1 (HEM) ויהי בימים ההם ומלך אין בישראל ויהי איש לוי גר בירכתי הר אפרים ויקח לו אשה פילגש מבית לחם יהודה׃
1 (KAT) V čase, keď nebolo v Izraeli kráľa, osadil sa istý levita ako cudzí v zadných končinách Efraimského pohoria a vzal si vedľajšiu ženu z Júdovho Betlehema.
1 (UKJV) And it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehemjudah.

2 (HEM) ותזנה עליו פילגשו ותלך מאתו אל בית אביה אל בית לחם יהודה ותהי שם ימים ארבעה חדשים׃
2 (KAT) Vedľajšia žena sa naň nahnevala a odišla od neho do domu svojho otca, do Júdovho Betlehema. Bola tam už štyri mesiace,
2 (UKJV) And his concubine played the whore against him, and went away from him unto her father's house to Bethlehemjudah, and was there four whole months.

3 (HEM) ויקם אישה וילך אחריה לדבר על לבה להשיבו ונערו עמו וצמד חמרים ותביאהו בית אביה ויראהו אבי הנערה וישמח לקראתו׃
3 (KAT) keď sa jej muž vybral za ňou, aby si ju naklonil srdečným prehováraním k návratu. Mal so sebou svojho sluhu a dva osly. Keď ho uviedla do domu svojho otca a otec dievčaťa ho zazrel, vyšiel mu radostne v ústrety.
3 (UKJV) And her husband arose, and went after her, to speak friendly unto her, and to bring her again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him into her father's house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him.

4 (HEM) ויחזק בו חתנו אבי הנערה וישב אתו שלשת ימים ויאכלו וישתו וילינו שם׃
4 (KAT) A keď jeho tesť, otec dievčaťa, na neho naliehal, zostal u neho tri dni. Jedli a popíjali si a nocovali tam.
4 (UKJV) "And his father in law, the damsel's father, retained him; and he abode with him three days: so they did eat and drink, and lodged there. "

5 (HEM) ויהי ביום הרביעי וישכימו בבקר ויקם ללכת ויאמר אבי הנערה אל חתנו סעד לבך פת לחם ואחר תלכו׃
5 (KAT) Na štvrtý deň včasráno vstali a keď sa chystal na cestu, povedal otec dievčaťa svojmu zaťovi: „Posilni sa ešte kúskom chleba! Potom pôjdete!“
5 (UKJV) And it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and the damsel's father said unto his son in law, Comfort your heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward go your way.

6 (HEM) וישבו ויאכלו שניהם יחדו וישתו ויאמר אבי הנערה אל האיש הואל נא ולין ויטב לבך׃
6 (KAT) Nato si sadli a obidvaja jedli a pili. Potom povedal otec dievčaťa mužovi: „Ale zostaň ešte na noc! Zabav sa!“
6 (UKJV) And they sat down, and did eat and drink both of them together: for the damsel's father had said unto the man, Be content, I pray you, and tarry all night, and let your heart be merry.

7 (HEM) ויקם האיש ללכת ויפצר בו חתנו וישב וילן שם׃
7 (KAT) A muž aj vstal, aby sa vydal na cestu, ale keď jeho tesť opäť na neho naliehal, zostal a prenocoval tam.
7 (UKJV) And when the man rose up to depart, his father in law urged him: therefore he lodged there again.

8 (HEM) וישכם בבקר ביום החמישי ללכת ויאמר אבי הנערה סעד נא לבבך והתמהמהו עד נטות היום ויאכלו שניהם׃
8 (KAT) Na piaty deň včasráno vstali a keď sa chystal na cestu, povedal otec dievčaťa: „Posilni sa najprv! Vyčkaj, až sa deň schýli!“ A zas jedli obidvaja.
8 (UKJV) "And he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart; and the damsel's father said, Comfort your heart, I pray you. And they tarried until afternoon, and they did eat both of them. "

9 (HEM) ויקם האיש ללכת הוא ופילגשו ונערו ויאמר לו חתנו אבי הנערה הנה נא רפה היום לערב לינו נא הנה חנות היום לין פה וייטב לבבך והשכמתם מחר לדרככם והלכת לאהלך׃
9 (KAT) Keď však muž vstal, aby sa vydal na cestu so svojou vedľajšou ženou a so svojím sluhom, povedal mu jeho tesť, otec dievčaťa: „Hľa, deň sa už schýlil. Zvečerieva sa! Prenocujže tu! Zajtra včasráno vstanete, vydáte sa na cestu a dostaneš sa do svojho stanu.“
9 (UKJV) "And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father in law, the damsel's father, said unto him, Behold, now the day draws toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day grows to an end, lodge here, that your heart may be merry; and tomorrow get you early on your way, that you may go home. "

10 (HEM) ולא אבה האיש ללון ויקם וילך ויבא עד נכח יבוס היא ירושלם ועמו צמד חמורים חבושים ופילגשו עמו׃
10 (KAT) Ale muž už nechcel zostať na noc, lež vstal a odišiel. Tak sa dostal až do blízkosti Jebuza, to jest Jeruzalema. So sebou mal dva osedlané osly. Jeho vedľajšia žena bola tiež pri ňom.
10 (UKJV) "But the man would not tarry that night, but he rose up and departed, and came opposite to Jebus, which is Jerusalem; and there were with him two asses saddled, his concubine also was with him. "

11 (HEM) הם עם יבוס והיום רד מאד ויאמר הנער אל אדניו לכה נא ונסורה אל עיר היבוסי הזאת ונלין בה׃
11 (KAT) Keď boli pri Jebuze - a deň sa už značne schýlil -, povedal sluha svojmu pánovi: „Poď, uchýľme sa do mesta Jebuzejov a prenocujme v ňom!“
11 (UKJV) "And when they were by Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said unto his master, Come, I pray you, and let us turn in into this city of the Jebusites, and lodge in it. "

12 (HEM) ויאמר אליו אדניו לא נסור אל עיר נכרי אשר לא מבני ישראל הנה ועברנו עד גבעה׃
12 (KAT) Ale jeho pán mu odvetil: „Neuchýlime sa ta - do mesta cudzincov, ktorí nie sú z Izraelových synov -, ale pôjdeme ďalej až do Gabay.“
12 (UKJV) "And his master said unto him, We will not turn aside here into the city of a stranger, that is not of the children of Israel; we will pass over to Gibeah. "

13 (HEM) ויאמר לנערו לך ונקרבה באחד המקמות ולנו בגבעה או ברמה׃
13 (KAT) Potom povedal svojmu sluhovi: „Poď, zájdeme do niektorej dediny a prenocujeme či už v Gabae alebo v Rame.“
13 (UKJV) And he said unto his servant, Come, and let us draw near to one of these places to lodge all night, in Gibeah, or in Ramah.

14 (HEM) ויעברו וילכו ותבא להם השמש אצל הגבעה אשר לבנימן׃
14 (KAT) A uberali sa svojou cestou ďalej. Pri Gabae, ktorá patrí Benjamínovi, zapadlo im slnko.
14 (UKJV) "And they passed on and went their way; and the sun went down upon them when they were by Gibeah, which belongs to Benjamin. "

15 (HEM) ויסרו שם לבוא ללון בגבעה ויבא וישב ברחוב העיר ואין איש מאסף אותם הביתה ללון׃
15 (KAT) Ta teda odbočili z cesty, aby si zašli na noc do Gabay. Keď však vošiel a zložil sa na námestí mesta, nebolo nikoho, kto by ich bol prijal do domu na nocľah.
15 (UKJV) And they turned aside thither, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat him down in a street of the city: for there was no man that took them into his house to lodging.

16 (HEM) והנה איש זקן בא מן מעשהו מן השדה בערב והאיש מהר אפרים והוא גר בגבעה ואנשי המקום בני ימיני׃
16 (KAT) Tu zvečera prichádzal starec z poľa, zo svojej práce. Muž pochádzal z Efraimského pohoria a zdržoval sa ako cudzí v Gabae. Miestni obyvatelia však boli Benjamínovci.
16 (UKJV) "And, behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which was also of mount Ephraim; and he sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites. "

17 (HEM) וישא עיניו וירא את האיש הארח ברחב העיר ויאמר האיש הזקן אנה תלך ומאין תבוא׃
17 (KAT) Keď zdvihol oči, zazrel na námestí mesta pocestného. Starec sa ho spýtal: „Kde ideš? Odkiaľ prichádzaš?“
17 (UKJV) And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a travelling man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Where go you? and whence come you?

18 (HEM) ויאמר אליו עברים אנחנו מבית לחם יהודה עד ירכתי הר אפרים משם אנכי ואלך עד בית לחם יהודה ואת בית יהוה אני הלך ואין איש מאסף אותי הביתה׃
18 (KAT) Odpovedal mu: „Cestujeme z Júdovho Betlehema až do zadných končín Efraimského pohoria. Odtiaľ som. Zašiel som si do Júdovho Betlehema a zasa sa uberám do Pánovho domu. Niet tu však nikoho, kto by ma prijal do domu.
18 (UKJV) "And he said unto him, We are passing from Bethlehemjudah toward the side of mount Ephraim; from thence am I: and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but I am now going to the house of the LORD; and there is no man that receives me to house. "

19 (HEM) וגם תבן גם מספוא יש לחמורינו וגם לחם ויין יש לי ולאמתך ולנער עם עבדיך אין מחסור כל דבר׃
19 (KAT) Máme slamu a obrok pre svojho osla, aj chlieb a víno pre mňa, pre tvoju služobnicu a pre sluhu, ktorý je s tvojím služobníkom. Vôbec nič nám nechýba.“
19 (UKJV) "Yet there is both straw and animal food for our asses; and there is bread and wine also for me, and for your handmaid, and for the young man which is with your servants: there is no lack of any thing. "

20 (HEM) ויאמר האיש הזקן שלום לך רק כל מחסורך עלי רק ברחוב אל תלן׃
20 (KAT) Tu povedal starec: „Pokoj buď s tebou! Ak by ti aj niečo chýbalo, to už bude moja starosť. Na námestí predsa nocovať nemôžeš!“
20 (UKJV) "And the old man said, Peace be with you; howsoever let all your wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street. "

21 (HEM) ויביאהו לביתו ויבול לחמורים וירחצו רגליהם ויאכלו וישתו׃
21 (KAT) Potom ho uviedol do svojho domu a nakŕmil osly. Keď si umyli nohy, jedli a pili.
21 (UKJV) So he brought him into his house, and gave animal food unto the asses: and they washed their feet, and did eat and drink.

22 (HEM) המה מיטיבים את לבם והנה אנשי העיר אנשי בני בליעל נסבו את הבית מתדפקים על הדלת ויאמרו אל האיש בעל הבית הזקן לאמר הוצא את האיש אשר בא אל ביתך ונדענו׃
22 (KAT) Keď už boli v dobrej nálade, tu mužovia z mesta, zlosynovia, obstali dom a ustavične tĺkli na bránu. Vyvolávali na starca, pána domu: „Vyveď muža, čo prišiel do tvojho domu! Chceme s ním obcovať!“
22 (UKJV) Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into your house, that we may know him.

23 (HEM) ויצא אליהם האיש בעל הבית ויאמר אלהם אל אחי אל תרעו נא אחרי אשר בא האיש הזה אל ביתי אל תעשו את הנבלה הזאת׃
23 (KAT) Tu vyšiel k nim muž, pán domu, a vravel im: „Nie, bratia moji! Nerobte nič zlé, keď prišiel ten človek do môjho domu! Nedopustíte sa predsa takej nehanebnosti!
23 (UKJV) "And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man has come into mine house, do not this folly. "

24 (HEM) הנה בתי הבתולה ופילגשהו אוציאה נא אותם וענו אותם ועשו להם הטוב בעיניכם ולאיש הזה לא תעשו דבר הנבלה הזאת׃
24 (KAT) Mám však dcéru, pannu, a on zas vedľajšiu ženu. Môžem vám ich vyviesť. Tie znásilnite a urobte s nimi, ako sa vám ľúbi. Ale na tomto mužovi sa nedopustite takej nehanebnosti!“
24 (UKJV) "Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble all of you them, and do with them what seems good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing. "

25 (HEM) ולא אבו האנשים לשמע לו ויחזק האיש בפילגשו ויצא אליהם החוץ וידעו אותה ויתעללו בה כל הלילה עד הבקר וישלחוה בעלות השחר׃
25 (KAT) Keďže mužovia ho nechceli ani len vypočuť, vzal muž svoju vedľajšiu manželku a vyviedol im ju von na ulicu. Zneužívali ju a ukájali si na nej svoje chúťky celú noc až do rána. Prepustili ju až pri východe zorničky.
25 (UKJV) "But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they had sexual contact with her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go. "

26 (HEM) ותבא האשה לפנות הבקר ותפל פתח בית האיש אשר אדוניה שם עד האור׃
26 (KAT) Nad ránom sa žena pokúšala vojsť, ale klesla pred dvermi domu muža, u ktorého bol jej pán, a zostala tam až do rozvidnenia.
26 (UKJV) Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light.

27 (HEM) ויקם אדניה בבקר ויפתח דלתות הבית ויצא ללכת לדרכו והנה האשה פילגשו נפלת פתח הבית וידיה על הסף׃
27 (KAT) Ráno jej pán vstal, otvoril dvere domu a keď vyšiel, aby sa vydal na cestu, jeho vedľajšia žena ležala predo dvermi domu s rukami na prahu!
27 (UKJV) And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.

28 (HEM) ויאמר אליה קומי ונלכה ואין ענה ויקחה על החמור ויקם האיש וילך למקמו׃
28 (KAT) Volal na ňu: „Vstaň! Pôjdeme!“ Ale nik mu neodpovedal. Tu ju vzal na osla, muž sa pobral a šiel do svojho bydliska.
28 (UKJV) And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and got him unto his place.

29 (HEM) ויבא אל ביתו ויקח את המאכלת ויחזק בפילגשו וינתחה לעצמיה לשנים עשר נתחים וישלחה בכל גבול ישראל׃
29 (KAT) Keď prišiel do svojho domu, vzal nôž, chytil svoju vedľajšiu ženu, rozsekal úd za údom na dvanásť kusov a rozposlal ich po celom Izraelovom území.
29 (UKJV) And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.

30 (HEM) והיה כל הראה ואמר לא נהיתה ולא נראתה כזאת למיום עלות בני ישראל מארץ מצרים עד היום הזה שימו לכם עליה עצו ודברו׃
30 (KAT) Každý, kto to videl, hovoril: „Také niečo sa ešte nestalo, ani nebolo vidieť odo dňa, keď vyšli Izraelovi synovia z krajiny Egypťanov, až podnes. Premýšľajte o tom, poraďte sa a vravte!“
30 (UKJV) And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.
