1 (KJV) And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
1 (SVD) فصلّت حنة وقالت. فرح قلبي بالرب. ارتفع قرني بالرب. اتسع فمي على اعدائي. لاني قد ابتهجت بخلاصك.
1 (B21) Hana se tenkrát modlila těmito slovy: "V Hospodinu se raduji srdcem svým, v Hospodinu svůj roh pozvedám. Svým protivníkům se teď zasměji, mou radostí je spása tvá.

2 (KJV) There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
2 (SVD) ليس قدوس مثل الرب. لانه ليس غيرك. وليس صخرة مثل الهنا.
2 (B21) Není svatého kromě Hospodina, ne, není nikdo jako ty, není skály, jako je náš Bůh!

3 (KJV) Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
3 (SVD) لا تكثروا الكلام العالي المستعلي ولتبرح وقاحة من افواهكم. لان الرب اله عليم. وبه توزن الاعمال.
3 (B21) Přestaňte s těmi pyšnými řečmi, povýšenost vám proudí z úst, Hospodin však je Bůh vševědoucí - on lidské skutky posoudí.

4 (KJV) The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.
4 (SVD) قسيّ الجبابرة انحطمت والضعفاء تمنطقوا بالبأس.
4 (B21) Luky siláků rozlámaly se, ti, kdo klopýtali, síly nabyli.

5 (KJV) They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
5 (SVD) الشباعى آجروا انفسهم بالخبز والجياع كفّوا. حتى ان العاقر ولدت سبعة وكثيرة البنين ذبلت.
5 (B21) Kdo byli sytí, teď pro chléb nádeničí, kdo byli hladoví, lačnět přestali. Neplodné sedm narodí se, matka mnohých však uvadne.

6 (KJV) The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
6 (SVD) الرب يميت ويحيي. يهبط الى الهاوية ويصعد.
6 (B21) Hospodin dává smrt i život, do hrobu i z hrobu uvádí.

7 (KJV) The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
7 (SVD) الرب يفقر ويغني. يضع ويرفع.
7 (B21) Sesílá bídu, dává hojnost, poníží a rovněž povýší.

8 (KJV) He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.
8 (SVD) يقيم المسكين من التراب. يرفع الفقير من المزبلة للجلوس مع الشرفاء ويملكهم كرسي المجد. لان للرب اعمدة الارض وقد وضع عليها المسكونة.
8 (B21) Chudáka umí z prachu pozvednout, ubožáka bere ze smetiště, mezi knížaty jim dává usednout, dává jim místo na čestných sedadlech. Hospodinu patří sloupy země, založil na nich celý svět.

9 (KJV) He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
9 (SVD) ارجل اتقيائه يحرس والاشرار في الظلام يصمتون. لانه ليس بالقوة يغلب انسان.
9 (B21) Kroky svých věrných opatruje, darebáci však hynou v tmě. Svou vlastní silou se nikdo neprosadí,

10 (KJV) The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
10 (SVD) مخاصمو الرب ينكسرون. من السماء يرعد عليهم. الرب يدين اقاصي الارض ويعطي عزّا لملكه ويرفع قرن مسيحه
10 (B21) Hospodinovi protivníci budou zničeni. Nejvyšší z nebe zaburácí, končiny světa bude soudit Hospodin. Hospodin silou obdaří svého krále, roh svého pomazaného pozvedne!"

11 (KJV) And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.
11 (SVD) وذهب القانة الى الرامة الى بيته. وكان الصبي يخدم الرب امام عالي الكاهن.
11 (B21) Elkána se pak vrátil domů do Rámy, ale chlapec zůstal u kněze Elího, aby sloužil Hospodinu.

12 (KJV) Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.
12 (SVD) وكان بنو عالي بني بليعال. لم يعرفوا الرب
12 (B21) Elího synové byli ničemové. Nedbali na Hospodina

13 (KJV) And the priests' custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;
13 (SVD) ولا حق الكهنة من الشعب. كلما ذبح رجل ذبيحة يجيء غلام الكاهن عند طبخ اللحم ومنشال ذو ثلاثة اسنان بيده.
13 (B21) ani na pravidla ohledně kněží a lidu. Kdykoli někdo přinesl zápalnou oběť, přišel kněžský mládenec, a jak se vařilo maso, vzal trojzubou vidlici

14 (KJV) And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.
14 (SVD) فيضرب في المرحضة او المرجل او المقلى او القدر. كل ما يصعد به المنشل يأخذه الكاهن لنفسه. هكذا كانوا يفعلون بجميع اسرائيل الآتين الى هناك في شيلوه.
14 (B21) a vrazil ji do mísy nebo do hrnce, do pánve nebo do kotle. Co vidlice vytáhla, to si kněz nechal. Takto se chovali ke všem Izraelcům, kteří přicházeli do Šíla.

15 (KJV) Also before they burnt the fat, the priest's servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.
15 (SVD) كذلك قبل ما يحرقون الشحم ياتي غلام الكاهن ويقول للرجل الذابح اعط لحما ليشوى للكاهن. فانه لا ياخذ منك لحما مطبوخا بل نيئا.
15 (B21) Kněžský mládenec navíc přicházel, ještě než se zapálil tuk, a říkal tomu, kdo obětoval: "Odevzdej knězi maso na pečení. Vařené maso od tebe nevezme, jenom syrové."

16 (KJV) And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.
16 (SVD) فيقول له الرجل ليحرقوا اولا الشحم ثم خذ ما تشتهيه نفسك. فيقول له لا بل الآن تعطي والا فآخذ غصبا.
16 (B21) Když ten člověk namítal: "Nejdříve se přece má zapálit tuk; potom si vezmi, co chceš," kněz odpovídal: "Ne. Dej mi to hned. Když nedáš, zabavím to násilím!"

17 (KJV) Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.
17 (SVD) فكانت خطية الغلمان عظيمة جدا امام الرب. لان الناس استهانوا تقدمة الرب
17 (B21) Tak se ti mladíci dopouštěli před Hospodinem hrozného hříchu, protože znevažovali Hospodinovy oběti.

18 (KJV) But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod.
18 (SVD) وكان صموئيل يخدم امام الرب وهو صبي متمنطق بافود من كتان.
18 (B21) Tehdy před Hospodinem sloužil Samuel, hošík oblečený plátěným efodem.

19 (KJV) Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.
19 (SVD) وعملت له امه جبة صغيرة واصعدتها له من سنة الى سنة عند صعودها مع رجلها لذبح الذبيحة السنوية.
19 (B21) Matka mu dělávala i kabátek a každoročně mu ho přinášela, když přicházela se svým mužem přinést výroční oběť.

20 (KJV) And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.
20 (SVD) وبارك عالي القانة وامرأته وقال يجعل لك الرب نسلا من هذه المرأة بدل العارية التي اعارت للرب. وذهبا الى مكانهما.
20 (B21) Elí žehnal Elkánovi i jeho ženě se slovy: "Kéž Hospodin dá, abys měl s touto ženou potomky místo toho vyžádaného dítěte, které odevzdala Hospodinu." A tak se vraceli domů.

21 (KJV) And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.
21 (SVD) ولما افتقد الرب حنّة حبلت وولدت ثلاثة بنين وبنتين. وكبر الصبي صموئيل عند الرب
21 (B21) Hospodin pak Hanu navštívil svou milostí, takže počala a porodila tři syny a dvě dcery. Mládenec Samuel ale vyrůstal u Hospodina.

22 (KJV) Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22 (SVD) وشاخ عالي جدا وسمع بكل ما عمله بنوه بجميع اسرائيل وبانهم كانوا يضاجعون النساء المجتمعات في باب خيمة الاجتماع.
22 (B21) Elí byl už velmi starý. Slýchával o všem, co prováděli jeho synové celému Izraeli, i o tom, jak spali se ženami sloužícími u vchodu do Stanu setkávání.

23 (KJV) And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.
23 (SVD) فقال لهم لماذا تعملون مثل هذه الامور. لاني اسمع باموركم الخبيثة من جميع هذا الشعب.
23 (B21) "Co to provádíte?" říkal jim. "Ode všech lidí se o vás doslýchám hrozné věci.

24 (KJV) Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD's people to transgress.
24 (SVD) لا يا بني لانه ليس حسنا الخبر الذي اسمع. تجعلون شعب الرب يتعدون.
24 (B21) To ne, synové moji! Slyším nedobré zprávy - vždyť svádíte Hospodinův lid!

25 (KJV) If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.
25 (SVD) اذا اخطأ انسان الى انسان يدينه الله فان اخطأ انسان الى الرب فمن يصلي من اجله. ولم يسمعوا لصوت ابيهم لان الرب شاء ان يميتهم.
25 (B21) Hřeší-li člověk proti člověku, Bůh může zasáhnout. Hřeší-li ale člověk proti Hospodinu, kdo se ho zastane?" Oni ale na otcova slova vůbec nedali, neboť Hospodinova vůle byla, aby zemřeli.

26 (KJV) And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.
26 (SVD) واما الصبي صموئيل فتزايد نموا وصلاحا لدى الرب والناس ايضا
26 (B21) Chlapec Samuel však prospíval, rostl a byl milý jak Hospodinu, tak i lidem.

27 (KJV) And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house?
27 (SVD) وجاء رجل الله الى عالي وقال له. هكذا يقول الرب. هل تجليت لبيت ابيك وهم في مصر في بيت فرعون
27 (B21) Za Elím přišel Boží muž a řekl mu: "Tak praví Hospodin: Cožpak jsem se neukázal rodu tvého praotce, když ještě byli otroci faraonova domu v Egyptě?

28 (KJV) And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?
28 (SVD) وانتخبته من جميع اسباط اسرائيل لي كاهنا ليصعد على مذبحي ويوقد بخورا ويلبس افودا امامي ودفعت لبيت ابيك جميع وقائد بني اسرائيل.
28 (B21) Právě jeho jsem si ze všech izraelských kmenů vyvolil za kněze, aby vystupoval k mému oltáři, aby pálil kadidlo a nosil přede mnou efod. Rodu tvého praotce jsem svěřil všechny ohnivé oběti synů Izraele.

29 (KJV) Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?
29 (SVD) فلماذا تدوسون ذبيحتي وتقدمتي التي امرت بها في المسكن وتكرم بنيك عليّ لكي تسمنوا انفسكم باوائل كل تقدمات اسرائيل شعبي.
29 (B21) Proč tedy pošlapáváte mé oběti a dary, které jsem určil Příbytku? Svých synů si vážíš více nežli mě. Vykrmili jste se tím nejlepším z obětních darů mého lidu Izraele!

30 (KJV) Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
30 (SVD) لذلك يقول الرب اله اسرائيل. اني قلت ان بيتك وبيت ابيك يسيرون امامي الى الابد. والآن يقول الرب حاشا لي. فاني اكرم الذين يكرمونني والذين يحتقرونني يصغرون.
30 (B21) Nuže, tak praví Hospodin, Bůh Izraele: Ano, řekl jsem, že tvůj dům a tvůj otcovský rod zůstanou v mé službě navěky. Teď ale Hospodin praví: V žádném případě! Ty, kdo mě ctí, totiž poctím; ty, kdo mě znevažují, však zostudím.

31 (KJV) Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.
31 (SVD) هوذا تأتي ايام اقطع فيها ذراعك وذراع بيت ابيك حتى لا يكون شيخ في بيتك.
31 (B21) Hle, přicházejí dny, kdy zlomím tvou moc a moc tvého otcovského rodu! Nikdo v tvém domě se nedočká stáří.

32 (KJV) And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.
32 (SVD) وترى ضيق المسكن في كل ما يحسن به الى اسرائيل ولا يكون شيخ في بيتك كل الايام.
32 (B21) Uvidíš soužení, jež dolehne na můj Příbytek. Ačkoli se Izraeli přihodí mnoho dobrého, ve tvém rodu se nikdo nedočká stáří.

33 (KJV) And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.
33 (SVD) ورجل لك لا اقطعه من امام مذبحي يكون لاكلال عينيك وتذويب نفسك. وجميع ذرية بيتك يموتون شبانا.
33 (B21) I pokud někoho z vás neodetnu od svého oltáře, oči mu vyhasnou a jeho duše se usouží. Celé to množství tvých potomků zemře předčasně.

34 (KJV) And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.
34 (SVD) وهذه لك علامة تاتي على ابنيك حفني وفينحاس. في يوم واحد يموتان كلاهما.
34 (B21) To, co se stane tvým dvěma synům Chofnimu a Pinchasovi, ti bude znamením: oba zemřou v jediný den.

35 (KJV) And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
35 (SVD) واقيم لنفسي كاهنا امينا يعمل حسب ما بقلبي ونفسي وابني له بيتا امينا فيسير امام مسيحي كل الايام.
35 (B21) Já si pak vzbudím věrného kněze, který bude jednat podle mého srdce a podle mé duše. Jemu zbuduji trvalý dům a zůstane ve službě před mým pomazaným navždycky.

36 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.
36 (SVD) ويكون ان كل من يبقى في بيتك يأتي ليسجد له لاجل قطعة فضة ورغيف خبز ويقول ضمني الى احدى وظائف الكهنوت لآكل كسرة خبز
36 (B21) Každý, kdo bude zanechán z tvého domu, se mu půjde poklonit za kousek stříbra, za bochník chleba a řekne: ‚Zařaď mě, prosím, někam mezi kněží, ať mám alespoň co jíst!'"
