1 (KJV) Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was afraid at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee?
1 (SVD) فجاء داود الى نوب الى اخيمالك الكاهن. فاضطرب اخيمالك عند لقاء داود وقال له لماذا انت وحدك وليس معك احد.
1 (B21) David pak vyrazil na cestu, zatímco Jonatan se vrátil do města.

2 (KJV) And David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business, and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing of the business whereabout I send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I have appointed my servants to such and such a place.
2 (SVD) فقال داود لاخيمالك الكاهن ان الملك امرني بشيء وقال لي لا يعلم احد شيئا من الأمر الذي ارسلتك فيه وأمرتك به. واما الغلمان فقد عينت لهم الموضع الفلاني والفلاني.
2 (B21) Přišel do Nobu ke knězi Achimelechovi, ale toho setkání s Davidem vylekalo. "Jak to, že jsi sám?" ptal se ho. "Proč s tebou nikdo není?"

3 (KJV) Now therefore what is under thine hand? give me five loaves of bread in mine hand, or what there is present.
3 (SVD) والآن فماذا يوجد تحت يدك. اعط خمس خبزات في يدي او الموجود.
3 (B21) David knězi Achimelechovi odpověděl: "Král mi dal jistý úkol a řekl mi: ‚Ať se nikdo nedozví, proč tě posílám a čím jsem tě pověřil.' S mládenci jsem se domluvil, kde se sejdeme.

4 (KJV) And the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.
4 (SVD) فاجاب الكاهن داود وقال لا يوجد خبز محلّل تحت يدي ولكن يوجد خبز مقدس اذا كان الغلمان قد حفظوا انفسهم لا سيّما من النساء.
4 (B21) Takže, co máš po ruce? Dej mi pět chlebů anebo co se najde."

5 (KJV) And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.
5 (SVD) فاجاب داود الكاهن وقال له ان النساء قد منعت عنا منذ امس وما قبله عند خروجي وامتعة الغلمان مقدسة وهو على نوع محلّل واليوم ايضا يتقدس بالآنية.
5 (B21) "Obyčejný chléb nemám," odpověděl kněz Davidovi. "Je tu jen svatý chléb - pokud ale mládenci neměli nic se ženami."

6 (KJV) So the priest gave him hallowed bread: for there was no bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before the LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken away.
6 (SVD) فاعطاه الكاهن المقدس لانه لم يكن هناك خبز الا خبز الوجوه المرفوع من امام الرب لكي يوضع خبز سخن في يوم اخذه.
6 (B21) David mu odpověděl: "Žen jsme se opravdu ani nedotkli - jako obvykle, když jsem na válečné výpravě. Těla mládenců jsou svatá i při běžné výpravě, tím spíše tedy dnes."

7 (KJV) Now a certain man of the servants of Saul was there that day, detained before the LORD; and his name was Doeg, an Edomite, the chiefest of the herdmen that belonged to Saul.
7 (SVD) وكان هناك رجل من عبيد شاول في ذلك اليوم محصورا امام الرب اسمه دواغ الادومي رئيس رعاة شاول.
7 (B21) A tak mu kněz dal svatý chléb, protože tam jiný nebyl, pouze chleby předložení odebrané z Hospodinovy přítomnosti, aby byly téhož dne nahrazeny chlebem teplým.

8 (KJV) And David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thine hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with me, because the king's business required haste.
8 (SVD) وقال داود لاخيمالك أفما يوجد هنا تحت يدك رمح او سيف لاني لم آخذ بيدي سيفي ولا سلاحي لان امر الملك كان معجلا.
8 (B21) (Byl tam ale i jeden ze Saulových služebníků, který toho dne zůstával před Hospodinem. Jmenoval se Doeg Edomský a byl to Saulův zmocněnec nad jeho pastýři.)

9 (KJV) And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take that, take it: for there is no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that; give it me.
9 (SVD) فقال الكاهن ان سيف جليات الفلسطيني الذي قتلته في وادي البطم ها هو ملفوف في ثوب خلف الافود فان شئت ان تأخذه فخذه لانه ليس آخر سواه هنا. فقال داود لا يوجد مثله اعطني اياه
9 (B21) "A nemáš tu po ruce nějaké kopí nebo meč?" zeptal se ještě David Achimelecha. "Nevzal jsem si totiž s sebou meč ani jinou zbraň, protože králův rozkaz spěchal."

10 (KJV) And David arose, and fled that day for fear of Saul, and went to Achish the king of Gath.
10 (SVD) وقام داود وهرب في ذلك اليوم من امام شاول وجاء الى اخيش ملك جتّ.
10 (B21) Kněz odpověděl: "Je tu meč Filištína Goliáše, kterého jsi zabil v údolí Ela. Je zabalen v plášti za efodem. Jestli chceš, vezmi si ho. Žádný jiný tu nemám." Na to David řekl: "Ten je nejlepší, dej mi ho."

11 (KJV) And the servants of Achish said unto him, Is not this David the king of the land? did they not sing one to another of him in dances, saying, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
11 (SVD) فقال عبيد اخيش له أليس هذا داود ملك الارض. أليس لهذا كنّ يغنين في الرقص قائلات ضرب شاول الوفه وداود ربواته.
11 (B21) Potom David vyrazil a prchal toho dne před Saulem, až dorazil k Achišovi, králi Gatu.

12 (KJV) And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore afraid of Achish the king of Gath.
12 (SVD) فوضع داود هذا الكلام في قلبه وخاف جدا من اخيش ملك جتّ.
12 (B21) "To je přece David, král země," řekli Achišovi jeho dvořané. "To o něm se přece při tancích zpívalo: ,Saul pobil své tisíce, David desetkrát více!'"

13 (KJV) And he changed his behaviour before them, and feigned himself mad in their hands, and scrabbled on the doors of the gate, and let his spittle fall down upon his beard.
13 (SVD) فغيّر عقله في اعينهم وتظاهر بالجنون بين ايديهم واخذ يخربش على مصاريع الباب ويسيل ريقه على لحيته.
13 (B21) David si jejich slova vzal k srdci a velmi se gatského krále Achiše bál.

14 (KJV) Then said Achish unto his servants, Lo, ye see the man is mad: wherefore then have ye brought him to me?
14 (SVD) فقال اخيش لعبيده هوذا ترون الرجل مجنونا فلماذا تأتون به اليّ.
14 (B21) Protože byl v jejich moci, začal před nimi předstírat šílenství. Vyrýval značky na vrata brány a pouštěl sliny po bradě.

15 (KJV) Have I need of mad men, that ye have brought this fellow to play the mad man in my presence? shall this fellow come into my house?
15 (SVD) ألعلي محتاج الى مجانين حتى أتيتم بهذا ليتجنّن عليّ. أهذا يدخل بيتي
15 (B21) "Copak nevidíte, že je to blázen?" řekl Achiš svým dvořanům. "Proč mi ho sem vodíte?

16 (B21) Mám tu snad málo bláznů, že jste ho sem přivedli, aby mi tu bláznil? Tenhle mi má vejít do domu?"
