1 (KJV) Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.
1 (SVD) ورجال اسرائيل حلفوا في المصفاة قائلين لا يسلم احد منا ابنته لبنيامين امرأة.
1 (B21) Izraelci v Micpě přísahali: "Nikdo z nás nedá svou dceru za ženu Benjamínci!"

2 (KJV) And the people came to the house of God, and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore;
2 (SVD) وجاء الشعب الى بيت ايل واقاموا هناك الى المساء امام الله ورفعوا صوتهم وبكوا بكاء عظيما.
2 (B21) Potom se odebrali do Bet-elu a seděli tam před Bohem až do večera. S velikým pláčem hlasitě naříkali:

3 (KJV) And said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?
3 (SVD) وقالوا لماذا يا رب اله اسرائيل حدثت هذه في اسرائيل حتى يفقد اليوم من اسرائيل سبط.
3 (B21) "Hospodine, Bože izraelský, co se to v Izraeli stalo? Proč dnes má být z Izraele odečten celý kmen?"

4 (KJV) And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.
4 (SVD) وفي الغد بكر الشعب وبنوا هناك مذبحا واصعدوا محرقات وذبائح سلامة.
4 (B21) Druhého dne časně zrána tam lid postavil oltář a přinášel zápalné a pokojné oběti.

5 (KJV) And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.
5 (SVD) وقال بنو اسرائيل من هو الذي لم يصعد في المجمع من جميع اسباط اسرائيل الى الرب. لانه صار الحلف العظيم على الذي لم يصعد الى الرب الى المصفاة قائلا يمات موتا.
5 (B21) Izraelci se ptali: "Kdo ze všech izraelských kmenů nepřišel do shromáždění k Hospodinu?" Zavázali se totiž přísahou, že každý, kdo nepřijde k Hospodinu do Micpy, musí zemřít.)

6 (KJV) And the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.
6 (SVD) وندم بنو اسرائيل على بنيامين اخيهم وقالوا قد انقطع اليوم سبط واحد من اسرائيل.
6 (B21) Izraelcům tehdy přišlo jejich bratra Benjamína líto. Říkali: "Dnes byl z Izraele vyhlazen celý kmen!

7 (KJV) How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?
7 (SVD) ماذا نعمل للباقين منهم في امر النساء وقد حلفنا نحن بالرب ان لا نعطيهم من بناتنا نساء.
7 (B21) Co si počneme s těmi, kdo zbyli? Jak jim opatříme ženy? Vždyť jsme přísahali při Hospodinu, že jim nikdo nedáme svou dceru za ženu."

8 (KJV) And they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up to Mizpeh to the LORD? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabesh-gilead to the assembly.
8 (SVD) وقالوا اي سبط من اسباط اسرائيل لم يصعد الى الرب الى المصفاة. وهوذا لم يات الى المحلّة رجل من يابيش جلعاد الى المجمع.
8 (B21) Potom se ptali: "Kdo z izraelských kmenů nepřišel k Hospodinu do Micpy?" Ukázalo se, že do tábora na shromáždění nepřišel nikdo z Jábeš-gileádu.

9 (KJV) For the people were numbered, and, behold, there were none of the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead there.
9 (SVD) فعد الشعب فلم يكن هناك رجل من سكان يابيش جلعاد.
9 (B21) Spočítali totiž lid a hle - z obyvatel Jábeš-gileádu tam nebyl nikdo.

10 (KJV) And the congregation sent thither twelve thousand men of the valiantest, and commanded them, saying, Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead with the edge of the sword, with the women and the children.
10 (SVD) فارسلت الجماعة الى هناك اثني عشر الف رجل من بني البأس واوصوهم قائلين اذهبوا واضربوا سكان يابيش جلعاد بحد السيف مع النساء والاطفال.
10 (B21) Obec tam proto vyslala 12 000 udatných mužů s příkazem: "Jděte a pobijte obyvatele Jábeš-gileádu ostřím meče, včetně žen a dětí.

11 (KJV) And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.
11 (SVD) وهذا ما تعملونه. تحرّمون كل ذكر وكل امرأة عرفت اضطجاع ذكر.
11 (B21) Toto je úkol, který splníte: Každého muže i každou ženu, která poznala muže, pobijte."

12 (KJV) And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.
12 (SVD) فوجدوا من سكان يابيش جلعاد اربع مئة فتاة عذارى لم يعرفن رجلا بالاضطجاع مع ذكر وجاءوا بهنّ الى المحلّة الى شيلوه التي في ارض كنعان
12 (B21) Mezi obyvateli Jábeš-gileádu se našlo 400 dívek, netknutých panen, které ještě nepoznaly muže. Ty přivedli do tábora v Šílu v kanaánské zemi.

13 (KJV) And the whole congregation sent some to speak to the children of Benjamin that were in the rock Rimmon, and to call peaceably unto them.
13 (SVD) وارسلت الجماعة كلها وكلمت بني بنيامين الذين في صخرة رمون واستدعتهم الى الصلح.
13 (B21) Obec pak poslala k oněm Benjamíncům na Rimonské skále vzkaz s vyhlášením míru.

14 (KJV) And Benjamin came again at that time; and they gave them wives which they had saved alive of the women of Jabesh-gilead: and yet so they sufficed them not.
14 (SVD) فرجع بنيامين في ذلك الوقت فاعطوهم النساء اللواتي استحيوهنّ من نساء يابيش جلعاد ولم يكفوهم هكذا.
14 (B21) Benjamín se tenkrát vrátil a Izraelci jim dali ženy, které nechali z Jábeš-gileádu naživu. Nebylo jich ale dost.

15 (KJV) And the people repented them for Benjamin, because that the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.
15 (SVD) وندم الشعب من اجل بنيامين لان الرب جعل شقّا في اسباط اسرائيل
15 (B21) Lidu bylo Benjamína líto, protože Hospodin dopustil v izraelských kmenech trhlinu.

16 (KJV) Then the elders of the congregation said, How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?
16 (SVD) فقال شيوخ الجماعة ماذا نصنع بالباقين في امر النساء لانه قد انقطعت النساء من بنيامين.
16 (B21) Stařešinové obce říkali: "Co si počneme s těmi, kdo zbyli? Jak jim opatříme ženy? Benjamínské ženy byly přece vyhlazeny."

17 (KJV) And they said, There must be an inheritance for them that be escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel.
17 (SVD) وقالوا ميراث نجاة لبنيامين ولا يمحى سبط من اسرائيل.
17 (B21) Říkali také: "Ti, kdo se z Benjamína zachránili, potřebují dědice, aby z Izraele nevymizel celý kmen.

18 (KJV) Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.
18 (SVD) ونحن لا نقدر ان نعطيهم نساء من بناتنا لان بني اسرائيل حلفوا قائلين ملعون من اعطى امرأة لبنيامين.
18 (B21) Naše dcery jim ale za ženy dát nemůžeme, protože Izraelci přísahali: Zlořečený, kdo by dal ženu Benjamínovi!"

19 (KJV) Then they said, Behold, there is a feast of the LORD in Shiloh yearly in a place which is on the north side of Bethel, on the east side of the highway that goeth up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.
19 (SVD) ثم قالوا هوذا عيد الرب في شيلوه من سنة الى سنة شمالي بيت ايل شرقي الطريق الصاعدة من بيت ايل الى شكيم وجنوبي لبونة.
19 (B21) Pak si ale řekli: "V Šílu je přece Hospodinova výroční slavnost!" (Je to severně od Bet-elu, východně od silnice vedoucí z Bet-elu do Šechemu a jižně od Lebony.)

20 (KJV) Therefore they commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards;
20 (SVD) واوصوا بني بنيامين قائلين امضوا واكمنوا في الكروم.
20 (B21) A tak Benjamíncům poradili: "Jděte se schovat do vinic.

21 (KJV) And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.
21 (SVD) وانظروا فاذا خرجت بنات شيلوه ليدرن في الرقص فاخرجوا انتم من الكروم واخطفوا لانفسكم كل واحد امرأته من بنات شيلوه واذهبوا الى ارض بنيامين.
21 (B21) Jakmile uvidíte, že dívky ze Šíla jdou tančit na veselici, vyskočte z vinic, každý si z nich polapte manželku a vraťte se do benjamínského kraje.

22 (KJV) And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come unto us to complain, that we will say unto them, Be favourable unto them for our sakes: because we reserved not to each man his wife in the war: for ye did not give unto them at this time, that ye should be guilty.
22 (SVD) فاذا جاء آباؤهنّ او اخوتهنّ لكي يشكوا الينا نقول لهم تراءفوا عليهم لاجلنا لاننا لم ناخذ لكل واحد امرأته في الحرب لانكم انتم لم تعطوهم في الوقت حتى تكونوا قد اثمتم.
22 (B21) Kdyby si k nám jejich otcové nebo bratři přišli stěžovat, řekneme jim: Mějte s nimi slitování, vždyť jsme v boji neukořistili dost žen pro všechny! Vy sami jste jim dcery nedali, takže jste nevinní."

23 (KJV) And the children of Benjamin did so, and took them wives, according to their number, of them that danced, whom they caught: and they went and returned unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them.
23 (SVD) ففعل هكذا بنو بنيامين واتخذوا نساء حسب عددهم من الراقصات اللواتي اختطفوهنّ وذهبوا ورجعوا الى ملكهم وبنوا المدن وسكنوا بها.
23 (B21) A tak to Benjamínci udělali. Každý si z té veselice odvedl manželku, kterou si chytil. Pak šli a vrátili se do svého dědictví. Znovu vystavěli svá města a bydleli v nich.

24 (KJV) And the children of Israel departed thence at that time, every man to his tribe and to his family, and they went out from thence every man to his inheritance.
24 (SVD) فسار من هناك بنو اسرائيل في ذلك الوقت كل واحد الى سبطه وعشيرته وخرجوا من هناك كل واحد الى ملكه.
24 (B21) Synové Izraele se tenkrát odtamtud rozešli každý ke svému kmeni a ke svému rodu, každý do svého dědictví.

25 (KJV) In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
25 (SVD) في تلك الايام لم يكن ملك في اسرائيل. كل واحد عمل ما حسن في عينيه
25 (B21) Izrael byl tenkrát bez krále. Každý si dělal, co chtěl.
