1 (KJV) And Abimelech the son of Jerubbaal went to Shechem unto his mother's brethren, and communed with them, and with all the family of the house of his mother's father, saying,
1 (SVD) وذهب ابيمالك بن يربعل الى شكيم الى اخوة امه وكلمهم وجميع عشيرة بيت ابي امه قائلا.
1 (B21) Jerub-baalův syn Abimelech přišel bydlet k bratrům své matky v Šechemu a řekl jim i celému příbuzenstvu své matky:

2 (KJV) Speak, I pray you, in the ears of all the men of Shechem, Whether is better for you, either that all the sons of Jerubbaal, which are threescore and ten persons, reign over you, or that one reign over you? remember also that I am your bone and your flesh.
2 (SVD) تكلموا الآن في آذان جميع اهل شكيم. ايما هو خير لكم. أأن يتسلط عليكم سبعون رجلا جميع بني يربعل ام ان يتسلط عليكم رجل واحد. واذكروا اني انا عظمكم ولحمكم.
2 (B21) "Zeptejte se šechemských měšťanů: ‚Co je pro vás lepší - aby vám vládlo všech sedmdesát Jerub-baalových synů, nebo aby vám vládl jeden muž?' Pamatujte, že jsem vaše krev a tělo."

3 (KJV) And his mother's brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech; for they said, He is our brother.
3 (SVD) فتكلم اخوة امه عنه في آذان كل اهل شكيم بجميع هذا الكلام. فمال قلبهم وراء ابيمالك لانهم قالوا اخونا هو.
3 (B21) Bratři jeho matky to všechno o něm pověděli šechemským měšťanům a ti se přiklonili k Abimelechovi. "Je to přece náš příbuzný," říkali si.

4 (KJV) And they gave him threescore and ten pieces of silver out of the house of Baal-berith, wherewith Abimelech hired vain and light persons, which followed him.
4 (SVD) واعطوه سبعين شاقل فضة من بيت بعل بريث فاستاجر بها ابيمالك رجالا بطالين طائشين فسعوا وراءه.
4 (B21) Dali mu 70 šekelů stříbra z Baal-beritova chrámu a Abimelech si za ně najal ničemy a dobrodruhy, kteří mu dělali doprovod.

5 (KJV) And he went unto his father's house at Ophrah, and slew his brethren the sons of Jerubbaal, being threescore and ten persons, upon one stone: notwithstanding yet Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left; for he hid himself.
5 (SVD) ثم جاء الى بيت ابيه في عفرة وقتل اخوته بني يربعل سبعين رجلا على حجر واحد. وبقي يوثام بن يربعل الاصغر لانه اختبأ.
5 (B21) Pak odešel do domu svého otce v Ofře a na jednom kameni tam povraždil svých sedmdesát nevlastních bratrů, synů Jerub-baalových. Nejmladší syn Jerub-baalův Jotam ale přežil, protože se schoval.

6 (KJV) And all the men of Shechem gathered together, and all the house of Millo, and went, and made Abimelech king, by the plain of the pillar that was in Shechem.
6 (SVD) فاجتمع جميع اهل شكيم وكل سكان القلعة وذهبوا وجعلوا ابيمالك ملكا عند بلوطة النصب الذي في شكيم
6 (B21) Všichni měšťané Šechemu i všichni z Bet-mila se potom shromáždili a šli k dubu u šechemského sloupu, kde Abimelecha prohlásili za krále.

7 (KJV) And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you.
7 (SVD) واخبروا يوثام فذهب ووقف على راس جبل جرزيم ورفع صوته ونادى وقال لهم. اسمعوا لي يا اهل شكيم يسمع لكم الله.
7 (B21) Když se to dozvěděl Jotam, vystoupil na vrchol hory Gerizim a odtud na ně hlasitě volal: "Slyšte mě, šechemští měšťané! A vás ať slyší Bůh!

8 (KJV) The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us.
8 (SVD) مرّة ذهبت الاشجار لتمسح عليها ملكا. فقالت للزيتونة املكي علينا.
8 (B21) Jednou se stromy rozhodly krále nad sebou si stanovit. Řekly olivě: Kraluj nám!

9 (KJV) But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
9 (SVD) فقالت لها الزيتونة أاترك دهني الذي به يكرمون بي الله والناس واذهب لكي املك على الاشجار.
9 (B21) Oliva řekla: To snad mám svůj olej přestat vydávat, kterým se Bůh i lidé ctí, a jít kymácet se nad stromy?

10 (KJV) And the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, and reign over us.
10 (SVD) ثم قالت الاشجار للتينة تعالي انت واملكي علينا.
10 (B21) Řekly tedy stromy fíku: Pojď ty, kraluj nám!

11 (KJV) But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?
11 (SVD) فقالت لها التينة أأترك حلاوتي وثمري الطيب واذهب لكي املك على الاشجار.
11 (B21) Fíkovník řekl: To snad mám své plody přestat vydávat, jež vynikají v sladkosti, a jít kymácet se nad stromy?

12 (KJV) Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us.
12 (SVD) فقالت الاشجار للكرمة تعالي انت املكي علينا.
12 (B21) Řekly tedy stromy révě: Pojď ty, kraluj nám!

13 (KJV) And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
13 (SVD) فقالت لها الكرمة أاترك مسطاري الذي يفرح الله والناس واذهب لكي املك على الاشجار.
13 (B21) Réva řekla: To snad mám své víno přestat vydávat, kterým se Bůh i lidé veselí, a jít kymácet se nad stromy?

14 (KJV) Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, and reign over us.
14 (SVD) ثم قالت جميع الاشجار للعوسج تعال انت واملك علينا.
14 (B21) Řekly tedy všechny stromy trní: Pojď ty, kraluj nám!

15 (KJV) And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.
15 (SVD) فقال العوسج للاشجار ان كنتم بالحق تمسحونني عليكم ملكا فتعالوا واحتموا تحت ظلي. والا فتخرج نار من العوسج وتأكل ارز لبنان.
15 (B21) Trní tenkrát řeklo stromům: Pokud mě vskutku oddaně určíte sobě za krále, pak se do mého stínu uchylte. Ale pokud ne, z trní oheň vyšlehne, libanonské cedry sežehne!

16 (KJV) Now therefore, if ye have done truly and sincerely, in that ye have made Abimelech king, and if ye have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have done unto him according to the deserving of his hands;
16 (SVD) فالآن ان كنتم قد عملتم بالحق والصحة اذ جعلتم ابيمالك ملكا وان كنتم قد فعلتم خيرا مع يربعل ومع بيته وان كنتم قد فعلتم له حسب عمل يديه.
16 (B21) Nuže, zachovali jste se oddaně a čestně, když jste Abimelecha udělali králem? Zachovali jste se dobře k Jerub-baalovi a jeho domu? Zachovali jste se k němu, jak si zasloužil?

17 (KJV) (For my father fought for you, and adventured his life far, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian:
17 (SVD) لان ابي قد حارب عنكم وخاطر بنفسه وانقذكم من يد مديان.
17 (B21) Můj otec za vás bojoval, nasadil vlastní život, aby vás vysvobodil z rukou Midiánců.

18 (KJV) And ye are risen up against my father's house this day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother;)
18 (SVD) وانتم قد قمتم اليوم على بيت ابي وقتلتم بنيه سبعين رجلا على حجر واحد وملكتم ابيمالك ابن امته على اهل شكيم لانه اخوكم.
18 (B21) Vy jste ale dnes povstali proti jeho domu, povraždili jste sedmdesát jeho synů na jednom kameni a králem nad Šechemskými jste udělali Abimelecha, syna jeho děvečky - je to přece váš příbuzný!

19 (KJV) If ye then have dealt truly and sincerely with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, then rejoice ye in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you:
19 (SVD) فان كنتم قد عملتم بالحق والصحة مع يربعل ومع بيته في هذا اليوم فافرحوا انتم بابيمالك وليفرح هو ايضا بكم.
19 (B21) Pokud jste se dnes zachovali k Jerub-baalovi a jeho domu oddaně a čestně, radujte se z Abimelecha a on ať se raduje z vás!

20 (KJV) But if not, let fire come out from Abimelech, and devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let fire come out from the men of Shechem, and from the house of Millo, and devour Abimelech.
20 (SVD) والا فتخرج نار من ابيمالك وتأكل اهل شكيم وسكان القلعة وتخرج نار من اهل شكيم ومن سكان القلعة وتاكل ابيمالك.
20 (B21) Ale pokud ne, pak ať z Abimelecha vyšlehne oheň a sežehne šechemské měšťany i Bet-milo! Ať vyšlehne oheň z Šechemských i z Bet-mila a sežehne Abimelecha!"

21 (KJV) And Jotham ran away, and fled, and went to Beer, and dwelt there, for fear of Abimelech his brother.
21 (SVD) ثم هرب يوثام وفرّ وذهب الى بئر واقام هناك من وجه ابيمالك اخيه
21 (B21) Pak se dal Jotam na útěk. Uprchl před svým bratrem Abimelechem do Beeru a tam zůstal.

22 (KJV) When Abimelech had reigned three years over Israel,
22 (SVD) فترأس ابيمالك على اسرائيل ثلاث سنين.
22 (B21) Abimelech panoval nad Izraelem tři roky.

23 (KJV) Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech:
23 (SVD) وارسل الرب روحا رديا بين ابيمالك واهل شكيم فغدر اهل شكيم بابيمالك.
23 (B21) Bůh ale mezi Abimelecha a šechemské měšťany poslal ducha sváru, a Šechemští Abimelecha zradili.

24 (KJV) That the cruelty done to the threescore and ten sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their blood be laid upon Abimelech their brother, which slew them; and upon the men of Shechem, which aided him in the killing of his brethren.
24 (SVD) ليأتي ظلم بني يربعل السبعين ويجلب دمهم على ابيمالك اخيهم الذي قتلهم وعلى اهل شكيم الذين شددوا يديه لقتل اخوته.
24 (B21) To aby krutost spáchaná na sedmdesáti Jerub-baalových synech byla pomstěna a jejich krev dopadla na jejich nevlastního bratra Abimelecha, který je povraždil, i na šechemské měšťany, kteří ho podpořili, aby zabil své bratry.

25 (KJV) And the men of Shechem set liers in wait for him in the top of the mountains, and they robbed all that came along that way by them: and it was told Abimelech.
25 (SVD) فوضع له اهل شكيم كمينا على رؤوس الجبال وكانوا يستلبون كل من عبر بهم في الطريق. فأخبر ابيمالك
25 (B21) Šechemští mu na vrcholcích hor nastražili zálohy a ty přepadaly každého, kdo kolem nich procházel. Abimelech se to však dozvěděl.

26 (KJV) And Gaal the son of Ebed came with his brethren, and went over to Shechem: and the men of Shechem put their confidence in him.
26 (SVD) وجاء جعل بن عابد مع اخوته وعبروا الى شكيم فوثق به اهل شكيم
26 (B21) Tenkrát se do Šechemu přistěhoval jistý Gaal, syn Ebedův, se svými bratry a šechemští měšťané mu dali důvěru.

27 (KJV) And they went out into the fields, and gathered their vineyards, and trode the grapes, and made merry, and went into the house of their god, and did eat and drink, and cursed Abimelech.
27 (SVD) وخرجوا الى الحقل وقطفوا كرومهم وداسوا وصنعوا تمجيدا ودخلوا بيت الههم واكلوا وشربوا ولعنوا ابيمالك.
27 (B21) Vyšli na vinice, sklízeli hrozny, šlapali je v lisu a slavili vinobraní. Přišli do chrámu svého boha, jedli, pili a nadávali na Abimelecha.

28 (KJV) And Gaal the son of Ebed said, Who is Abimelech, and who is Shechem, that we should serve him? is not he the son of Jerubbaal? and Zebul his officer? serve the men of Hamor the father of Shechem: for why should we serve him?
28 (SVD) فقال جعل بن عابد من هو ابيمالك ومن هو شكيم حتى نخدمه. أما هو ابن يربعل وزبول وكيله. اخدموا رجال حمور ابي شكيم. فلماذا نخدمه نحن.
28 (B21) Gaal, syn Ebedův, vykřikoval: "Kdo je Abimelech oproti Šechemu? Proč bychom mu sloužili? Copak to není Jerub-baalův syn? A Zebula tu má jako zástupce! Služte mužům Šechemova otce Chamora. Proč bychom sloužili Abimelechovi?

29 (KJV) And would to God this people were under my hand! then would I remove Abimelech. And he said to Abimelech, Increase thine army, and come out.
29 (SVD) من يجعل هذا الشعب بيدي فاعزل ابيمالك. وقال لابيمالك كثر جندك واخرج.
29 (B21) Kdybych tak já velel tomuto lidu, hned bych se Abimelecha zbavil! Řekl bych mu: ‚Abimelechu, sbírej si armádu! Pojď se bít!'"

30 (KJV) And when Zebul the ruler of the city heard the words of Gaal the son of Ebed, his anger was kindled.
30 (SVD) ولما سمع زبول رئيس المدينة كلام جعل بن عابد حمي غضبه.
30 (B21) Když se o těchto řečech Gaala, syna Ebedova, dozvěděl správce města Zebul, vzplanul hněvem.

31 (KJV) And he sent messengers unto Abimelech privily, saying, Behold, Gaal the son of Ebed and his brethren be come to Shechem; and, behold, they fortify the city against thee.
31 (SVD) وارسل رسلا الى ابيمالك في ترمة يقول هوذا جعل بن عابد واخوته قد اتوا الى شكيم وها هم يهيجون المدينة ضدك.
31 (B21) Tajně poslal k Abimelechovi posly se vzkazem: "Pozor, do Šechemu přišel Gaal, syn Ebedův, se svými bratry. Pozor na ně, podněcují město proti tobě!

32 (KJV) Now therefore up by night, thou and the people that is with thee, and lie in wait in the field:
32 (SVD) فالآن قم ليلا انت والشعب الذي معك واكمن في الحقل.
32 (B21) Proto se v noci se svým vojskem vyprav a ukryj se v polích do zálohy.

33 (KJV) And it shall be, that in the morning, as soon as the sun is up, thou shalt rise early, and set upon the city: and, behold, when he and the people that is with him come out against thee, then mayest thou do to them as thou shalt find occasion.
33 (SVD) ويكون في الصباح عند شروق الشمس انك تبكر وتقتحم المدينة. وها هو والشعب الذي معه يخرجون اليك فتفعل به حسبما تجده يدك
33 (B21) Brzy ráno za svítání zaútočíš na město. Až Gaal se svými muži vyrazí proti tobě, naložíš s ním, jak budeš moci."

34 (KJV) And Abimelech rose up, and all the people that were with him, by night, and they laid wait against Shechem in four companies.
34 (SVD) فقام ابيمالك وكل الشعب الذي معه ليلا وكمنوا لشكيم اربع فرق.
34 (B21) Abimelech se tedy v noci se svým vojskem vypravil a ukryli se do zálohy proti Šechemu ve čtyřech oddílech.

35 (KJV) And Gaal the son of Ebed went out, and stood in the entering of the gate of the city: and Abimelech rose up, and the people that were with him, from lying in wait.
35 (SVD) فخرج جعل بن عابد ووقف في مدخل باب المدينة. فقام ابيمالك والشعب الذي معه من المكمن.
35 (B21) Jakmile Gaal, syn Ebedův, vyšel a zastavil se ve vchodu do městské brány, zvedl se Abimelech se svými muži ze zálohy.

36 (KJV) And when Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul, Behold, there come people down from the top of the mountains. And Zebul said unto him, Thou seest the shadow of the mountains as if they were men.
36 (SVD) ورأى جعل الشعب وقال لزبول هوذا شعب نازل عن رؤوس الجبال. فقال له زبول انك ترى ظل الجبال كانه اناس.
36 (B21) Když je Gaal uviděl, řekl Zebulovi: "Podívej, z hřebenů hor sestupuje vojsko!" Zebul mu ale odpověděl: "To ti jen horské stíny připadají jako postavy."

37 (KJV) And Gaal spake again and said, See there come people down by the middle of the land, and another company come along by the plain of Meonenim.
37 (SVD) فعاد جعل وتكلم ايضا قائلا هوذا شعب نازل من عند اعالي الارض وفرقة واحدة آتية عن طريق بلوطة العائفين.
37 (B21) Gaal však pokračoval: "Podívej, z Tabur-erecu sestupuje vojsko a další houf se blíží od Věšteckého dubu!"

38 (KJV) Then said Zebul unto him, Where is now thy mouth, wherewith thou saidst, Who is Abimelech, that we should serve him? is not this the people that thou hast despised? go out, I pray now, and fight with them.
38 (SVD) فقال له زبول اين الآن فوك الذي قلت به من هو ابيمالك حتى نخدمه. أليس هذا هو الشعب الذي رذلته. فاخرج الآن وحاربه.
38 (B21) Nato mu Zebul řekl: "Kdepak jsou ty tvé řeči? Říkal jsi: ‚Kdo je Abimelech, abychom mu sloužili?' Není to snad to vojsko, kterému ses vysmíval? No tak, vzhůru, bojuj s ním!"

39 (KJV) And Gaal went out before the men of Shechem, and fought with Abimelech.
39 (SVD) فخرج جعل امام اهل شكيم وحارب ابيمالك.
39 (B21) Gaal tedy vytáhl v čele Šechemských, aby bojoval s Abimelechem.

40 (KJV) And Abimelech chased him, and he fled before him, and many were overthrown and wounded, even unto the entering of the gate.
40 (SVD) فهزمه ابيمالك فهرب من قدامه وسقط قتلى كثيرون حتى عند مدخل الباب.
40 (B21) Abimelech ho ale hnal až k městské bráně, a jak utíkali, padlo mnoho mrtvých.

41 (KJV) And Abimelech dwelt at Arumah: and Zebul thrust out Gaal and his brethren, that they should not dwell in Shechem.
41 (SVD) فاقام ابيمالك في ارومة. وطرد زبول جعلا واخوته عن الاقامة في شكيم
41 (B21) Abimelech se pak vrátil do Arumy a Zebul vyhnal Gaala a jeho bratry ze Šechemu.

42 (KJV) And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people went out into the field; and they told Abimelech.
42 (SVD) وكان في الغد ان الشعب خرج الى الحقل واخبروا ابيمالك.
42 (B21) Druhého dne Šechemští vyšli do polí. Když se to dozvěděl Abimelech,

43 (KJV) And he took the people, and divided them into three companies, and laid wait in the field, and looked, and, behold, the people were come forth out of the city; and he rose up against them, and smote them.
43 (SVD) فاخذ القوم وقسمهم الى ثلاث فرق وكمن في الحقل ونظر واذ الشعب يخرج من المدينة فقام عليهم وضربهم.
43 (B21) vzal své vojsko, rozdělil je na tři oddíly a ukryl do zálohy v polích. Když viděl, že lidé opravdu vycházejí z města, vyrazil proti nim a pobil je.

44 (KJV) And Abimelech, and the company that was with him, rushed forward, and stood in the entering of the gate of the city: and the two other companies ran upon all the people that were in the fields, and slew them.
44 (SVD) وابيمالك والفرقة التي معه اقتحموا ووقفوا في مدخل باب المدينة. واما الفرقتان فهجمتا على كل من في الحقل وضربتاه.
44 (B21) Zatímco Abimelech se svým oddílem vyrazil a obsadil vchod do městské brány, zbývající dva oddíly přepadly všechny, kdo byli v polích, a pobily je.

45 (KJV) And Abimelech fought against the city all that day; and he took the city, and slew the people that was therein, and beat down the city, and sowed it with salt.
45 (SVD) وحارب ابيمالك المدينة كل ذلك اليوم واخذ المدينة وقتل الشعب الذي بها وهدم المدينة وزرعها ملحا
45 (B21) Abimelech útočil na město celý den, až je dobyl. Lidi ve městě pozabíjel, město pobořil a posypal solí.

46 (KJV) And when all the men of the tower of Shechem heard that, they entered into an hold of the house of the god Berith.
46 (SVD) وسمع كل اهل برج شكيم فدخلوا الى صرح بيت ايل بريث.
46 (B21) Jakmile o tom uslyšeli měšťané v Šechemské věži, uchýlili se všichni do pevnosti El-beritova chrámu.

47 (KJV) And it was told Abimelech, that all the men of the tower of Shechem were gathered together.
47 (SVD) فأخبر ابيمالك ان كل اهل برج شكيم قد اجتمعوا.
47 (B21) Když se Abimelech dozvěděl, že jsou tam všichni pohromadě,

48 (KJV) And Abimelech gat him up to mount Zalmon, he and all the people that were with him; and Abimelech took an axe in his hand, and cut down a bough from the trees, and took it, and laid it on his shoulder, and said unto the people that were with him, What ye have seen me do, make haste, and do as I have done.
48 (SVD) فصعد ابيمالك الى جبل صلمون هو وكل الشعب الذي معه. واخذ ابيمالك الفؤوس بيده وقطع غصن شجر ورفعه ووضعه على كتفه وقال للشعب الذي معه ما رأيتموني افعله فاسرعوا افعلوا مثلي.
48 (B21) vystoupil s celým svým vojskem na horu Calmon. Vzal sekeru, usekl ze stromu větev, naložil si ji na rameno a řekl svým mužům: "Viděli jste, co dělám? Rychle to udělejte po mně!"

49 (KJV) And all the people likewise cut down every man his bough, and followed Abimelech, and put them to the hold, and set the hold on fire upon them; so that all the men of the tower of Shechem died also, about a thousand men and women.
49 (SVD) فقطع الشعب ايضا كل واحد غصنا وساروا وراء ابيمالك ووضعوها على الصرح واحرقوا عليهم الصرح بالنار. فمات ايضا جميع اهل برج شكيم نحو الف رجل وامرأة.
49 (B21) Každý ve vojsku tedy usekl větev a šli za Abimelechem. Obložili jimi pevnost a zapálili jim ji nad hlavou, takže všichni lidé v Šechemské věži zahynuli - na tisíc mužů a žen.

50 (KJV) Then went Abimelech to Thebez, and encamped against Thebez, and took it.
50 (SVD) ثم ذهب ابيمالك الى تاباص ونزل في تاباص واخذها.
50 (B21) Potom Abimelech táhl k Tebecu, oblehl jej a dobyl.

51 (KJV) But there was a strong tower within the city, and thither fled all the men and women, and all they of the city, and shut it to them, and gat them up to the top of the tower.
51 (SVD) وكان برج قوي في وسط المدينة فهرب اليه جميع الرجال والنساء وكل اهل المدينة واغلقوا ورائهم وصعدوا الى سطح البرج.
51 (B21) Uprostřed města byla pevná věž, kam utekli všichni muži a ženy, všichni obyvatelé města. Zavřeli za sebou a vystoupili na střechu věže.

52 (KJV) And Abimelech came unto the tower, and fought against it, and went hard unto the door of the tower to burn it with fire.
52 (SVD) فجاء ابيمالك الى البرج وحاربه واقترب الى باب البرج ليحرقه بالنار.
52 (B21) Abimelech šel až k věži a vzal ji útokem. Když se ale přiblížil ke vchodu do věže, aby ji zapálil,

53 (KJV) And a certain woman cast a piece of a millstone upon Abimelech's head, and all to brake his skull.
53 (SVD) فطرحت امرأة قطعة رحى على راس ابيمالك فشجت جمجمته.
53 (B21) nějaká žena mu shodila mlýnský kámen na hlavu a rozbila mu lebku.

54 (KJV) Then he called hastily unto the young man his armourbearer, and said unto him, Draw thy sword, and slay me, that men say not of me, A woman slew him. And his young man thrust him through, and he died.
54 (SVD) فدعا حالا الغلام حامل عدته وقال له اخترط سيفك واقتلني لئلا يقولوا عني قتلته امرأة. فطعنه الغلام فمات.
54 (B21) Abimelech k sobě rychle zavolal mládence, který mu nosil zbroj: "Vytas meč a zabij mě! Ať se o mně neříká: Žena ho zabila!" Zbrojnoš ho tedy probodl a on zemřel.

55 (KJV) And when the men of Israel saw that Abimelech was dead, they departed every man unto his place.
55 (SVD) ولما رأى رجال اسرائيل ان ابيمالك قد مات ذهب كل واحد الى مكانه.
55 (B21) Když Izraelci uviděli, že Abimelech je mrtev, vrátili se každý domů.

56 (KJV) Thus God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren:

56 (B21) Tak Bůh Abimelechovi odplatil zločin, který spáchal na svém otci, když povraždil svých sedmdesát bratrů.

57 (KJV) And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God render upon their heads: and upon them came the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal.

57 (B21) Také všechny zločiny Šechemských obrátil Bůh na jejich hlavy. Přišlo na ně zlořečení Jotama, syna Jerub-baalova.
