3 (UKJV) And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.

4 (HEM) ויהי אחרי כן ויאהב אשה בנחל שרק ושמה דלילה׃
4 (KAT) Potom sa zamiloval do istej ženy v údolí Sorek. Menovala sa Dalila.
4 (UKJV) And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.

5 (HEM) ויעלו אליה סרני פלשתים ויאמרו לה פתי אותו וראי במה כחו גדול ובמה נוכל לו ואסרנהו לענתו ואנחנו נתן לך איש אלף ומאה כסף׃

7 (UKJV) And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green withes that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

8 (HEM) ויעלו לה סרני פלשתים שבעה יתרים לחים אשר לא חרבו ותאסרהו בהם׃
8 (KAT) Filištínski náčelníci jej teda priniesli sedem čerstvých, ešte nevyschnutých šliach, a zviazala ho nimi.
8 (UKJV) Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven green withes which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.

9 (HEM) והארב ישב לה בחדר ותאמר אליו פלשתים עליך שמשון וינתק את היתרים כאשר ינתק פתיל הנערת בהריחו אש ולא נודע כחו׃

10 (HEM) ותאמר דלילה אל שמשון הנה התלת בי ותדבר אלי כזבים עתה הגידה נא לי במה תאסר׃
10 (KAT) Tu povedala Dalila Samsonovi: „Oklamal si ma, luhal si mi! Prezraď mi teraz, čím by ťa bolo treba zviazať!“
10 (UKJV) And Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, you have mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray you, wherewith you might be bound.

11 (HEM) ויאמר אליה אם אסור יאסרוני בעבתים חדשים אשר לא נעשה בהם מלאכה וחליתי והייתי כאחד האדם׃
11 (KAT) Odpovedal jej: „Ak ma niekto zviaže novými, ešte v práci nepoužitými povrazmi, budem slabý a ako ktorýkoľvek človek.“
11 (UKJV) And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

12 (HEM) ותקח דלילה עבתים חדשים ותאסרהו בהם ותאמר אליו פלשתים עליך שמשון והארב ישב בחדר וינתקם מעל זרעתיו כחוט׃
12 (KAT) Dalila teda vzala nové povrazy a zviazala ho nimi. Potom skríkla na neho: „Filištínci (idú) na teba, Samson!“ Zákerníci totiž sedeli v komôrke. On ich však strhol zo svojich ramien ako nejakú niť.

13 (HEM) ותאמר דלילה אל שמשון עד הנה התלת בי ותדבר אלי כזבים הגידה לי במה תאסר ויאמר אליה אם תארגי את שבע מחלפות ראשי עם המסכת׃
13 (KAT) Dalila dohovárala Samsonovi: „Až doteraz si ma klamal a luhal si mi. Prezraď mi už, čím by ťa bolo treba zviazať?“ Odvetil jej: „Ak spletieš sedem vrkočov mojej hlavy s osnovou.“
13 (UKJV) And Delilah said unto Samson, Until now you have mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith you might be bound. And he said unto her, If you weave the seven locks of my head with the web.

14 (HEM) ותתקע ביתד ותאמר אליו פלשתים עליך שמשון וייקץ משנתו ויסע את היתד הארג ואת המסכת׃

15 (UKJV) And she said unto him, How can you say, I love you, when your heart is not with me? you have mocked me these three times, and have not told me wherein your great strength lies.

16 (HEM) ויהי כי הציקה לו בדבריה כל הימים ותאלצהו ותקצר נפשו למות׃
16 (KAT) A keď deň čo deň naliehala svojimi rečami na neho a unúvala ho, že sa mu znechutil život až na smrť,
16 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death; "

17 (HEM) ויגד לה את כל לבו ויאמר לה מורה לא עלה על ראשי כי נזיר אלהים אני מבטן אמי אם גלחתי וסר ממני כחי וחליתי והייתי ככל האדם׃

21 (HEM) ויאחזוהו פלשתים וינקרו את עיניו ויורידו אותו עזתה ויאסרוהו בנחשתים ויהי טוחן בבית האסירים׃

21 (UKJV) "But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house. "

22 (HEM) ויחל שער ראשו לצמח כאשר גלח׃

23 (UKJV) Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together in order to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god has delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

24 (HEM) ויראו אתו העם ויהללו את אלהיהם כי אמרו נתן אלהינו בידנו את אויבנו ואת מחריב ארצנו ואשר הרבה את חללינו׃
24 (KAT) A keď ho ľudia uvideli, velebili svojho boha a vyvolávali: „Náš boh nám dal do ruky nášho nepriateľa, našej krajiny pustošiteľa, vraha mnohých z nás.“
24 (UKJV) And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god has delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.

25 (HEM) ויהי כי טוב לבם ויאמרו קראו לשמשון וישחק לנו ויקראו לשמשון מבית האסירים ויצחק לפניהם ויעמידו אותו בין העמודים׃

25 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars. "

29 (HEM) וילפת שמשון את שני עמודי התוך אשר הבית נכון עליהם ויסמך עליהם אחד בימינו ואחד בשמאלו׃
