Zjavenie apoštola Jána

1 (UKJV) And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
1 (ROH) A potom som videl štyroch anjelov, ktorí stáli na štyroch uhloch zeme a držali štyri vetry zeme, aby nevial vietor na zemi ani na mori ani na niktorý strom.

2 (UKJV) And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
2 (ROH) A videl som iného anjela, ktorý vystupoval od východu slnca a ktorý mal pečať živého Boha a kričal veľkým hlasom na štyroch anjelov, ktorým to bolo dané, aby škodili zemi a moru,

3 (UKJV) Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
3 (ROH) a hovoril: Neškoďte zemi ani moru ani stromom, dokiaľ nepopečatíme služobníkov nášho Boha na ich čelách.

4 (UKJV) And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
4 (ROH) A počul som počet zapečatených; jednosto štyridsaťštyri tisíc zapečatených z každého pokolenia synov Izraelových;

5 (UKJV) Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
5 (ROH) z pokolenia Júdovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených; z pokolenia Rúbenovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených; z pokolenia Gádovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených;

6 (UKJV) Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
6 (ROH) z pokolenia Aserovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených; z pokolenia Neftalímovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených; z pokolenia Manassesovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených;

7 (UKJV) Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
7 (ROH) z pokolenia Simeonovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených; z pokolenia Léviho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených; z pokolenia Izachárovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených;

8 (UKJV) Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
8 (ROH) z pokolenia Zabulonovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených; z pokolenia Jozefovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených; z pokolenia Benjaminovho dvanásť tisíc zapečatených;

9 (UKJV) "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and families, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; "
9 (ROH) Potom som videl a hľa, veliký zástup, ktorý nemohol nikto spočítať, z každého národa a zo všetkých pokolení a ľudí a jazykov, ktorí stáli pred trónom a pred Baránkom, oblečení v dlhom bielom rúchu, a palmy v ich rukách,

10 (UKJV) And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
10 (ROH) a kričali velikým hlasom a hovorili: Spasenie nášmu Bohu, sediacemu na tróne, a Baránkovi!

11 (UKJV) And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
11 (ROH) A všetci anjeli stáli okolo trónu a okolo starcov a okolo štyroch živých bytostí a padli pred trónom na svoju tvár a klaňali sa Bohu

12 (UKJV) Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
12 (ROH) a hovorili: Ameň. Dobrorečenie a sláva a múdrosť a vďaka a česť a moc a vláda našemu Bohu na veky vekov. Ameň.

13 (UKJV) And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
13 (ROH) A jeden zo starcov odpovedal a riekol mi: Kto sú títo oblečení v tom dlhom bielom rúchu a odkiaľ prišli?

14 (UKJV) And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
14 (ROH) A ja som mu povedal: Pane, ty vieš. A riekol mi: Toto sú tí, ktorí prišli z toho veľkého súženia a oprali svoje rúcha a zbielili ich v krvi Baránkovej.

15 (UKJV) Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.
15 (ROH) Preto sú pred trónom Božím a svätoslúžia mu dňom i nocou v jeho chráme, a ten, ktorý sedí na tróne, bude stániť nad nimi.

16 (UKJV) "They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. "
16 (ROH) Nebudú viacej lačnieť ani nebudú viacej žízniť, ani nebude na nich dorážať slnce ani nijaké horko.

17 (UKJV) For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
17 (ROH) Lebo Baránok, ktorý leží prostredkom trónu, ich bude pásť a bude ich vodiť k prameňom vôd života, a Bôh sotrie každú slzu s ich očí.
