1 (KJV) Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephes-dammim.
1 (SVD) وجمع الفلسطينيون جيوشهم للحرب فاجتمعوا في سوكوه التي ليهوذا ونزلوا بين سوكوه وعزيقة في أفس دمّيم.
1 (B21) Filištíni tehdy spojili svá vojska a vytáhli do boje. Shromáždili se u judského Socha a utábořili se v Efes-danimu mezi Sochem a Azekou.

2 (KJV) And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against the Philistines.
2 (SVD) واجتمع شاول ورجال اسرائيل ونزلوا في وادي البطم واصطفوا للحرب للقاء الفلسطينيين.
2 (B21) Také Saul a izraelští muži se shromáždili. Utábořili se v údolí Ela a sešikovali se k bitvě proti Filištínům.

3 (KJV) And the Philistines stood on a mountain on the one side, and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side: and there was a valley between them.
3 (SVD) وكان الفلسطينيون وقوفا على جبل من هنا واسرائيل وقوفا على جبل من هناك والوادي بينهم.
3 (B21) Filištíni stáli na jednom kopci, Izraelci na protějším a mezi nimi bylo údolí.

4 (KJV) And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
4 (SVD) فخرج رجل مبارز من جيوش الفلسطينيين اسمه جليات من جتّ طوله ست اذرع وشبر.
4 (B21) Z filištínského tábora vystoupil jejich zápasník jménem Goliáš z Gatu. Byl vysoký šest loktů a píď.

5 (KJV) And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass.
5 (SVD) وعلى راسه خوذة من نحاس وكان لابسا درعا حرشفيا ووزن الدرع خمسة آلاف شاقل نحاس.
5 (B21) Na hlavě měl bronzovou přilbu. Oblečen byl do bronzového šupinatého pancíře o váze 5 000 šekelů.

6 (KJV) And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders.
6 (SVD) وجرموقا نحاس على رجليه ومزراق نحاس بين كتفيه.
6 (B21) Na nohou měl bronzové chrániče a na zádech bronzovou šavli.

7 (KJV) And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.
7 (SVD) وقناة رمحه كنول النساجين وسنان رمحه ست مئة شاقل حديد وحامل الترس كان يمشي قدامه.
7 (B21) Jeho kopí mělo násadu jako tkalcovské vratidlo a železný hrot o váze 600 šekelů. Před ním šel štítonoš.

8 (KJV) And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.
8 (SVD) فوقف ونادى صفوف اسرائيل وقال لهم لماذا تخرجون لتصطفوا للحرب. اما انا الفلسطيني وانتم عبيد لشاول. اختاروا لانفسكم رجلا ولينزل اليّ.
8 (B21) Goliáš se stavěl před izraelské šiky a volal na ně: "Proč jste sem přišli? Šikujete se do boje? Já jsem přece Filištín a vy jste Saulovi sluhové. Vyberte si někoho, ať přijde sem ke mně.

9 (KJV) If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us.
9 (SVD) فان قدر ان يحاربني ويقتلني نصير لكم عبيدا. وان قدرت انا عليه وقتلته تصيرون انتم لنا عبيدا وتخدموننا.
9 (B21) Jestli mě v boji přemůže a zabije, budeme vám sloužit. A jestli já přemůžu a zabiju jeho, budete jako naši otroci sloužit vy nám."

10 (KJV) And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.
10 (SVD) وقال الفلسطيني انا عيّرت صفوف اسرائيل هذا اليوم. اعطوني رجلا فنتحارب معا.
10 (B21) Potom ten Filištín dodal: "Vyzývám dnes izraelské šiky: Dejte mi někoho, kdo se mnou půjde na souboj!"

11 (KJV) When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.
11 (SVD) ولما سمع شاول وجميع اسرائيل كلام الفلسطيني هذا ارتاعوا وخافوا جدا
11 (B21) Když Saul s celým Izraelem slyšeli slova onoho Filištína, byli zděšeni a hrozně se báli.

12 (KJV) Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehemjudah, whose name was Jesse; and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul.
12 (SVD) وداود هو ابن ذلك الرجل الافراتي من بيت لحم يهوذا الذي اسمه يسّى وله ثمانية بنين. وكان الرجل في ايام شاول قد شاخ وكبر بين الناس.
12 (B21) David byl synem onoho Efratejce z judského Betléma jménem Jišaj, který měl osm synů. Ten byl v Saulově době už příliš starý,

13 (KJV) And the three eldest sons of Jesse went and followed Saul to the battle: and the names of his three sons that went to the battle were Eliab the firstborn, and next unto him Abinadab, and the third Shammah.
13 (SVD) وذهب بنو يسّى الثلاثة الكبار وتبعوا شاول الى الحرب. واسماء بنيه الثلاثة الذين ذهبوا الى الحرب اليآب البكر وابيناداب ثانيه وشمّة ثالثهما.
13 (B21) ale jeho tři nejstarší synové táhli se Saulem do války. Prvorozený se jmenoval Eliab, druhý Abinadab a třetí Šama - tito tři odešli do války.

14 (KJV) And David was the youngest: and the three eldest followed Saul.
14 (SVD) وداود هو الصغير والثلاثة الكبار ذهبوا وراء شاول.
14 (B21) David byl ale nejmladší. Tři nejstarší odešli se Saulem,

15 (KJV) But David went and returned from Saul to feed his father's sheep at Bethlehem.
15 (SVD) واما داود فكان يذهب ويرجع من عند شاول ليرعى غنم ابيه في بيت لحم
15 (B21) kdežto David se musel od Saula vrátit do Betléma pást ovce svého otce.

16 (KJV) And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.
16 (SVD) وكان الفلسطيني يتقدم ويقف صباحا ومساء اربعين يوما.
16 (B21) Filištín zatím po čtyřicet dnů každé ráno i večer přicházel a předváděl se.

17 (KJV) And Jesse said unto David his son, Take now for thy brethren an ephah of this parched corn, and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to thy brethren;
17 (SVD) فقال يسّى لداود ابنه خذ لاخوتك ايفة من هذا الفريك وهذه العشر الخبزات واركض الى المحلّة الى اخوتك.
17 (B21) Jednou řekl Jišaj svému synu Davidovi: "Vezmi svým bratřím tady efu praženého zrní a těchto deset chlebů a běž to odnést do tábora svým bratrům.

18 (KJV) And carry these ten cheeses unto the captain of their thousand, and look how thy brethren fare, and take their pledge.
18 (SVD) وهذه العشر القطعات من الجبن قدمها لرئيس الالف وافتقد سلامة اخوتك وخذ منهم عربونا.
18 (B21) Tady těch deset kusů sýra vezmi pro velitele jejich oddílu. Navštiv své bratry, vyřiď jim pozdrav a přines od nich zprávy.

19 (KJV) Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines.
19 (SVD) وكان شاول وهم وجميع رجال اسرائيل في وادي البطم يحاربون الفلسطينيين
19 (B21) Jsou se Saulem a se všemi izraelskými muži v údolí Ela a bojují s Filištíny."

20 (KJV) And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.
20 (SVD) فبكر داود صباحا وترك الغنم مع حارس وحمل وذهب كما امره يسّى واتى الى المتراس والجيش خارج الى الاصطفاف وهتفوا للحرب.
20 (B21) David tedy ráno vstal, svěřil ovce hlídači, všechno to vzal a šel, jak mu Jišaj přikázal. Dorazil k okraji tábora, právě když vojsko v šiku vyráželo s válečným pokřikem.

21 (KJV) For Israel and the Philistines had put the battle in array, army against army.
21 (SVD) واصطف اسرائيل والفلسطينيون صفا مقابل صف.
21 (B21) Izraelci i Filištíni se seřadili, jeden šik proti druhému.

22 (KJV) And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his brethren.
22 (SVD) فترك داود الامتعة التي معه بيد حافظ الامتعة وركض الى الصف وأتى وسأل عن سلامة اخوته.
22 (B21) David nechal své věci u hlídače zásob a běžel k šiku. Když tam dorazil, ptal se bratrů, jak se mají.

23 (KJV) And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them.
23 (SVD) وفيما هو يكلمهم اذا برجل مبارز اسمه جليات الفلسطيني من جتّ صاعد من صفوف الفلسطينيين وتكلم بمثل هذا الكلام فسمع داود.
23 (B21) Ještě s nimi mluvil, když vtom z filištínských řad vystoupil jejich zápasník jménem Goliáš z Gatu. Vykřikoval tak jako předtím a David to slyšel.

24 (KJV) And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.
24 (SVD) وجميع رجال اسرائيل لما رأوا الرجل هربوا منه وخافوا جدا.
24 (B21) Jakmile Izraelci toho muže spatřili, všichni se před ním v hrozném strachu dali na útěk.

25 (KJV) And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father's house free in Israel.
25 (SVD) فقال رجال اسرائيل. أرأيتم هذا الرجل الصاعد. ليعيّر اسرائيل هو صاعد. فيكون ان الرجل الذي يقتله يغنيه الملك غنى جزيلا ويعطيه بنته ويجعل بيت ابيه حرا في اسرائيل
25 (B21) "Vidíte toho muže, co vystoupil?" říkali Izraelci. "Jde urážet Izrael. Kdyby ho někdo zabil, král by ho zahrnul spoustou bohatství, dal by mu svou dceru a jeho otcovský rod by v Izraeli osvobodil od daní."

26 (KJV) And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?
26 (SVD) فكلم داود الرجال الواقفين معه قائلا ماذا يفعل للرجل الذي يقتل ذلك الفلسطيني ويزيل العار عن اسرائيل. لانه من هو هذا الفلسطيني الاغلف حتى يعيّر صفوف الله الحي.
26 (B21) David se mužů kolem sebe zeptal: "Cože dostane ten, kdo toho Filištína zabije a zbaví Izrael té ostudy? Kdo je tenhle filištínský neobřezanec, že uráží šiky živého Boha?"

27 (KJV) And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him.
27 (SVD) فكلمه الشعب بمثل هذا الكلام قائلين كذا يفعل للرجل الذي يقتله.
27 (B21) Muži mu tedy pověděli stejně jako předtím, co čeká toho, kdo by ho zabil.

28 (KJV) And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
28 (SVD) وسمع اخوه الاكبر اليآب كلامه مع الرجال فحمي غضب اليآب على داود وقال لماذا نزلت وعلى من تركت تلك الغنيمات القليلة في البرية. انا علمت كبرياءك وشر قلبك لانك انما نزلت لكي ترى الحرب.
28 (B21) Jeho nejstarší bratr Eliab ale zaslechl, jak s nimi mluví, a hrozně se na Davida rozhněval: "Proč jsi sem vlastně přišel? A komu jsi svěřil těch pár ovcí na poušti? Znám tu tvou drzost a zlomyslnost! Přišel ses podívat na bitvu, co?"

29 (KJV) And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?
29 (SVD) فقال داود ماذا عملت الآن. أما هو كلام.
29 (B21) "Co jsem zase provedl? To se nemůžu zeptat?" bránil se David.

30 (KJV) And he turned from him toward another, and spake after the same manner: and the people answered him again after the former manner.
30 (SVD) وتحول من عنده نحو آخر وتكلم بمثل هذا الكلام فرد له الشعب جوابا كالجواب الاول.
30 (B21) Potom se obrátil na dalšího se stejnou otázkou a muži mu odpovídali právě tak jako předtím.

31 (KJV) And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.
31 (SVD) وسمع الكلام الذي تكلم به داود واخبروا به امام شاول. فاستحضره.
31 (B21) To, co David říkal, se rozneslo. Ohlásili to i Saulovi a ten si ho dal zavolat.

32 (KJV) And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
32 (SVD) فقال داود لشاول لا يسقط قلب احد بسببه. عبدك يذهب ويحارب هذا الفلسطيني.
32 (B21) "Ať se toho Filištína nikdo neleká!" řekl David Saulovi. "Tvůj služebník půjde a bude se s ním bít."

33 (KJV) And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
33 (SVD) فقال شاول لداود لا تستطيع ان تذهب لهذا الفلسطيني لتحاربه لانك غلام وهو رجل حرب منذ صباه.
33 (B21) "Nemůžeš se s tím Filištínem bít," namítl mu Saul. "Jsi ještě chlapec a on je bojovník už odmalička."

34 (KJV) And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
34 (SVD) فقال داود لشاول كان عبدك يرعى لابيه غنما فجاء اسد مع دب واخذ شاة من القطيع.
34 (B21) David mu odpověděl: "Tvůj služebník byl pastýřem ovcí svého otce. Když přišel lev nebo medvěd a vzal ze stáda ovci,

35 (KJV) And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
35 (SVD) فخرجت وراءه وقتلته وانقذتها من فيه ولما قام عليّ امسكته من ذقنه وضربته فقتلته.
35 (B21) pustil jsem se za ním, srazil jsem ho a vyrval mu ji z tlamy. A když se vrhl na mě, chytil jsem ho za hřívu a tloukl ho, dokud jsem ho nezabil.

36 (KJV) Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
36 (SVD) قتل عبدك الاسد والدب جميعا. وهذا الفلسطيني الاغلف يكون كواحد منهما لانه قد عيّر صفوف الله الحي.
36 (B21) Tvůj služebník už zabil lva i medvěda. A tenhle filištínský neobřezanec dopadne stejně, protože urážel šiky živého Boha,"

37 (KJV) David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
37 (SVD) وقال داود الرب الذي انقذني من يد الاسد ومن يد الدب هو ينقذني من يد هذا الفلسطيني. فقال شاول لداود اذهب وليكن الرب معك.
37 (B21) pokračoval David. "Hospodin, který mě vysvobodil ze spárů lva i medvěda, mě vysvobodí i ze spárů toho Filištína." "Tak tedy jdi," řekl na to Saul Davidovi. "Kéž je Hospodin s tebou!"

38 (KJV) And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail.
38 (SVD) وألبس شاول داود ثيابه وجعل خوذة من نحاس على راسه وألبسه درعا.
38 (B21) Saul pak Davida nechal obléci do svých šatů, na hlavu mu nasadil bronzovou přilbu a oblékl mu pancíř.

39 (KJV) And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.
39 (SVD) فتقلد داود بسيفه فوق ثيابه وعزم ان يمشي لانه لم يكن قد جرب. فقال داود لشاول لا اقدر ان امشي بهذه لاني لم اجربها. ونزعها داود عنه.
39 (B21) David si na ty jeho šaty připásal také jeho meč a chtěl jít, jenže na to nebyl zvyklý, a tak Saulovi řekl: "V tom jít nemůžu. Nejsem na to zvyklý," a svlékl to ze sebe.

40 (KJV) And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
40 (SVD) واخذ عصاه بيده وانتخب له خمسة حجارة ملس من الوادي وجعلها في كنف الرعاة الذي له اي في الجراب ومقلاعه بيده وتقدم نحو الفلسطيني.
40 (B21) Pak si vzal svou hůl, vybral si pět oblázků z potoka, vložil je do kapsy ve své pastýřské mošně, do ruky vzal prak a vyrazil na Filištína.

41 (KJV) And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him.
41 (SVD) وذهب الفلسطيني ذاهبا واقترب الى داود والرجل حامل الترس امامه.
41 (B21) Filištín, vpředu se svým štítonošem, vyrazil proti Davidovi.

42 (KJV) And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.
42 (SVD) ولما نظر الفلسطيني ورأى داود استحقره لانه كان غلاما واشقر جميل المنظر.
42 (B21) Jakmile si ho všiml, pohrdavě si ho prohlédl. Byl to přece ještě chlapec, takový pohledný zrzek.

43 (KJV) And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
43 (SVD) فقال الفلسطيني لداود ألعلي انا كلب حتى انك تأتي اليّ بعصيّ. ولعن الفلسطيني داود بآلهته.
43 (B21) "Copak jsem pes, že na mě jdeš s holí?" křikl Filištín na Davida a začal ho proklínat při svých bozích.

44 (KJV) And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.
44 (SVD) وقال الفلسطيني لداود تعال اليّ فاعطي لحمك لطيور السماء ووحوش البرية.
44 (B21) "Pojď ke mně," hulákal na Davida, "a nechám tvé tělo ptákům a divoké zvěři!"

45 (KJV) Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
45 (SVD) فقال داود للفلسطيني انت تاتي اليّ بسيف وبرمح وبترس. وانا آتي اليك باسم رب الجنود اله صفوف اسرائيل الذين عيّرتهم.
45 (B21) David mu ale odpověděl: "Ty proti mně jdeš s mečem, kopím a šavlí, ale já jdu proti tobě ve jménu Hospodina zástupů, Boha izraelských šiků, které jsi urážel.

46 (KJV) This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
46 (SVD) هذا اليوم يحبسك الرب في يدي فاقتلك واقطع راسك. واعطي جثث جيش الفلسطينيين هذا اليوم لطيور السماء وحيوانات الارض فتعلم كل الارض انه يوجد اله لاسرائيل.
46 (B21) Dnes tě Hospodin sevře do mé ruky, zabiju tě a useknu ti hlavu. Mrtvoly filištínského vojska dnes nechám ptákům a divoké zvěři, takže celá zem pozná, že Bůh je s Izraelem.

47 (KJV) And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.
47 (SVD) وتعلم هذه الجماعة كلها انه ليس بسيف ولا برمح يخلّص الرب لان الحرب للرب وهو يدفعكم ليدنا.
47 (B21) Všichni, kdo se tu shromáždili, poznají, že ne mečem ani kopím vysvobozuje Hospodin. Toto je Hospodinův boj a on vás vydá do našich rukou!"

48 (KJV) And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
48 (SVD) وكان لما قام الفلسطيني وذهب وتقدم للقاء داود ان داود اسرع وركض نحو الصف للقاء الفلسطيني.
48 (B21) Jakmile Filištín vykročil a zamířil k Davidovi, aby ho napadl, David rychle vyběhl z řady proti němu.

49 (KJV) And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
49 (SVD) ومد داود يده الى الكنف واخذ منه حجرا ورماه بالمقلاع وضرب الفلسطيني في جبهته فارتزّ الحجر في جبهته وسقط على وجهه الى الارض.
49 (B21) Sáhl rukou do mošny, vzal odtud kámen, vystřelil z praku a zasáhl Filištína do čela. Kámen se mu zaryl do čela a on se skácel tváří k zemi.

50 (KJV) So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
50 (SVD) فتمكن داود من الفلسطيني بالمقلاع والحجر وضرب الفلسطيني وقتله. ولم يكن سيف بيد داود.
50 (B21) Tak David přemohl onoho Filištína prakem a kamenem. Zasáhl Filištína a zabil ho, i když neměl žádný meč.

51 (KJV) Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.
51 (SVD) فركض داود ووقف على الفلسطيني واخذ سيفه واخترطه من غمده وقتله وقطع به راسه. فلما رأى الفلسطينيون ان جبارهم قد مات هربوا.
51 (B21) Potom David přiběhl a stanul nad Filištínem, chytil jeho meč, vytáhl ho z pochvy a dorazil ho; usekl mu hlavu. Když Filištíni viděli, že jejich hrdina padl, dali se na útěk.

52 (KJV) And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.
52 (SVD) فقام رجال اسرائيل ويهوذا وهتفوا ولحقوا الفلسطينيين حتى مجيئك الى الوادي وحتى ابواب عقرون. فسقطت قتلى الفلسطينيين في طريق شعرايم الى جتّ والى عقرون.
52 (B21) Izraelští a judští muži vyrazili za nimi a s pokřikem hnali Filištíny až ke vchodu do Gatu a k samým branám Ekronu. Filištínští padlí leželi podél cesty k Šaarimu a také až ke Gatu a Ekronu.

53 (KJV) And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents.
53 (SVD) ثم رجع بنو اسرائيل من الاحتماء وراء الفلسطينيين ونهبوا محلّتهم.
53 (B21) Když se synové Izraele vrátili z honby za Filištíny, vyplenili jejich tábořiště.

54 (KJV) And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.
54 (SVD) واخذ داود راس الفلسطيني. وأتى به الى اورشليم. ووضع ادواته في خيمته
54 (B21) David potom vzal hlavu toho Filištína, přenesl ji do Jeruzaléma a jeho zbroj uložil ve svém stanu.

55 (KJV) And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son is this youth? And Abner said, As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell.
55 (SVD) ولما رأى شاول داود خارجا للقاء الفلسطيني قال لابنير رئيس الجيش ابن من هذا الغلام يا ابنير. فقال ابنير وحياتك ايها الملك لست اعلم.
55 (B21) Když Saul viděl Davida, jak jde na Filištína, zeptal se svého vojevůdce Abnera: "Čí syn je ten chlapec, Abnere?" "Jakože jsi živ, králi, nevím," odpověděl Abner.

56 (KJV) And the king said, Inquire thou whose son the stripling is.
56 (SVD) فقال الملك اسأل ابن من هذا الغلام.
56 (B21) "Vyptej se na toho mladíka, čí je syn," poručil král.

57 (KJV) And as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, Abner took him, and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand.
57 (SVD) ولما رجع داود من قتل الفلسطيني اخذه ابنير واحضره امام شاول وراس الفلسطيني بيده.
57 (B21) Jakmile se David po zabití toho Filištína vrátil, Abner ho vzal a přivedl před Saula. Hlavu Filištína ještě držel v ruce.

58 (KJV) And Saul said to him, Whose son art thou, thou young man? And David answered, I am the son of thy servant Jesse the Bethlehemite.
58 (SVD) فقال له شاول ابن من انت يا غلام. فقال داود ابن عبدك يسّى البيتلحمي
58 (B21) "Čípak jsi syn, chlapče?" zeptal se ho Saul. "Syn tvého služebníka Jišaje Betlémského," odpověděl David.
