1 (KJV) But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in.
1 (SVD) وكان بعد مدّة في ايام حصاد الحنطة ان شمشون افتقد امرأته بجدي معزى. وقال ادخل الى امرأتي الى حجرتها. ولكن اباها لم يدعه ان يدخل.
1 (B21) Za nějaký čas, v době pšeničné sklizně, šel Samson navštívit svou ženu a nesl jí kůzle. "Jdu za svou ženou do ložnice," řekl. Její otec ho tam ale nepustil:

2 (KJV) And her father said, I verily thought that thou hadst utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to thy companion: is not her younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray thee, instead of her.
2 (SVD) وقال ابوها اني قلت انك قد كرهتها فاعطيتها لصاحبك. أليست اختها الصغيرة احسن منها. فلتكن لك عوضا عنها.
2 (B21) "Myslel jsem, že se ti znelíbila, tak jsem ji dal tvému družbovi." Potom mu navrhl: "A co její mladší sestra, ta je přece hezčí. Vezmi si ji místo ní!"

3 (KJV) And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure.
3 (SVD) فقال لهم شمشون اني بريء الآن من الفلسطينيين اذا عملت بهم شرا.
3 (B21) Na to Samson odpověděl: "Tentokrát to nebude má vina, když Filištínům ublížím!"

4 (KJV) And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails.
4 (SVD) وذهب شمشون وامسك ثلاث مئة ابن آوى واخذ مشاعل وجعل ذنبا الى ذنب ووضع مشعلا بين كل ذنبين في الوسط.
4 (B21) Potom šel a pochytal tři sta lišek. Svázal je po dvou ocasy k sobě a mezi ocasy jim vždy připevnil pochodeň.

5 (KJV) And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards and olives.
5 (SVD) ثم اضرم المشاعل نارا واطلقها بين زروع الفلسطينيين فاحرق الاكداس والزرع وكروم الزيتون.
5 (B21) Pochodně pak zapálil a vypustil ty lišky Filištínům do obilí. Tak spálil sklizené i nesklizené obilí, ba i vinice a olivy.

6 (KJV) Then the Philistines said, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.
6 (SVD) فقال الفلسطينيون من فعل هذا. فقالوا شمشون صهر التمنّي لانه اخذ امرأته واعطاها لصاحبه. فصعد الفلسطينيون واحرقوها واباها بالنار.
6 (B21) "Kdo to udělal?" ptali se Filištíni. "Samson, zeť toho z Timny," doslechli se. "Prý za to, že mu vzal ženu a dal ji jeho družbovi." A tak Filištíni šli a tu ženu i s jejím otcem upálili.

7 (KJV) And Samson said unto them, Though ye have done this, yet will I be avenged of you, and after that I will cease.
7 (SVD) فقال لهم شمشون ولو فعلتم هذا فاني انتقم منكم وبعد اكفّ.
7 (B21) "Tak vy takhle?" řekl na to Samson. "Teď tedy nepřestanu, dokud se vám nepomstím!"

8 (KJV) And he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.
8 (SVD) وضربهم ساقا على فخذ ضربا عظيما. ثم نزل واقام في شق صخر عيطم
8 (B21) A bil je hlava nehlava; byla to hrozná řež. Potom odešel a usadil se v Etamské jeskyni.

9 (KJV) Then the Philistines went up, and pitched in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.
9 (SVD) وصعد الفلسطينيون ونزلوا في يهوذا وتفرّقوا في لحي.
9 (B21) Filištíni pak vytáhli do boje. Utábořili se v Judsku a chystali se zaútočit na Lechi (to jest Čelist).

10 (KJV) And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us.
10 (SVD) فقال رجال يهوذا لماذا صعدتم علينا. فقالوا صعدنا لكي نوثق شمشون لنفعل به كما فعل بنا.
10 (B21) "Proč jste na nás vytáhli?" ptali se judští muži. "Přišli jsme spoutat Samsona," odpověděli. "Uděláme mu totéž, co udělal nám!"

11 (KJV) Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.
11 (SVD) فنزل ثلاثة آلاف رجل من يهوذا الى شقّ صخر عيطم وقالوا لشمشون أما علمت ان الفلسطينيين متسلطون علينا. فماذا فعلت بنا. فقال لهم كما فعلوا بي هكذا فعلت بهم.
11 (B21) Tři tisíce judských mužů se tedy vypravilo dolů k Etamské jeskyni. "Copak nevíš, že nás Filištíni mají v moci? Cos nám to udělal?" vyčítali Samsonovi. "Udělal jsem jim totéž, co oni mně," odpověděl jim.

12 (KJV) And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
12 (SVD) فقالوا له نزلنا لكي نوثقك ونسلمك الى يد الفلسطينيين. فقال لهم شمشون احلفوا لي انكم انتم لا تقعون عليّ.
12 (B21) "Přišli jsme tě spoutat," řekli mu. "Vydáme tě Filištínům." "Přísahejte, že mi sami neublížíte," odpověděl Samson.

13 (KJV) And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.
13 (SVD) فكلموه قائلين كلا. ولكننا نوثقك ونسلمك الى يدهم وقتلا لا نقتلك. فاوثقوه بحبلين جديدين واصعدوه من الصخرة.
13 (B21) "Neublížíme," řekli mu. "Chceme tě jen spoutat a vydat jim. Zabít tě nechceme." A tak ho spoutali dvěma novými provazy a odvedli ho ze skal.

14 (KJV) And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
14 (SVD) ولما جاء الى لحي صاح الفلسطينيين للقائه. فحلّ عليه روح الرب فكان الحبلان اللذان على ذراعيه ككتان احرق بالنار فانحلّ الوثاق عن يديه.
14 (B21) Když se Samson blížil k Lechi, Filištíni mu s křikem vyrazili naproti. Vtom se ho zmocnil Duch Hospodinův. Provazy na jeho pažích najednou byly jako hořící koudel a pouta mu spadla z rukou.

15 (KJV) And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.
15 (SVD) ووجد لحي حمار طريّا فمدّ يده واخذه وضرب به الف رجل.
15 (B21) Našel čerstvou oslí čelist, popadl ji a pobil s ní tisíc mužů.

16 (KJV) And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.
16 (SVD) فقال شمشون بلحي حمار كومة كومتين. بلحي حمار قتلت الف رجل.
16 (B21) Samson tehdy řekl: "Čelistí osla oslům jsem čelil, čelistí osla tisíc jich skolil!"

17 (KJV) And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramath-lehi.
17 (SVD) ولما فرغ من الكلام رمى اللحي من يده ودعا ذلك المكان رمت لحي
17 (B21) Když domluvil, čelist odhodil a nazval to místo Ramat-lechi, Čelistní vrch.

18 (KJV) And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?
18 (SVD) ثم عطش جدا فدعا الرب وقال انك قد جعلت بيد عبدك هذا الخلاص العظيم والآن اموت من العطش واسقط بيد الغلف.
18 (B21) Samson měl velikou žízeň, a tak volal k Hospodinu: "Po tom skvělém vítězství, které jsi dal svému služebníku, teď musím umřít žízní? To mám padnout do rukou těch neobřezanců?"

19 (KJV) But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof En-hakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.
19 (SVD) فشقّ الله الكفّة التي في لحي فخرج منها ماء فشرب ورجعت روحه فانتعش. لذلك دعا اسمه عين هقّوري التي في لحي الى هذا اليوم.
19 (B21) Bůh tenkrát v Lechi prorazil prohlubeň, ze které vytryskla voda. Samson se napil, pookřál a ožil. Tu studánku proto nazval En-hakore, Pramen volajícího, a ten je v Lechi až dodnes.

20 (KJV) And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.
20 (SVD) وقضى لاسرائيل في ايام الفلسطينيين عشرين سنة
20 (B21) Samson soudil Izrael ve filištínských dobách po dvacet let.
