1 (HEM) ויצאו כל בני ישראל ותקהל העדה כאיש אחד למדן ועד באר שבע וארץ הגלעד אל יהוה המצפה׃
1 (KAT) Tu vytiahli všetci Izraeliti od Dana až po Bersabu, aj krajina Galaád, a zástup sa zhromaždil ako jeden muž k Pánovi do Masfy.
1 (UKJV) Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the land of Gilead, unto the LORD in Mizpeh.

2 (HEM) ויתיצבו פנות כל העם כל שבטי ישראל בקהל עם האלהים ארבע מאות אלף איש רגלי שלף חרב׃
2 (KAT) Dostavili sa vodcovia všetkého ľudu, všetkých izraelských kmeňov, na zhromaždenie Božieho ľudu, štyristotisíc pešiakov vyzbrojených mečom.
2 (UKJV) And the chief of all the people, even of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen that drew sword.

3 (HEM) וישמעו בני בנימן כי עלו בני ישראל המצפה ויאמרו בני ישראל דברו איכה נהיתה הרעה הזאת׃
3 (KAT) Benjamínovci sa dopočuli, že Izraeliti vytiahli do Masfy. Izraeliti sa pýtali: „Povedzte len, ako sa stal tento zločin?“
3 (UKJV) (Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the children of Israel, Tell us, how was this wickedness?

4 (HEM) ויען האיש הלוי איש האשה הנרצחה ויאמר הגבעתה אשר לבנימן באתי אני ופילגשי ללון׃
4 (KAT) A levita, manžel zavraždenej ženy, odpovedal takto: „So svojou vedľajšou ženou som prišiel do Benjamínovej Gabay, aby som (tam) prenocoval.
4 (UKJV) And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongs to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.

5 (HEM) ויקמו עלי בעלי הגבעה ויסבו עלי את הבית לילה אותי דמו להרג ואת פילגשי ענו ותמת׃
5 (KAT) Obyvatelia Gabay však povstali proti mne. V noci obstali pre mňa dom. Mňa chceli zabiť a moju vedľajšiu ženu tak znásilnili, že zomrela.
5 (UKJV) And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about upon me by night, and thought to have slain me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead.

6 (HEM) ואחז בפילגשי ואנתחה ואשלחה בכל שדה נחלת ישראל כי עשו זמה ונבלה בישראל׃
6 (KAT) Chytil som svoju vedľajšiu ženu, rozsekal som ju a rozoslal som ju po celom území Izraelovho dedičného vlastníctva, lebo sa dopustili ohavného činu v Izraeli.
6 (UKJV) And I took my concubine, and cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel: for they have committed lewdness and folly in Israel.

7 (HEM) הנה כלכם בני ישראל הבו לכם דבר ועצה הלם׃
7 (KAT) Hľa, ste tu všetci, Izraelovi synovia! Poraďte sa, rozhodnite tu!“
7 (UKJV) "Behold, all of you are all children of Israel; give here your advice and counsel. "

8 (HEM) ויקם כל העם כאיש אחד לאמר לא נלך איש לאהלו ולא נסור איש לביתו׃
8 (KAT) Nato povstal všetok ľud ako jeden muž a volal: „Nik z nás nepôjde do svojho stanu. Nik z nás sa neodoberie do svojho domu.
8 (UKJV) And all the people arose as one man, saying, We will not any of us go to his tent, neither will we any of us turn into his house.

9 (HEM) ועתה זה הדבר אשר נעשה לגבעה עליה בגורל׃
9 (KAT) Teraz toto urobíme s Gabaou: Podľa lósa (vytiahneme) proti nej.
9 (UKJV) "But now this shall be the thing which we will do to Gibeah; we will go up by lot against it; "

10 (HEM) ולקחנו עשרה אנשים למאה לכל שבטי ישראל ומאה לאלף ואלף לרבבה לקחת צדה לעם לעשות לבואם לגבע בנימן ככל הנבלה אשר עשה בישראל׃
10 (KAT) Zo všetkých Izraelových kmeňov vezmeme po desať mužov zo sta, po sto z tisíca a po tisíc z desaťtisíca, aby priniesli ľudu potravu. Po ich návrate urobíme Benjamínovej Gabae, ako si zasluhuje, podľa celej ohavnosti, ktorá sa stala v Izraeli.“
10 (UKJV) And we will take ten men of an hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and an hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, to fetch victual for the people, that they may do, when they come to Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the folly that they have wrought in Israel.

11 (HEM) ויאסף כל איש ישראל אל העיר כאיש אחד חברים׃
11 (KAT) A všetci Izraeliti sa zhromaždili k mestu ako jeden muž, ako spojenec.
11 (UKJV) So all the men of Israel were gathered against the city, knit together as one man.

12 (HEM) וישלחו שבטי ישראל אנשים בכל שבטי בנימן לאמר מה הרעה הזאת אשר נהיתה בכם׃
12 (KAT) Izraelské kmene vyslali mužov k celému Benjamínovmu kmeňu s odkazom: „Aký je to zločin, ktorý sa stal u vás?!
12 (UKJV) And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, What wickedness is this that is done among you?

13 (HEM) ועתה תנו את האנשים בני בליעל אשר בגבעה ונמיתם ונבערה רעה מישראל ולא אבו בנימן לשמע בקול אחיהם בני ישראל׃
13 (KAT) Preto teraz vydajte tých mužov, zlosynov Gabay, aby sme ich usmrtili a odstránili zlo z Izraela.“ Ale Benjamínovci nedali nič na výzvu svojich bratov, Izraelitov,
13 (UKJV) Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel.

14 (HEM) ויאספו בני בנימן מן הערים הגבעתה לצאת למלחמה עם בני ישראל׃
14 (KAT) ale zo všetkých svojich miest sa zišli do Gabay, aby vytiahli do boja proti Izraelovým synom.
14 (UKJV) But the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together out of the cities unto Gibeah, to go out to battle against the children of Israel.

15 (HEM) ויתפקדו בני בנימן ביום ההוא מהערים עשרים וששה אלף איש שלף חרב לבד מישבי הגבעה התפקדו שבע מאות איש בחור׃
15 (KAT) Benjamínovcov, iba z miest, napočítali v ten deň dvadsaťšesťtisíc mužov vyzbrojených mečom, okrem obyvateľov Gabay, ktorých napočítali sedemsto vybraných mužov.
15 (UKJV) And the children of Benjamin were numbered at that time out of the cities twenty and six thousand men that drew sword, beside the inhabitants of Gibeah, which were numbered seven hundred chosen men.

16 (HEM) מכל העם הזה שבע מאות איש בחור אטר יד ימינו כל זה קלע באבן אל השערה ולא יחטא׃
16 (KAT) Medzi všetkými týmito ľuďmi bolo sedemsto vybraných mužov ľavorukých. Títo všetci hádzali kameňom navlas bezchybne.
16 (UKJV) "Among all this people there were seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair breadth, and not miss. "

17 (HEM) ואיש ישראל התפקדו לבד מבנימן ארבע מאות אלף איש שלף חרב כל זה איש מלחמה׃
17 (KAT) Izraelského mužstva, bez Benjamínovcov, napočítali štyristotisíc mužov vyzbrojených mečom. Boli to všetko udatní bojovníci.
17 (UKJV) And the men of Israel, beside Benjamin, were numbered four hundred thousand men that drew sword: all these were men of war.

18 (HEM) ויקמו ויעלו בית אל וישאלו באלהים ויאמרו בני ישראל מי יעלה לנו בתחלה למלחמה עם בני בנימן ויאמר יהוה יהודה בתחלה׃
18 (KAT) I vstali, šli do Betela a dopytovali sa Boha. Izraeliti sa pýtali: „Kto z nás má prvý vytiahnuť do boja proti Benjamínovcom?“ Pán odpovedal: „Júda najsamprv!“
18 (UKJV) And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the LORD said, Judah shall go up first.

19 (HEM) ויקומו בני ישראל בבקר ויחנו על הגבעה׃
19 (KAT) Ráno Izraeliti vstali a utáborili sa pred Gabaou.
19 (UKJV) And the children of Israel rose up in the morning, and encamped against Gibeah.

20 (HEM) ויצא איש ישראל למלחמה עם בנימן ויערכו אתם איש ישראל מלחמה אל הגבעה׃
20 (KAT) Izraeliti teda vytiahli do boja proti Benjamínovcom. A izraelské mužstvo zaujalo bojové postavenie pred Gabaou.
20 (UKJV) "And the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array to fight against them at Gibeah. "

21 (HEM) ויצאו בני בנימן מן הגבעה וישחיתו בישראל ביום ההוא שנים ועשרים אלף איש ארצה׃
21 (KAT) Vtom však Benjamínovci vyrazili z Gabay a v ten deň položili na zem dvadsaťdvatisíc mužov z Izraelitov.
21 (UKJV) And the children of Benjamin came forth out of Gibeah, and destroyed down to the ground of the Israelites that day twenty and two thousand men.

22 (HEM) ויתחזק העם איש ישראל ויספו לערך מלחמה במקום אשר ערכו שם ביום הראשון׃
22 (KAT) Ale izraelské mužstvo sa vzchopilo a ešte raz zaujalo bojové postavenie na tom mieste, kde sa zriaďovalo v prvý deň.
22 (UKJV) And the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again in array in the place where they put themselves in array the first day.

23 (HEM) ויעלו בני ישראל ויבכו לפני יהוה עד הערב וישאלו ביהוה לאמר האוסיף לגשת למלחמה עם בני בנימן אחי ויאמר יהוה עלו אליו׃
23 (KAT) Ale Izraeliti najprv šli a plakali až do večera pred Pánom. Potom sa opýtali Pána: „Máme ešte raz vytiahnuť do boja proti našim bratom Benjamínovcom?“ Pán odpovedal: „Vytiahnite proti nim!“
23 (UKJV) (And the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.)

24 (HEM) ויקרבו בני ישראל אל בני בנימן ביום השני׃
24 (KAT) A na druhý deň Izraeliti zaútočili na Benjamínovcov.
24 (UKJV) And the children of Israel came near against the children of Benjamin the second day.

25 (HEM) ויצא בנימן לקראתם מן הגבעה ביום השני וישחיתו בבני ישראל עוד שמנת עשר אלף איש ארצה כל אלה שלפי חרב׃
25 (KAT) Lenže aj na druhý deň vyrazili proti nim Benjamínovci z Gabay a položili z Izraelitov na zem ešte osemnásťtisíc mužov, všetko vyzbrojených mečom.
25 (UKJV) "And Benjamin went forth against them out of Gibeah the second day, and destroyed down to the ground of the children of Israel again eighteen thousand men; all these drew the sword. "

26 (HEM) ויעלו כל בני ישראל וכל העם ויבאו בית אל ויבכו וישבו שם לפני יהוה ויצומו ביום ההוא עד הערב ויעלו עלות ושלמים לפני יהוה׃
26 (KAT) Tu vytiahli všetci Izraeliti, všetok ľud, a prišli do Betela. Plakali a zostali tam pred Pánom, postili sa v ten deň až do večera a obetovali Pánovi zápalné a pokojné obety.
26 (UKJV) Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until even, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

27 (HEM) וישאלו בני ישראל ביהוה ושם ארון ברית האלהים בימים ההם׃
27 (KAT) Potom sa Izraeliti pýtali Pána - v tých dňoch tam totiž bola archa Pánovej zmluvy
27 (UKJV) And the children of Israel enquired of the LORD, (for the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,

28 (HEM) ופינחס בן אלעזר בן אהרן עמד לפניו בימים ההם לאמר האוסף עוד לצאת למלחמה עם בני בנימן אחי אם אחדל ויאמר יהוה עלו כי מחר אתננו בידך׃
28 (KAT) a Finés, syn Áronovho syna Eleazara, konal v tých dňoch pred ňou službu - a vraveli: „Máme ešte raz vytiahnuť do boja proti našim bratom Benjamínovcom? Alebo sa máme toho vzdať?“ Pán odpovedal: „Vytiahnite! Lebo zajtra ich vydám do vašej ruky.“
28 (UKJV) "And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; in order to morrow I will deliver them into your hand. "

29 (HEM) וישם ישראל ארבים אל הגבעה סביב׃
29 (KAT) Nato Izraeliti postavili ľudí do zálohy okolo Gabay.
29 (UKJV) And Israel set hidden attackers in wait round about Gibeah.

30 (HEM) ויעלו בני ישראל אל בני בנימן ביום השלישי ויערכו אל הגבעה כפעם בפעם׃
30 (KAT) Na tretí deň vytiahli Izraeliti proti Benjamínovcom a zriadili sa ako predošlé razy do bojového postavenia proti Gabae.
30 (UKJV) And the children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third day, and put themselves in array against Gibeah, as at other times.

31 (HEM) ויצאו בני בנימן לקראת העם הנתקו מן העיר ויחלו להכות מהעם חללים כפעם בפעם במסלות אשר אחת עלה בית אל ואחת גבעתה בשדה כשלשים איש בישראל׃
31 (KAT) Benjamínovci vyrazili proti ľudu, dali sa odrezať od mesta a začali na cestách, z ktorých jedna stúpala do Betela a druhá cez pole do Gabay, zabíjať - ako predošlé razy - niektorých z ľudu, asi tridsať mužov z Izraelitov.
31 (UKJV) "And the children of Benjamin went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to strike of the people, and kill, as at other times, in the highways, of which one goes up to the house of God, and the other to Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel. "

32 (HEM) ויאמרו בני בנימן נגפים הם לפנינו כבראשנה ובני ישראל אמרו ננוסה ונתקנהו מן העיר אל המסלות׃
32 (KAT) Benjamínovci sa domnievali: „Porazili sme ich ako prvý raz.“ Izraeliti sa však dohovorili: „Dáme sa na útek, aby sme ich vylákali od mesta na cesty.“
32 (UKJV) And the children of Benjamin said, They are smitten down before us, as at the first. But the children of Israel said, Let us flee, and draw them from the city unto the highways.

33 (HEM) וכל איש ישראל קמו ממקומו ויערכו בבעל תמר וארב ישראל מגיח ממקמו ממערה גבע׃
33 (KAT) Všetci Izraeliti teda vstali zo svojich stanovíšť a zriadili sa pri Báltamare. Izraelská záloha zas vyrazila zo svojho stanovišťa, západne od Gabay.
33 (UKJV) And all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and put themselves in array at Baaltamar: and the hidden attackers in wait of Israel came forth out of their places, even out of the meadows of Gibeah.

34 (HEM) ויבאו מנגד לגבעה עשרת אלפים איש בחור מכל ישראל והמלחמה כבדה והם לא ידעו כי נגעת עליהם הרעה׃
34 (KAT) Tak pritiahlo pred Gabau desaťtisíc mužov vybraných z celého Izraela a nastal tuhý boj. Tamtí však netušili, že ich zastihla pohroma.
34 (UKJV) And there came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore: but they knew not that evil was near them.

35 (HEM) ויגף יהוה את בנימן לפני ישראל וישחיתו בני ישראל בבנימן ביום ההוא עשרים וחמשה אלף ומאה איש כל אלה שלף חרב׃
35 (KAT) Pán pomocou Izraelitov porazil Benjamínovcov. V ten deň Izraeliti pobili z Benjamínovcov dvadsaťpäťtisícsto mužov, všetko vyzbrojených mečom.
35 (UKJV) And the LORD stroke Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.

36 (HEM) ויראו בני בנימן כי נגפו ויתנו איש ישראל מקום לבנימן כי בטחו אל הארב אשר שמו אל הגבעה׃
36 (KAT) Benjamínovci videli, že sú porazení. - Izraeliti totiž ustupovali pred Benjamínovcami, lebo sa spoliehali na zálohu, ktorú postavili proti Gabae.
36 (UKJV) So the children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten: for the men of Israel gave place to the Benjamites, because they trusted unto the hidden attackers in wait which they had set beside Gibeah.

37 (HEM) והארב החישו ויפשטו אל הגבעה וימשך הארב ויך את כל העיר לפי חרב׃
37 (KAT) Záloha náhle vyrazila na Gabau a záloha vnikla a pobila celé mesto ostrím meča.
37 (UKJV) "And the hidden attackers in wait hasted, and rushed upon Gibeah; and the hidden attackers in wait drew themselves along, and stroke all the city with the edge of the sword. "

38 (HEM) והמועד היה לאיש ישראל עם הארב הרב להעלותם משאת העשן מן העיר׃
38 (KAT) Izraeliti sa uzhovorili so záložníkmi, že nechajú z mesta vystúpiť chumáč dymu.
38 (UKJV) Now there was an appointed sign between the men of Israel and the hidden attackers in wait, that they should make a great flame with smoke rise up out of the city.

39 (HEM) ויהפך איש ישראל במלחמה ובנימן החל להכות חללים באיש ישראל כשלשים איש כי אמרו אך נגוף נגף הוא לפנינו כמלחמה הראשנה׃
39 (KAT) Keď sa Izraeliti v boji obzreli - práve začali Benjamínovci niektorých z Izraelitov biť a zabili asi tridsať mužov v domnienke, že ich už porazili ako v prvom boji -,
39 (UKJV) And when the men of Israel retired in the battle, Benjamin began to strike and kill of the men of Israel about thirty persons: for they said, Surely they are smitten down before us, as in the first battle.

40 (HEM) והמשאת החלה לעלות מן העיר עמוד עשן ויפן בנימן אחריו והנה עלה כליל העיר השמימה׃
40 (KAT) začal už z mesta vystupovať chumáč dymu. Keď sa Benjamínovci obzreli, bolo už celé mesto v nebotyčných plameňoch.
40 (UKJV) But when the flame began to arise up out of the city with a pillar of smoke, the Benjamites looked behind them, and, behold, the flame of the city ascended up to heaven.

41 (HEM) ואיש ישראל הפך ויבהל איש בנימן כי ראה כי נגעה עליו הרעה׃
41 (KAT) Tu sa Izraeliti obrátili, ale Benjamínovci sa preľakli, lebo videli, že ich zastihla pohroma.
41 (UKJV) And when the men of Israel turned again, the men of Benjamin were amazed: for they saw that evil was come upon them.

42 (HEM) ויפנו לפני איש ישראל אל דרך המדבר והמלחמה הדביקתהו ואשר מהערים משחיתים אותו בתוכו׃
42 (KAT) A dali sa na útek pred Izraelitmi smerom na púšť. Ale boj ich aj tak zasiahol. Tí, ktorí došli z mesta, sekali ich v strede.
42 (UKJV) "Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them; and them which came out of the cities they destroyed in the midst of them. "

43 (HEM) כתרו את בנימן הרדיפהו מנוחה הדריכהו עד נכח הגבעה ממזרח שמש׃
43 (KAT) Obkľúčili Benjamínovcov, prenasledovali ich a bili ich na východe až po samu Gabau.
43 (UKJV) Thus they enclosed the Benjamites round about, and chased them, and trode them down with ease opposite to Gibeah toward the sunrising.

44 (HEM) ויפלו מבנימן שמנה עשר אלף איש את כל אלה אנשי חיל׃
44 (KAT) Pritom padlo z Benjamínovcov osemnásťtisíc mužov, všetko udatných bojovníkov.
44 (UKJV) "And there fell of Benjamin eighteen thousand men; all these were men of valour. "

45 (HEM) ויפנו וינסו המדברה אל סלע הרמון ויעללהו במסלות חמשת אלפים איש וידביקו אחריו עד גדעם ויכו ממנו אלפים איש׃
45 (KAT) Opäť sa obrátili a utekali na púšť ku skale Remon. Ale na cestách napaberkovali z nich ešte päťtisíc mužov. Prenasledovali ich ďalej až po Gidom a zabili z nich ešte dvetisíc mužov.
45 (UKJV) "And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon: and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men; and pursued hard after them unto Gidom, and slew two thousand men of them. "

46 (HEM) ויהי כל הנפלים מבנימן עשרים וחמשה אלף איש שלף חרב ביום ההוא את כל אלה אנשי חיל׃
46 (KAT) Všetkých padlých Benjamínovcov bolo v ten deň dvadsaťpäťtisíc mužov, všetko udatných bojovníkov vyzbrojených mečom.
46 (UKJV) "So that all which fell that day of Benjamin were twenty and five thousand men that drew the sword; all these were men of valour. "

47 (HEM) ויפנו וינסו המדברה אל סלע הרמון שש מאות איש וישבו בסלע רמון ארבעה חדשים׃
47 (KAT) Na púšť ku skale Remon sa podarilo utiecť iba šesťsto mužom. A zostali na skale Remon štyri mesiace.
47 (UKJV) But six hundred men turned and fled to the wilderness unto the rock Rimmon, and abode in the rock Rimmon four months.

48 (HEM) ואיש ישראל שבו אל בני בנימן ויכום לפי חרב מעיר מתם עד בהמה עד כל הנמצא גם כל הערים הנמצאות שלחו באש׃
48 (KAT) Izraeliti sa potom vrátili k Benjamínovcom a pobili ich ostrím meča od mužov až po dobytok, vôbec všetko, čo sa našlo v mestách. A všetky mestá, ktoré našli, vypálili ohňom.
48 (UKJV) And the men of Israel turned again upon the children of Benjamin, and stroke them with the edge of the sword, as well the men of every city, as the beast, and all that came to hand: also they set on fire all the cities that they came to.
