(KJV - Anglický - King James)

Zjv 6, 1-17

1 (KJV) And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
1 (ROH) A videl som, keď otvoril Baránok jednu zo siedmich pečatí, a počul som jednu zo štyroch živých bytostí, ktorá hovorila jako hlasom hromu: Poď a vidz!

2 (KJV) And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
2 (ROH) A videl som a hľa, biely kôň, a ten, ktorý sedel na ňom, mal lučište, a dala sa mu koruna, a vyšiel víťaziac, aj aby zvíťazil.

3 (KJV) And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
3 (ROH) A keď otvoril druhú pečať, počul som druhú živú bytosť, ktorá vravela: Poď a vidz!

4 (KJV) And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

5 (KJV) And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
5 (ROH) A keď otvoril tretiu pečať, počul som tretiu živú bytosť, ktorá vravela: Poď a vidz! A videl som a hľa, čierny kôň, a ten, ktorý sedel na ňom, mal váhu vo svojej ruke.

6 (KJV) And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
6 (ROH) A počul som hlas prostred štyroch živých bytostí, ktorý hovoril: Choinix pšenice za denár a tri choinixy jačmeňa za denár, a oleju a vínu neškoď!

7 (KJV) And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
7 (ROH) A keď otvoril štvrtú pečať, počul som hlas štvrtej živej bytosti, ktorý hovoril: Poď a vidz!

8 (KJV) And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
8 (ROH) A videl som a hľa, plavý kôň, a tomu, ktorý sedel na ňom, bolo meno smrť, a peklo išlo spolu za ním. A bola im daná moc nad štvrtinou zeme, zabíjať mečom, hladom a smrťou, a aby hynuli ľudia od zemskej zveri.

9 (KJV) And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
9 (ROH) A keď otvoril piatu pečať, videl som pod oltárom duše zabitých pre slovo Božie a pre svedoctvo, ktoré mali.

10 (KJV) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
10 (ROH) A kričali veľkým hlasom a vraveli: Až dokedy, Samovládca, svätý a pravdivý, nesúdiš a nepomstíš našej krvi na tých, ktorí bývajú na zemi?

11 (KJV) And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
11 (ROH) A bolo dané jednému každému dlhé biele rúcho, a bolo im rečené, aby odpočívali ešte krátky čas, až sa doplní počet aj ich spoluslužobníkov a ich bratov, ktorí majú tiež byť zabití jako aj oni.

12 (KJV) And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
12 (ROH) A videl som, keď otvoril šiestu pečať a hľa, povstalo veľké zemetrasenie, a slnce sčernelo jako srstené vrece, a mesiac bol celý jako krv,

13 (KJV) And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 (KJV) And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
A každý vrch a ostrov sa pohly so svojho miesta.

15 (KJV) And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
15 (ROH) A kráľovia zeme, veľmoži, boháči, vojvodcovia a mocní i každý sluha i každý slobodný skryli sa do jaskýň a do skál vrchov

16 (KJV) And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
16 (ROH) a vraveli vrchom a skalám: Padnite na nás a prikryte nás pred tvárou toho, ktorý sedí na tróne a pred hnevom Baránka,

17 (KJV) For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Oz 10:8 - The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.

And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Zjv 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Zjv 19:10 - And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Verš 12
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Zjv 6,4 - Červený kôň je symbolom vojny.

Zjv 6,5 - Čierny kôň je symbolom hladu.

Zjv 6,9 - Zabití pre Božie slovo sú mučeníci.
