Zjavenie apoštola Jána

1 (KAT) A keď Baránok otvoril siedmu pečať, nastalo v nebi asi pol hodiny ticho.
1 (HEM) וכפתחו החותם השביעי ותהי דממה בשמים כחצי שעה׃
1 (UKJV) And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

2 (KAT) A videl som sedem anjelov, čo stoja pred Bohom a dostali sedem poľníc.
2 (HEM) וארא את שבעת המלאכים אשר עמדו לפני האלהים וינתנו להם שבעה שופרות׃
2 (UKJV) "And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. "

3 (KAT) Prišiel aj iný anjel a zastal pred oltárom so zlatou kadidelnicou. Dostal veľa kadidla, aby ho pridal k modlitbám všetkých svätých na zlatý oltár, čo je pred trónom.
3 (HEM) ויבא מלאך אחר ויגש אל המזבח ומחתת זהב בידו ותנתן לו קטרת הרבה לתתה עם תפלות כל הקדשים על מזבח הזהב אשר לפני הכסא׃
3 (UKJV) "And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. "

4 (KAT) A dym kadidla s modlitbami svätých vystúpil z ruky anjela pred Boha.
4 (HEM) ויעל עשן הקטרת עם תפלות הקדשים מיד המלאך לפני אלהים׃
4 (UKJV) And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

5 (KAT) Potom vzal anjel kadidelnicu, naplnil ju ohňom z oltára a vrhol na zem. A nastalo hrmenie, burácanie, blesky a zemetrasenie.
5 (HEM) ויקח המלאך את המחתה וימלאה אש מעל המזבח וישלך על הארץ ויהי קולות ורעמים וברקים ורעש׃
5 (UKJV) And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 (KAT) A sedem anjelov, čo malo sedem poľníc, sa pripravilo trúbiť.
6 (HEM) ושבעה המלאכים ההם אשר בידם שבעת השופרות התעתדו לתקע׃
6 (UKJV) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 (KAT) Zatrúbil prvý. A nastalo krupobitie a oheň zmiešaný s krvou a padalo to na zem. Tretina zeme zhorela, tretina stromov zhorela a zhorela všetka zelená tráva.
7 (HEM) והמלאך הראשון תקע בשופר ויהי ברד ואש בלולים בדם ותשלך ארצה ותשרף שלישית העץ וכל ירק עשב נשרף׃
7 (UKJV) The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8 (KAT) Zatrúbil druhý anjel. A akoby veľký horiaci vrch bol vrhnutý do mora. Tretina mora sa zmenila na krv
8 (HEM) והמלאך השני תקע בשופר והנה כדמות הר גדול בער באש השלך אל תוך הים ותהי שלישית הים לדם׃
8 (UKJV) "And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; "

9 (KAT) a zahynula tretina tvorov žijúcich v mori a tretina lodí utonula.
9 (HEM) ותמת שלישית כל נפש חיה אשר בים ושלישית האניות נשחתה׃
9 (UKJV) "And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. "

10 (KAT) Zatrúbil tretí anjel. A z neba spadla veľká hviezda, horiaca ako fakľa, a padla na tretinu riek a na pramene vôd.
10 (HEM) והמלאך השלישי תקע בשופר ויפל מן השמים כוכב גדול בער כלפיד ויפל על שלישית הנהרות ועל מעינות המים׃
10 (UKJV) "And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; "

11 (KAT) Tá hviezda sa volá Palina. Tretina vôd sa zmenila na palinu a mnoho ľudí zomrelo od tých vôd, lebo zhorkli.
11 (HEM) ושם הכוכב נקרא לענה ותהי שלישית המים ללענה ורבים מבני אדם מתו מן המים כי מרים היו׃
11 (UKJV) "And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. "

12 (KAT) Zatrúbil štvrtý anjel. A bola zasiahnutá tretina slnka, tretina mesiaca a tretina hviezd, aby sa ich tretina zatmela a tretina dňa nemala svetla a noc podobne.
12 (HEM) והמלאך הרביעי תקע בשופר ותכה שלישית השמש ושלישית הירח ושלישית הכוכבים למען תחשך שלישיתם והיום לא יאיר שלישיתו וכן גם הלילה׃
12 (UKJV) "And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. "

13 (KAT) Potom som videl a počul som orla letieť stredom neba a volať mohutným hlasom: „Beda, beda, beda obyvateľom zeme pre ostatné zvuky poľníc troch anjelov, ktorí ešte majú trúbiť!“
13 (HEM) וארא ואשמע מלאך אחד מעופף במרום הרקיע הקורא בקול גדול אוי אוי אוי לישבי הארץ משאר קלות שופר שלשת המלאכים העתידים לתקע׃
13 (UKJV) And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the citizens of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
