Sdc 18, 1-31

1 (UKJV) "In those days there was no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel. "

2 (KAT) Preto vyslali Danovci zo svojich rodov päť mužov, mužov veľmi udatných zo svojho najjužnejšieho pohraničia, zo Saray a Estaola, aby preskúmali krajinu a oboznámili sa s ňou. Povedali im: „Choďte a obzrite krajinu!“ Tak prišli na Efraimské pohorie do Michovho domu, aby tam prenocovali.
2 (UKJV) "And the children of Dan sent of their family five men from their coasts, men of valour, from Zorah, and from Eshtaol, to spy out the land, and to search it; and they said unto them, Go, search the land: who when they came to mount Ephraim, to the house of Micah, they lodged there. "

3 (KAT) Keď boli neďaleko Michovho domu a po hlase spoznali mladého levitu, zastavili sa tam a vypytovali sa ho: „Kto ťa sem priviedol? Čo tu robíš? A čo tu hľadáš?“
3 (VUL) Cum essent prope domum Michae, agnoscentes vocem adulescentis Levitae declinaverant illuc dicentes ad eum: “ Quis te huc adduxit? Quid hic agis? Quam ob causam huc venire voluisti? ”.
3 (UKJV) When they were by the house of Micah, they knew the voice of the young man the Levite: and they turned in thither, and said unto him, Who brought you here? and what make you in this place? and what have you here?

4 (KAT) Odpovedal im: „To a to mi urobil Micha.
4 (UKJV) And he said unto them, Thus and thus deals Micah with me, and has hired me, and I am his priest.

5 (UKJV) And they said unto him, Ask counsel, we pray you, of God, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be prosperous.

6 (UKJV) And the priest said unto them, Go in peace: before the LORD is your way wherein all of you go.

7 (KAT) Tak sa tí piati mužovia pobrali ďalej, až prišli do Lais. A videli tam ľudí, ktorí bývali podľa spôsobu Sidončanov bezstarostne, ticho a pokojne.
7 (VUL) Euntes itaque quinque viri venerunt Lais videruntque populum habitantem in ea absque ullo timore iuxta Sidoniorum consuetudinem, securum et quietum, nullo eis penitus resistente, magnarumque opum et procul a Sidoniis neque in societate cum Syria.
7 (UKJV) "Then the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate in the land, that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no business with any man. "

8 (KAT) Keď sa vrátili k svojim bratom do Saray a Estaolu, ich bratia sa ich pýtali: „Ako ste pochodili?“
8 (UKJV) And they came unto their brethren to Zorah and Eshtaol: and their brethren said unto them, What say all of you?

9 (KAT) Odpovedali: „Hor' sa! Vytiahnime proti nim! Treba len vyraziť a krajinu zaujať!
9 (UKJV) And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them: for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are all of you still? be not slothful to go, and to enter to possess the land.

10 (UKJV) "When all of you go, all of you shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God has given it into your hands; a place where there is no lack of any thing that is in the earth. "

11 (KAT) Vytiahlo teda odtiaľ - z kmeňa Danovcov, zo Saray a Estaola - šesťsto mužov vyzbrojených do boja.
11 (UKJV) And there went from thence of the family of the Danites, out of Zorah and out of Eshtaol, six hundred men appointed with weapons of war.

12 (KAT) Na svojom pochode táborili v Kirjatiarime v Júdsku. Preto sa to miesto nazýva Machane-Dan (“Tábor Danovcov“) až podnes.
12 (UKJV) And they went up, and pitched in Kirjathjearim, in Judah: wherefore they called that place Mahanehdan unto this day: behold, it is behind Kirjathjearim.

13 (KAT) Odtiaľ tiahli ďalej na Efraimské pohorie a došli k Michovmu domu.
13 (VUL) Inde transierunt in montem Ephraim. Cumque venissent usque ad domum Michae,
13 (UKJV) And they passed thence unto mount Ephraim, and came unto the house of Micah.

14 (UKJV) Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do all of you know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what all of you have to do.

15 (KAT) Zabočili ta, vošli do domu mladého levitu, do Michovho domu, a pozdravili ho.
15 (VUL) Et, cum paululum declinassent, ingressi sunt domum adulescentis Levitae, domum Michae, salutaveruntque eum verbis pacificis.
15 (UKJV) And they turned in that direction, and came to the house of the young man the Levite, even unto the house of Micah, and saluted him.

16 (UKJV) And the six hundred men appointed with their weapons of war, which were of the children of Dan, stood by the entering of the gate.

17 (KAT) Piati mužovia, ktorí boli na výzvedy v krajine, vstúpili a vnikli dnu, aby vzali modlu s obťahom, efód a terafim.
17 (UKJV) And the five men that went to spy out the land went up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men that were appointed with weapons of war.

18 (KAT) Keď vošli do Michovho domu a odnášali modlu s obťahom, efód a terafim, opýtal sa ich kňaz: „Čo to robíte?“
Quibus dixit sacerdos: “ Quid facitis? ”.
18 (UKJV) And these went into Micah's house, and fetched the carved image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image. Then said the priest unto them, What do all of you?

19 (KAT) Odpovedali mu: „Mlč! Polož si ruku na ústa! Poď s nami a buď nám otcom a kňazom!
19 (UKJV) And they said unto him, Hold your peace, lay your hand upon your mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for you to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that you be a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel?

20 (KAT) Pritom sa kňazova myseľ rozjasnila. Vzal efód, terafim i modlu a pripojil sa k ľudu.
20 (UKJV) And the priest's heart was glad, and he took the ephod, and the teraphim, and the graven image, and went in the midst of the people.

21 (KAT) Nato odtiahli a išli ďalej. Deti, stáda a cennosti pustili napred.
21 (UKJV) So they turned and departed, and put the little ones and the cattle and the carriage before them.

22 (VUL) iamque a domo Michae essent procul, viri, qui habitabant in aedibus prope domum Michae, convocati secuti sunt filios Dan
22 (UKJV) And when they were a good way from the house of Micah, the men that were in the houses near to Micah's house were gathered together, and overtook the children of Dan.

Cur concurritis? ”.
23 (UKJV) And they cried unto the children of Dan. And they turned their faces, and said unto Micah, What disturbs you, that you come with such a company?

24 (UKJV) And he said, All of you have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and all of you are gone away: and what have I more? and what is this that all of you say unto me, What disturbs you?

25 (UKJV) And the children of Dan said unto him, Let not your voice be heard among us, lest angry fellows run upon you, and you lose your life, with the lives of your household.

26 (KAT) A Danovci šli svojou cestou.
26 (VUL) Et sic, coepto itinere, perrexerunt.
26 (UKJV) And the children of Dan went their way: and when Micah saw that they were too strong for him, he turned and went back unto his house.

Pobili ich mečom a mesto vypálili.
27 (UKJV) And they took the things which Micah had made, and the priest which he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people that were resting and secure: and they stroke them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire.

28 (KAT) Ale nik mu neprišiel na pomoc, lebo ležalo ďaleko od Sidona a nemalo nijakého spojenia so svetom. Ležalo totiž v údolí Bet-Rohob. Potom si mesto postavili a usadili sa v ňom.
28 (UKJV) "And there was no deliverer, because it was far from Zidon, and they had no business with any man; and it was in the valley that lies by Bethrehob. And they built a city, and dwelt therein. "

29 (VUL) vocato nomine civitatis Dan iuxta vocabulum patris sui, quem genuerat Israel, quae prius Lais dicebatur.
29 (UKJV) And they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born unto Israel: nevertheless the name of the city was Laish at the first.

30 (KAT) Nato si Danovci postavili modlu a Jonatán, syn Manassesovho syna Gersona, a jeho synovia boli kňazmi až do dňa, keď bola krajina vyľudnená.
30 (VUL) Posueruntque sibi sculptile; et Ionathan filius Gersam filii Moysi ac filii eius sacerdotes erant in tribu Dan usque ad diem captivitatis terrae;
30 (UKJV) And the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land.

31 (KAT) Vystavovali si Michovu modlu, ktorú on urobil, celý čas, čo bol Boží dom v Šíle.
31 (VUL) mansitque apud eos idolum Michae omni tempore, quo fuit domus Dei in Silo.
31 (UKJV) And they set them up Micah's graven image, which he made, all the time that the house of God was in Shiloh.

Sdc 18, 1-31

Verš 1
V tom čase nebolo v Izraeli kráľa. Vtedy si kmeň Danovcov hľadal vlastné územie na osídlenie, lebo až dovtedy mu nepripadol dedičný podiel medzi Izraelovými kmeňmi.
Sdc 17:6 - V tých dňoch nebolo kráľa v Izraeli. Každý si robil, čo sa mu ľúbilo.
Sdc 21:25 - V tých dňoch nebolo v Izraeli kráľa. Každý si robil, čo sa mu páčilo.

Verš 12
Na svojom pochode táborili v Kirjatiarime v Júdsku. Preto sa to miesto nazýva Machane-Dan (“Tábor Danovcov“) až podnes. Je to západne od Kirjatiarima.
Sdc 13:25 - Pánov duch začal v ňom pôsobiť v Machane-Dan medzi Saraou a Estaolom.

Preto Danovi synovia vytiahli a bojovali proti Lesemu. Dobyli ho, vyhubili mečom, obsadili ho a usadili sa v ňom. A nazvali Lesem Danom podľa mena svojho otca Dana.

– Machane-Dan, 13,25.

Sdc 18,12 - Až podnes – porov. pozn. 1,21.

Sdc 18,28 - Pod "údolím" treba rozumieť jordánske údolie severne od Hulského jazera. – Bet-Rohob, mesto v sever. Palestíne (Nm 13,22; 2 Sam 10,6), blízko Jordána na ceste do Ematu; po ňom bolo pomenované celé okolie (Vg: "Krajina Rohob"). – Izrael, t. j. Jakub, ktorého synom bol Dan (Gn 32,29; 30,5 nn.).

Sdc 18,30 - Gerson (hebr.
