKJV) And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.

3 (HEM) ויבא דוד ואנשיו אל העיר והנה שרופה באש ונשיהם ובניהם ובנתיהם נשבו׃
3 (KAT) Keď Dávid a jeho mužovia došli do mesta a videli, že je vypálené ohňom a ich ženy, synovia a dcéry sú zajaté,
3 (UKJV) "So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives. "

4 (HEM) וישא דוד והעם אשר אתו את קולם ויבכו עד אשר אין בהם כח לבכות׃
4 (KAT) pozdvihol Dávid a mužstvo, ktoré bolo s ním, hlas a plakali, až nemali už síl plakať.
4 (UKJV) Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.

5 (HEM) ושתי נשי דוד נשבו אחינעם היזרעלית ואביגיל אשת נבל הכרמלי׃
5 (KAT) Aj obe Dávidove manželky, Jezraelitka Achinoam a žena karmelského Nábala Abigail padli do zajatia.
5 (UKJV) And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

6 (HEM) ותצר לדוד מאד כי אמרו העם לסקלו כי מרה נפש כל העם איש על בנו ועל בנתיו ויתחזק דוד ביהוה אלהיו׃
6 (KAT) Dávid bol vo veľkej úzkosti, lebo mužstvo hovorilo, že ho treba ukameňovať, veď duše celého mužstva boli roztrpčené pre ich synov a dcéry. Ale Dávid sa vzmužil v Pánovi, svojom Bohu.
6 (UKJV) "And David was greatly distressed; for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. "

7 (HEM) ויאמר דוד אל אביתר הכהן בן אחימלך הגישה נא לי האפד ויגש אביתר את האפד אל דוד׃
7 (KAT) Tu Dávid povedal Achimelechovmu synovi, kňazovi Abiatarovi: „Dones mi efód!“ Abiatar doniesol Dávidovi efód
7 (UKJV) And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray you, bring me here the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.

8 (HEM) וישאל דוד ביהוה לאמר ארדף אחרי הגדוד הזה האשגנו ויאמר לו רדף כי השג תשיג והצל תציל׃
8 (KAT) a Dávid sa spýtal Pána: „Mám prenasledovať tú bandu? Dohoním ju?“ Odpovedal mu: „Prenasleduj, lebo ich isto dohoníš a všetko oslobodíš!“
8 (UKJV) And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for you shall surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

9 (HEM) וילך דוד הוא ושש מאות איש אשר אתו ויבאו עד נחל הבשור והנותרים עמדו׃
9 (KAT) Nato sa Dávid pohol, aj šesťsto mužov, ktorí boli s ním, a došli k potoku Besor. (Ostatní však ostali.)
9 (UKJV) So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed.

10 (HEM) וירדף דוד הוא וארבע מאות איש ויעמדו מאתים איש אשר פגרו מעבר את נחל הבשור׃
10 (KAT) Dávid potom prenasledoval (nepriateľa) so štyristo mužmi; dvesto mužov, ktorí boli prislabí prebrodiť rieku Besor, ostalo.
10 (UKJV) But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.

11 (HEM) וימצאו איש מצרי בשדה ויקחו אתו אל דוד ויתנו לו לחם ויאכל וישקהו מים׃
11 (KAT) Na poli našli akéhosi Egypťana. Priviedli ho k Dávidovi, dali mu chleba, aby si zajedol, a napojili ho vodou.
11 (UKJV) "And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water; "

12 (HEM) ויתנו לו פלח דבלה ושני צמקים ויאכל ותשב רוחו אליו כי לא אכל לחם ולא שתה מים שלשה ימים ושלשה לילות׃
12 (KAT) Dali mu aj kus figového koláča a dva strapce hrozienok. Keď si zajedol, vrátil sa doňho duch, lebo tri dni a tri noci nejedol chlieb a nepil vodu,
12 (UKJV) And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights.

13 (HEM) ויאמר לו דוד למי אתה ואי מזה אתה ויאמר נער מצרי אנכי עבד לאיש עמלקי ויעזבני אדני כי חליתי היום שלשה׃
13 (KAT) a Dávid sa ho opýtal: „Ku komu patríš a odkiaľ si?“ Odpovedal: „Som egyptský chlapec, otrok istého Amalekitu. Môj pán ma tu nechal, lebo som pred troma dňami ochorel.
13 (UKJV) "And David said unto him, To whom belong you? and whence are you? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I fell sick. "

14 (HEM) אנחנו פשטנו נגב הכרתי ועל אשר ליהודה ועל נגב כלב ואת צקלג שרפנו באש׃
14 (KAT) Vpadli sme na rovinu Kréťanov, na tú, čo patrí Júdovi, a na rovinu Kalebovu a Sikeleg sme vypálili ohňom.“
14 (UKJV) "We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongs to Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire. "

15 (HEM) ויאמר אליו דוד התורדני אל הגדוד הזה ויאמר השבעה לי באלהים אם תמיתני ואם תסגרני ביד אדני ואורדך אל הגדוד הזה׃
15 (KAT) Dávid sa ho opýtal: „Povedieš ma za tou bandou?“ Odpovedal: „Zaprisahaj sa mi na Boha, že ma neusmrtíš a že ma nevydáš do ruky môjho pána, tak ťa povediem za tou bandou.“
15 (UKJV) And David said to him, Can you bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear unto me by God, that you will neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring you down to this company.

16 (HEM) וירדהו והנה נטשים על פני כל הארץ אכלים ושתים וחגגים בכל השלל הגדול אשר לקחו מארץ פלשתים ומארץ יהודה׃
16 (KAT) Zaviedol ich. A hľa, rozprestierali sa po celej krajine, jedli, pili a oslavovali veľkú korisť, ktorú zobrali v krajine Filištíncov a v júdskej krajine.
16 (UKJV) And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.

17 (HEM) ויכם דוד מהנשף ועד הערב למחרתם ולא נמלט מהם איש כי אם ארבע מאות איש נער אשר רכבו על הגמלים וינסו׃
17 (KAT) A Dávid ich bil od svitu až do večera (nasledujúceho dňa) a nezachránil sa nik z nich, iba štyristo mladých mužov, ktorí vysadli na ťavy a ušli.
17 (UKJV) And David stroke them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.

18 (HEM) ויצל דוד את כל אשר לקחו עמלק ואת שתי נשיו הציל דוד׃
18 (KAT) Tak Dávid oslobodil všetko, čo zobrali Amalekiti; aj svoje dve manželky Dávid oslobodil.
18 (UKJV) And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.

19 (HEM) ולא נעדר להם מן הקטן ועד הגדול ועד בנים ובנות ומשלל ועד כל אשר לקחו להם הכל השיב דוד׃
19 (KAT) Nič sa im nestratilo, ani malé, ani veľké veci, ani synovia, ani dcéry, ani korisť, ani nič, čo im odňali; Dávid všetko doniesol naspäť.
19 (UKJV) And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

20 (HEM) ויקח דוד את כל הצאן והבקר נהגו לפני המקנה ההוא ויאמרו זה שלל דוד׃
20 (KAT) Potom Dávid vzal všetky ovce a dobytok a tí, čo ich pred ním hnali, vraveli: „Toto je Dávidova korisť.“
20 (UKJV) And David took all the flocks and the herds, which they drove before those other cattle, and said, This is David's spoil.

21 (HEM) ויבא דוד אל מאתים האנשים אשר פגרו מלכת אחרי דוד וישיבם בנחל הבשור ויצאו לקראת דוד ולקראת העם אשר אתו ויגש דוד את העם וישאל להם לשלום׃
21 (KAT) Keď Dávid prišiel k dvesto mužom, ktorí boli takí slabí, že nemohli ísť za Dávidom, a preto ich nechal pri rieke Besor, oni vyšli v ústrety Dávidovi a v ústrety mužstvu, ktoré bolo s ním. Dávid pristúpil k ľuďom a pozdravil ich.
21 (UKJV) And David came to the two hundred men, which were so faint that they could not follow David, whom they had made also to abide at the brook Besor: and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people that were with him: and when David came near to the people, he saluted them.

22 (HEM) ויען כל איש רע ובליעל מהאנשים אשר הלכו עם דוד ויאמרו יען אשר לא הלכו עמי לא נתן להם מהשלל אשר הצלנו כי אם איש את אשתו ואת בניו וינהגו וילכו׃
22 (KAT) Ale všelijakí zlí a naničhodní ľudia z mužov, čo išli s Dávidom, sa ozvali a hovorili: „Pretože nešli s nami, nedostanú z koristi, ktorú sme oslobodili; každý nech si vezme len svoju ženu a svojich synov a nech ide!“
22 (UKJV) Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away, and depart.

23 (HEM) ויאמר דוד לא תעשו כן אחי את אשר נתן יהוה לנו וישמר אתנו ויתן את הגדוד הבא עלינו בידנו׃
23 (KAT) Ale Dávid povedal: „Nerobte tak, bratia, za to, čo nám dal Pán! Zachránil nás a dal nám do ruky bandu, ktorá išla proti nám.
23 (UKJV) Then said David, All of you shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD has given us, who has preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand.

24 (HEM) ומי ישמע לכם לדבר הזה כי כחלק הירד במלחמה וכחלק הישב על הכלים יחדו יחלקו׃
24 (KAT) Ktože bude v tejto veci na vás počúvať? Veď taká istá čiastka patrí tomu, kto tiahne do boja ako tomu, kto ostáva pri batožine! Podelia sa rovnako.“
24 (UKJV) For who will hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goes down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarries by the stuff: they shall part alike.

25 (HEM) ויהי מהיום ההוא ומעלה וישמה לחק ולמשפט לישראל עד היום הזה׃
25 (KAT) A tak to bolo od toho dňa aj naďalej. Urobil to pravidlom a zákonom v Izraeli až po dnešný deň.
25 (UKJV) And it was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel unto this day.

26 (HEM) ויבא דוד אל צקלג וישלח מהשלל לזקני יהודה לרעהו לאמר הנה לכם ברכה משלל איבי יהוה׃
26 (KAT) Keď Dávid došiel do Sikelegu, poslal z koristi starším Júdu, svojim priateľom s odkazom: „Tu máte dar z koristi Pánových nepriateľov.“
26 (UKJV) "And when David came to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, Behold a present for you of the spoil of the enemies of the LORD; "

27 (HEM) לאשר בבית אל ולאשר ברמות נגב ולאשר ביתר׃
27 (KAT) Tým, čo boli v Beteli, tým, čo boli v Ráme na Rovine, tým, čo boli v Jatire,
27 (UKJV) To them which were in Bethel, and to them which were in south Ramoth, and to them which were in Jattir,

28 (HEM) ולאשר בערער ולאשר בשפמות ולאשר באשתמע׃
28 (KAT) tým, čo boli v Aroeri, tým, čo boli v Sefamote, tým, čo boli v Estamo.
28 (UKJV) And to them which were in Aroer, and to them which were in Siphmoth, and to them which were in Eshtemoa,

29 (HEM) ולאשר ברכל ולאשר בערי הירחמאלי ולאשר בערי הקיני׃
29 (KAT) Tým, čo boli v Rachali, tým, čo boli v mestách Jerameelitov, a tým, čo boli v mestách Kinejcov.
29 (UKJV) And to them which were in Rachal, and to them which were in the cities of the Jerahmeelites, and to them which were in the cities of the Kenites,

30 (HEM) ולאשר בחרמה ולאשר בבור עשן ולאשר בעתך׃
30 (KAT) Tým, čo boli v Arame, tým, čo boli v Bór-Asáne, tým, čo boli v Atachu.
30 (UKJV) And to them which were in Hormah, and to them which were in Chorashan, and to them which were in Athach,

31 (HEM) ולאשר בחברון ולכל המקמות אשר התהלך שם דוד הוא ואנשיו׃
31 (KAT) Tým, čo boli v Hebrone, a všetkým miestam, kadiaľ prechodil Dávid a jeho mužovia.
31 (UKJV) And to them which were in Hebron, and to all the places where David himself and his men were known to haunt.
