1 (HEM) ויקם אחרי אבימלך להושיע את ישראל תולע בן פואה בן דודו איש יששכר והוא ישב בשמיר בהר אפרים׃
1 (KAT) Po Abimelechovi povstal Tola, syn Fuu, syna Dodovho, Isacharovec, aby oslobodil Izrael. Býval v Samire na Efraimskom pohorí.

2 (HEM) וישפט את ישראל עשרים ושלש שנה וימת ויקבר בשמיר׃

3 (HEM) ויקם אחריו יאיר הגלעדי וישפט את ישראל עשרים ושתים שנה׃

4 (HEM) ויהי לו שלשים בנים רכבים על שלשים עירים ושלשים עירים להם להם יקראו חות יאיר עד היום הזה אשר בארץ הגלעד׃

5 (HEM) וימת יאיר ויקבר בקמון׃
5 (KAT) Keď Jair zomrel, pochovali ho v Kamone.
5 (UKJV) And Jair died, and was buried in Camon.

6 (HEM) ויספו בני ישראל לעשות הרע בעיני יהוה ויעבדו את הבעלים ואת העשתרות ואת אלהי ארם ואת אלהי צידון ואת אלהי מואב ואת אלהי בני עמון ואת אלהי פלשתים ויעזבו את יהוה ולא עבדוהו׃
6 (KAT) Izraelovi synovia opäť robili, čo je zlé v Pánových očiach: slúžili bálom a aštartám, bohom Aramejčanov, bohom Sidona, bohom Moabčanov, bohom Amončanov a bohom Filištíncov; opustili Pána a neslúžili mu.
6 (UKJV) And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him.

7 (HEM) ויחר אף יהוה בישראל וימכרם ביד פלשתים וביד בני עמון׃

7 (UKJV) And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon.

8 (HEM) וירעצו וירצצו את בני ישראל בשנה ההיא שמנה עשרה שנה את כל בני ישראל אשר בעבר הירדן בארץ האמרי אשר בגלעד׃
8 (KAT) Znepokojovali a utláčali Izraelitov v tom roku už osemnásty rok: všetkých Izraelitov, ktorí boli na druhej strane Jordánu v krajine Amorejčanov, v Galaáde.
8 (UKJV) And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.

9 (HEM) ויעברו בני עמון את הירדן להלחם גם ביהודה ובבנימין ובבית אפרים ותצר לישראל מאד׃

10 (HEM) ויזעקו בני ישראל אל יהוה לאמר חטאנו לך וכי עזבנו את אלהינו ונעבד את הבעלים׃
10 (KAT) Tu volali Izraelovi synovia k Pánovi a vyznávali: „Zhrešili sme proti tebe, lebo sme opustili svojho Boha a slúžili sme bálom.“
10 (UKJV) And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against you, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim.

11 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אל בני ישראל הלא ממצרים ומן האמרי ומן בני עמון ומן פלשתים׃
11 (KAT) Pán však povedal Izraelovým synom: „Nesužovali vás Egypťania, Amorejčania, Amončania, Filištínci,
11 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

12 (HEM) וצידונים ועמלק ומעון לחצו אתכם ותצעקו אלי ואושיעה אתכם מידם׃
12 (KAT) Sidončania, Amalekiti a Madiánčania? Ale keď ste volali ku mne, vyslobodil som vás z ich ruky.
12 (UKJV) "The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and all of you cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand. "

13 (HEM) ואתם עזבתם אותי ותעבדו אלהים אחרים לכן לא אוסיף להושיע אתכם׃
13 (KAT) Vy ste ma však opustili a slúžili ste cudzím bohom. Preto vás už neoslobodím.
13 (UKJV) Yet all of you have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

14 (HEM) לכו וזעקו אל האלהים אשר בחרתם בם המה יושיעו לכם בעת צרתכם׃
14 (KAT) Choďte a volajte k bohom, ktorých ste si vyvolili! Nech vás oslobodia oni v čase vašej úzkosti!“
14 (UKJV) "Go and cry unto the gods which all of you have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation. "

15 (HEM) ויאמרו בני ישראל אל יהוה חטאנו עשה אתה לנו ככל הטוב בעיניך אך הצילנו נא היום הזה׃
15 (KAT) Izraelovi synovia hovorili Pánovi: „Zhrešili sme. Zaobchádzaj s nami tak, ako uznáš za dobré! Len nás ešte teraz vysloboď!“
15 (UKJV) "And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do you unto us whatsoever seems good unto you; deliver us only, we pray you, this day. "

16 (HEM) ויסירו את אלהי הנכר מקרבם ויעבדו את יהוה ותקצר נפשו בעמל ישראל׃
16 (KAT) Nato odstránili zo svojho stredu cudzích bohov a slúžili Pánovi. A zľutoval sa nad biedou Izraela.
16 (UKJV) And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

17 (HEM) ויצעקו בני עמון ויחנו בגלעד ויאספו בני ישראל ויחנו במצפה׃
17 (KAT) Keď boli Amončania zvolaní a táborili v Galaáde, zatiaľ čo Izraelovi synovia sa zhromaždili a utáborili v Masfe,
17 (UKJV) Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpeh.

18 (HEM) ויאמרו העם שרי גלעד איש אל רעהו מי האיש אשר יחל להלחם בבני עמון יהיה לראש לכל ישבי גלעד׃
18 (KAT) hovoril si ľud, galaádske kniežatá, medzi sebou: „Kto je ten muž, ktorý začne bojovať proti Amončanom? Ten bude hlavou všetkých galaádskych obyvateľov.“
18 (UKJV) And the people and princes of Gilead said one to another, What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
