1 (KJV) Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.
1 (SVD) فبكر يربعل اي جدعون وكل الشعب الذي معه ونزلوا على عين حرود. وكان جيش المديانيين شماليهم عند تل مورة في الوادي.
1 (B21) Ráno se pak Jerub-baal (totiž Gedeon) s celým svým vojskem utábořil u pramene Charod. Tábor Midiánců ležel severně od nich, v údolí pod vrchem More.

2 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
2 (SVD) وقال الرب لجدعون ان الشعب الذي معك كثير عليّ لادفع المديانيين بيدهم لئلا يفتخر عليّ اسرائيل قائلا يدي خلصتني.
2 (B21) Hospodin řekl Gedeonovi: "Máš příliš velké vojsko. Nemohu jim vydat Midiánce do rukou, aby se Izrael nechlubil na můj účet a neříkal: ‚Zvítězili jsme díky své síle.'

3 (KJV) Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.
3 (SVD) والآن ناد في آذان الشعب قائلا من كان خائفا ومرتعدا فليرجع وينصرف من جبل جلعاد. فرجع من الشعب اثنان وعشرون الفا. وبقي عشرة آلاف.
3 (B21) Proto teď k vojsku provolej: ‚Kdo má obavy nebo strach, ať se vrátí domů a odejde z pohoří Gilboa!'" 22 000 mužů se tehdy vrátilo a 10 000 zůstalo.

4 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go.
4 (SVD) وقال الرب لجدعون لم يزل الشعب كثيرا. انزل بهم الى الماء فانقيهم لك هناك. ويكون ان الذي اقول لك عنه هذا يذهب معك فهو يذهب معك وكل من اقول لك عنه هذا لا يذهب معك فهو لا يذهب.
4 (B21) Hospodin řekl Gedeonovi: "Vojsko je stále příliš velké. Zaveď je dolů k vodě a tam ti je protříbím. O kom řeknu: ‚Půjde s tebou,' ten s tebou půjde. O kom řeknu: ‚Nepůjde s tebou,' ten nepůjde."

5 (KJV) So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.
5 (SVD) فنزل بالشعب الى الماء. وقال الرب لجدعون كل من يلغ بلسانه من الماء كما يلغ الكلب فأوقفه وحده. وكذا كل من جثا على ركبتيه للشرب.
5 (B21) Odvedl tedy vojsko dolů k vodě. Tam Hospodin Gedeonovi řekl: "Všechny, kdo chlemtají vodu jako pes, odděl od těch, kdo si k pití kleknou."

6 (KJV) And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.
6 (SVD) وكان عدد الذين ولغوا بيدهم الى فمهم ثلاث مئة رجل. واما باقي الشعب جميعا فجثوا على ركبهم لشرب الماء.
6 (B21) Tři sta mužů chlemtalo vodu z ruky a všichni ostatní si k pití klekli.

7 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.
7 (SVD) فقال الرب لجدعون بالثلاث مئة الرجل الذين ولغوا اخلصكم وادفع المديانيين ليدك. واما سائر الشعب فليذهبوا كل واحد الى مكانه.
7 (B21) Hospodin řekl Gedeonovi: "S těmi třemi sty muži, kteří chlemtali, vás zachráním a vydám ti Midiánce do rukou. Zbytek vojska může jít domů."

8 (KJV) So the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.
8 (SVD) فاخذ الشعب زادا بيدهم مع ابواقهم. وارسل سائر رجال اسرائيل كل واحد الى خيمته وأمسك الثلاث مئة الرجل. وكانت محلّة المديانيين تحته في الوادي
8 (B21) Gedeon tedy poslal zbytek Izraelců domů a ponechal si jen těch tři sta mužů. Ti převzali od zbytku vojska jejich zásoby a beraní rohy. Midiánský tábor ležel dole v údolí.

9 (KJV) And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Arise, get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine hand.
9 (SVD) وكان في تلك الليلة ان الرب قال له قم انزل الى المحلّة لاني قد دفعتها الى يدك.
9 (B21) Té noci Hospodin řekl Gedeonovi: "Vstaň a sejdi do tábora, neboť jsem ti ho vydal do rukou.

10 (KJV) But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host:
10 (SVD) وان كنت خائفا من النزول فانزل انت وفورة غلامك الى المحلّة
10 (B21) Bojíš-li se tam jít sám, vezmi si s sebou zbrojnoše Puru.

11 (KJV) And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host.
11 (SVD) وتسمع ما يتكلمون به وبعد تتشدد يداك وتنزل الى المحلّة. فنزل هو وفورة غلامه الى آخر المتجهزين الذين في المحلّة.
11 (B21) Až uslyšíš, co si v táboře říkají, osmělíš se k útoku." Sešel tedy se svým zbrojnošem Purou až k ozbrojeným hlídkám na kraji tábora.

12 (KJV) And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.
12 (SVD) وكان المديانيون والعمالقة وكل بني المشرق حالّين في الوادي كالجراد في الكثرة. وجمالهم لا عدد لها كالرمل الذي على شاطئ البحر في الكثرة.
12 (B21) Midiánců, Amalekovců a všech východních národů leželo v údolí jako kobylek! I jejich velbloudů bylo bezpočtu, jako je písku na břehu moře.

13 (KJV) And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.
13 (SVD) وجاء جدعون فاذا رجل يخبر صاحبه بحلم ويقول هوذا قد حلمت حلما واذا رغيف خبز شعير يتدحرج في محلّة المديانيين وجاء الى الخيمة وضربها فسقطت وقلبها الى فوق فسقطت الخيمة.
13 (B21) Jakmile Gedeon přišel, zaslechl, jak jeden voják vypráví druhému svůj sen: "Víš, zdál se mi takový sen: Viděl jsem, jak se na midiánský tábor valil pecen ječného chleba. Dostal se až ke stanu a vrazil do něj tak, že ho převrátil vzhůru nohama a zbořil."

14 (KJV) And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.
14 (SVD) فاجاب صاحبه وقال ليس ذلك الا سيف جدعون بن يوآش رجل اسرائيل. قد دفع الله الى يده المديانيين وكل الجيش
14 (B21) Na to mu ten druhý odpověděl: "To může být jen meč Izraelce Gedeona, syna Joašova. Bůh mu dal do rukou Midiánce a celý tábor!"

15 (KJV) And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.
15 (SVD) وكان لما سمع جدعون خبر الحلم وتفسيره انه سجد ورجع الى محلّة اسرائيل وقال قوموا لان الرب قد دفع الى يدكم جيش المديانيين.
15 (B21) Když Gedeon uslyšel ten sen i jeho výklad, poklonil se Bohu. Vrátil se do izraelského tábora a zvolal: "Vzhůru! Hospodin vydal midiánský tábor do vašich rukou!"

16 (KJV) And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man's hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps within the pitchers.
16 (SVD) وقسم الثلاث مئة الرجل الى ثلاث فرق وجعل ابواقا في ايديهم كلهم وجرارا فارغة ومصابيح في وسط الجرار.
16 (B21) Těch tři sta mužů rozdělil do tří oddílů, každému dal do rukou beraní roh a prázdný džbán a do toho džbánu pochodeň.

17 (KJV) And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.
17 (SVD) وقال لهم انظروا اليّ وافعلوا كذلك. وها انا آت الى طرف المحلّة فيكون كما افعل انكم هكذا تفعلون.
17 (B21) Pak jim nařídil: "Sledujte mě a dělejte, co já. Až dojdu k okraji tábora, udělejte přesně to, co já.

18 (KJV) When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and say, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.
18 (SVD) ومتى ضربت بالبوق انا وكل الذين معي فاضربوا انتم ايضا بالابواق حول كل المحلّة وقولوا للرب ولجدعون
18 (B21) Jakmile se svými muži zatroubím na roh, i vy kolem celého tábora začněte troubit na rohy a křičet: Za Hospodina a Gedeona!"

19 (KJV) So Gideon, and the hundred men that were with him, came unto the outside of the camp in the beginning of the middle watch; and they had but newly set the watch: and they blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers that were in their hands.
19 (SVD) فجاء جدعون والمئة الرجل الذين معه الى طرف المحلّة في اول الهزيع الاوسط وكانوا اذ ذاك قد اقاموا الحراس فضربوا بالابواق وكسروا الجرار التي بايديهم.
19 (B21) Na začátku půlnoční hlídky, právě když se rozestavěly stráže, došel Gedeon se stovkou mužů k okraji tábora. Vtom zatroubili na rohy a rozbili džbány, které si nesli.

20 (KJV) And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.
20 (SVD) فضربت الفرق الثلاث بالابواق وكسروا الجرار وامسكوا المصابيح بايديهم اليسرى والابواق بايديهم اليمنى ليضربوا بها وصرخوا سيف للرب ولجدعون.
20 (B21) Všechny tři oddíly zatroubily na rohy a rozbily džbány. V levé ruce drželi pochodně, v pravé beraní rohy a křičeli: "Mečem za Hospodina a Gedeona!"

21 (KJV) And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.
21 (SVD) ووقفوا كل واحد في مكانه حول المحلّة فركض كل الجيش وصرخوا وهربوا.
21 (B21) A jak tam stáli seřazeni okolo tábora, celý tábor začal zděšeně pobíhat a s křikem prchat.

22 (KJV) And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Beth-shittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abel-meholah, unto Tabbath.
22 (SVD) وضرب الثلاث المئين بالابواق وجعل الرب سيف كل واحد بصاحبه وبكل الجيش. فهرب الجيش الى بيت شطّة الى صردة حتى الى حافة آبل محولة الى طبّاة.
22 (B21) Jakmile zatroubilo těch tři sta beraních rohů, Hospodin po celém táboře obrátil meč jednoho muže proti druhému. Celé to vojsko se dalo na útěk směrem k Bet-šitě, směrem na Cereru, až ke břehu u Abel-mecholy naproti Tabatu.

23 (KJV) And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naphtali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manasseh, and pursued after the Midianites.
23 (SVD) فاجتمع رجال اسرائيل من نفتالي ومن اشير ومن كل منسّى وتبعوا المديانيين
23 (B21) Izraelští muži z Neftalíma, Ašera a z celého Manasese byli povoláni, aby Midiánce pronásledovali.

24 (KJV) And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount Ephraim, saying, Come down against the Midianites, and take before them the waters unto Beth-barah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters unto Beth-barah and Jordan.
24 (SVD) فارسل جدعون رسلا الى كل جبل افرايم قائلا انزلوا للقاء المديانيين وخذوا منهم المياه الى بيت بارة والاردن. فاجتمع كل رجال افرايم واخذوا المياه الى بيت بارة والاردن.
24 (B21) Gedeon také rozeslal posly po celém pohoří Efraim s rozkazem: "Sestupte z hor odříznout Midiánce! Obsaďte jim jordánské brody až k Bet-baře." Všichni Efraimští muži se tedy shromáždili a zabrali jordánské brody až k Bet-baře.

25 (KJV) And they took two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb; and they slew Oreb upon the rock Oreb, and Zeeb they slew at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jordan.
25 (SVD) وامسكوا اميري المديانيين غرابا وذئبا وقتلوا غرابا على صخرة غراب واما ذئب فقتلوه في معصرة ذئب. وتبعوا المديانيين. واتوا براسي غراب وذئب الى جدعون من عبر الاردن
25 (B21) Pronásledovali Midiánce a zajali dva jejich velitele, Oreba (totiž Havrana) a Zeeba (totiž Vlka). Oreba popravili u Havraní skály a Zeeba u Vlčího lisu. Orebovu a Zeebovu hlavu pak přinesli Gedeonovi na druhou stranu Jordánu.
