Zjavenie apoštola Jána

1 (UKJV) "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter. "
1 (ROH) Potom som videl, a hľa, dvere boly otvorené na nebi, a ten prvý hlas, ktorý som počul ako trúbu, hovoriacu so mnou, vravel: Vystúp sem hore, a ukážem ti, čo sa musí stať potom.

2 (UKJV) And immediately I was in the spirit: (o. pneuma) and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
2 (ROH) A hneď som bol v duchu. A hľa, trón stál na nebi, a na tróne ktosi sediaci.

3 (UKJV) And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
3 (ROH) A ten, ktorý to sedel na tróne, bol na pohľad podobný kameňu jaspisu a sardisu, a dúha bola vôkol trónu, na pohľad podobná smaragdu.

4 (UKJV) "And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. "
4 (ROH) A okolo trónu stálo dvadsaťštyri trónov, a na trónoch som videl dvadsaťštyri starcov, sediacich, oblečených v bielych rúchach, a na svojich hlavách mali zlaté koruny.

5 (UKJV) And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits (o. pneuma) of God.
5 (ROH) A z trónu vychádzaly blesky a hromy a hlasy a pred trónom horelo sedem ohnivých lampád, ktoré sú siedmi duchovia Boží,

6 (UKJV) And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
6 (ROH) a pred trónom bolo čosi jako sklené more, podobné kryštálu, a prostred trónu a vôkol trónu štyri živé bytosti, plné očí zpredu i zozadu.

7 (UKJV) And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
7 (ROH) A prvá živá bytosť bola podobná ľvovi, druhá živá bytosť podobná teľaťu, tretia živá bytosť mala tvár ako človek, a štvrtá živá bytosť bola podobná letiacemu orlovi.

8 (UKJV) "And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. "
8 (ROH) A štyri živé bytosti, jedna každá z nich, maly po šiestich krýdlach okolo, a zvnútra boly plné očí. A nemajú odpočinku ani vodne ani vnoci a hovoria: Svätý, svätý, svätý Pán Bôh všemohúci, ktorý bol, ktorý je a ktorý prijde.

9 (UKJV) And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who lives for ever and ever,
9 (ROH) A keď dajú živé bytosti sediacemu na tróne, živému na veky vekov, slávu a česť a vďaku,

10 (UKJV) The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
10 (ROH) padnú dvadsiati štyria starci pred sediacim na tróne a budú sa klaňať živému na veky vekov a hodia svoje koruny pred trónom hovoriac:

11 (UKJV) You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.
11 (ROH) Hoden si, Pane a náš Bože, vziať slávu a česť a moc, lebo ty si stvoril všetky veci, a pre tvoju vôľu sú a boly stvorené.
