1. kniha Samuelova

1 (KJV) Then Nahash the Ammonite came up, and encamped against Jabesh-gilead: and all the men of Jabesh said unto Nahash, Make a covenant with us, and we will serve thee.
1 (SVD) وصعد ناحاش العموني ونزل على يابيش جلعاد. فقال جميع اهل يابيش لناحاش اقطع لنا عهدا فنستعبد لك.
1 (B21) Potom přitáhl Nachaš Amonský a utábořil se proti Jábeš-gileádu. Všichni obyvatelé Jábeše Nachašovi vzkázali: "Uzavři s námi smlouvu a budeme ti sloužit."

2 (KJV) And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and lay it for a reproach upon all Israel.
2 (SVD) فقال لهم ناحاش العموني بهذا اقطع لكم. بتقوير كل عين يمنى لكم وجعل ذلك عارا على جميع اسرائيل.
2 (B21) Nachaš Amonský jim ale odpověděl: "Uzavřu ji s vámi tak, že každému z vás vyloupnu pravé oko, abych potupil celý Izrael."

3 (KJV) And the elders of Jabesh said unto him, Give us seven days' respite, that we may send messengers unto all the coasts of Israel: and then, if there be no man to save us, we will come out to thee.
3 (SVD) فقال له شيوخ يابيش اتركنا سبعة ايام فنرسل رسلا الى جميع تخوم اسرائيل. فان لم يوجد من يخلّصنا نخرج اليك.
3 (B21) Stařešinové z Jábeše ho požádali: "Dej nám sedm dní, ať rozešleme posly do celého Izraele. Pokud nás nikdo nepřijde zachránit, vzdáme se ti."

4 (KJV) Then came the messengers to Gibeah of Saul, and told the tidings in the ears of the people: and all the people lifted up their voices, and wept.
4 (SVD) فجاء الرسل الى جبعة شاول وتكلموا بهذا الكلام في آذان الشعب فرفع كل الشعب اصواتهم وبكوا.
4 (B21) Když pak ti poslové přišli do Gibeje Saulovy a vyprávěli to všechno lidu, dali se všichni do hlasitého pláče.

5 (KJV) And, behold, Saul came after the herd out of the field; and Saul said, What aileth the people that they weep? And they told him the tidings of the men of Jabesh.
5 (SVD) واذا بشاول آت وراء البقر من الحقل. فقال شاول ما بال الشعب يبكون. فقصّوا عليه كلام اهل يابيش.
5 (B21) Saul se právě vracel se svým dobytkem z pole. "Co je lidem, že pláčou?" ptal se. A tak mu vyprávěli, co říkali obyvatelé Jábeše.

6 (KJV) And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly.
6 (SVD) فحلّ روح الله على شاول عندما سمع هذا الكلام وحمي غضبه جدا.
6 (B21) Jakmile Saul ta slova uslyšel, zmocnil se ho Duch Hospodinův a vzplanul nesmírným hněvem.

7 (KJV) And he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh not forth after Saul and after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And the fear of the LORD fell on the people, and they came out with one consent.
7 (SVD) فاخذ فدان بقر وقطّعه وارسل الى كل تخوم اسرائيل بيد الرسل قائلا من لا يخرج وراء شاول ووراء صموئيل فهكذا يفعل ببقره. فوقع رعب الرب على الشعب فخرجوا كرجل واحد.
7 (B21) Vzal jeden pár volů, rozsekal je na kusy a rozeslal po těch poslech do celého Izraele se slovy: "Takhle dopadne dobytek toho, kdo nejde se Saulem a Samuelem!" Na lid padla hrůza z Hospodina a vytáhli jako jeden muž.

8 (KJV) And when he numbered them in Bezek, the children of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.
8 (SVD) وعدّهم في بازق فكان بنو اسرائيل ثلاث مئة الف ورجال يهوذا ثلاثين الفا.
8 (B21) Nechal je nastoupit v Bezeku: Izraelců bylo 300 000 a judských mužů 30 000.

9 (KJV) And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabesh-gilead, To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed it to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad.
9 (SVD) وقالوا للرسل الذين جاءوا هكذا تقولون لاهل يابيش جلعاد. غدا عندما تحمى الشمس يكون لكم خلاص. فأتى الرسل واخبروا اهل يابيش ففرحوا.
9 (B21) Poslům, kteří za nimi přišli, pak řekli: "Toto vzkažte obyvatelům Jábeš-gileádu: Zítra okolo poledne k vám přijde záchrana." Poslové se tedy vrátili a oznámili to obyvatelům Jábeše. Ti se zaradovali

10 (KJV) Therefore the men of Jabesh said, To morrow we will come out unto you, and ye shall do with us all that seemeth good unto you.
10 (SVD) وقال اهل يابيش غدا نخرج اليكم فتفعلون بنا حسب كل ما يحسن في اعينكم
10 (B21) a vzkázali Amoncům: "Zítra se vám vzdáme a vy s námi naložíte, jak uznáte za vhodné."

11 (KJV) And it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it came to pass, that they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were not left together.
11 (SVD) وكان في الغد ان شاول جعل الشعب ثلاث فرق ودخلوا في وسط المحلّة عند سحر الصبح وضربوا العمونيين حتى حمي النهار. والذين بقوا تشتتوا حتى لم يبق منهم اثنان معا.
11 (B21) Druhého dne Saul rozdělil své muže do tří oddílů. Během poslední hlídky nad ránem vpadli do tábora a pobíjeli Amonce až do poledne. Nějací zbyli, ale ti se rozutekli, takže z nich nezůstali ani dva pospolu.

12 (KJV) And the people said unto Samuel, Who is he that said, Shall Saul reign over us? bring the men, that we may put them to death.
12 (SVD) وقال الشعب لصموئيل من هم الذين يقولون هل شاول يملك علينا. ائتوا بالرجال فنقتلهم.
12 (B21) Lid tehdy řekl Samuelovi: "Kdo že se ptal: ‚To nám bude kralovat Saul?' Dej nám ty muže, ať je zabijeme!"

13 (KJV) And Saul said, There shall not a man be put to death this day: for to day the LORD hath wrought salvation in Israel.
13 (SVD) فقال شاول لا يقتل احد في هذا اليوم لانه في هذا اليوم صنع الرب خلاصا في اسرائيل
13 (B21) Saul ale prohlásil: "V tento den nebude nikdo zabit; Hospodin dnes přece Izraeli daroval vítězství."

14 (KJV) Then said Samuel to the people, Come, and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there.
14 (SVD) وقال صموئيل للشعب هلموا نذهب الى الجلجال ونجدد هناك المملكة.
14 (B21) Samuel nato řekl lidu: "Pojďme teď do Gilgalu a potvrdíme tam království."

15 (KJV) And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly.
15 (SVD) فذهب كل الشعب الى الجلجال وملّكوا هناك شاول امام الرب في الجلجال وذبحوا هناك ذبائح سلامة امام الرب وفرح هناك شاول وجميع رجال اسرائيل جدا
15 (B21) A tak se všechen lid vydal do Gilgalu, kde Saula před Hospodinem prohlásili za krále. Obětovali před Hospodinem pokojné oběti a Saul tam se všemi Izraelci pořádal velikou oslavu.
