1Jn 1, 1-10

1 (UKJV) "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word (o. logos) of life; "
1 (ROH) Čo bolo od počiatku, čo sme počuli, čo sme videli svojimi očami, na čo sme sa dívali, a čoho sa naše ruky dotýkaly, o slove života -

2 (UKJV) "(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) "
2 (ROH) a ten život sa zjavil, a videli sme a svedčíme a zvestujeme vám ten večný život, ktorý bol u Otca a zjavil sa nám -,

3 (UKJV) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that all of you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
3 (ROH) teda čo sme videli a počuli, zvestujeme vám, aby ste aj vy mali obecenstvo s nami. A naše obecenstvo je s Otcom a jeho Synom, Ježišom Kristom.

4 (UKJV) And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
4 (ROH) A to vám píšeme nato, aby bola vaša radosť naplnená.

5 (UKJV) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
5 (ROH) A toto je zvesť, ktorú sme počuli od neho a ktorú vám zvestujeme, že Bôh je svetlo, a že niet v ňom nijakej tmy.

6 (UKJV) If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
6 (ROH) Keď povieme, že máme obecenstvo s ním a chodíme vo tme, luháme a nečiníme pravdy;

7 (UKJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.
7 (ROH) ale keď chodíme vo svetle, jako je on vo svetle, máme obecenstvo jeden s druhým, a krv Ježiša Krista, jeho Syna, očisťuje nás od každého hriechu.

8 (UKJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
8 (ROH) Keď povieme, že nemáme hriechu, sami seba zvodíme, a niet v nás pravdy.

9 (UKJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
9 (ROH) Keď vyznávame svoje hriechy, verný je a spravedlivý, aby nám odpustil hriechy a očistil nás od každej neprávosti.

10 (UKJV) If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word (o. logos) is not in us.
10 (ROH) Keď povieme, že sme nehrešili, robíme ho lhárom, a niet v nás jeho slova.

Verš 8

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Kr 8:46 - "If they sin against you, (for there is no man that sins not,) and you be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near; "

2Krn 6:36 - "If they sin against you, (for there is no man which sins not,) and you be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near; "

Jób 9:2 - I know it is so truthfully: but how should man be just with God?

Ž 143:2 - And enter not into judgment with your servant: for in your sight shall no man living be justified.

Prís 20:9 - Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?

Kaz 7:20 - For there is not a just man upon earth, that does good, and sins not.

Verš 1

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word (o. logos) of life; "

Jn 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, (o. logos) and the Word (o. logos) was with God, and the Word (o. logos) was God.

Jn 1:14 - And the Word (o. logos) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

2Pt 1:16 - For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Lk 24:39 - "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit (o. pneuma) has not flesh and bones, as all of you see me have. "

Jn 20:27 - "Then says he to Thomas, Reach here your finger, and behold my hands; and reach here your hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. "

Verš 9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ž 32:5 - "I acknowledge my sin unto you, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah. "

Prís 28:13 - He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.

Verš 5

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Jn 1:9 - That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.

Jn 8:12 - Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Jn 9:5 - As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Jn 12:35 - Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while all of you have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walks in darkness knows not where he goes.

Verš 7

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

Heb 9:14 - How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit (o. pneuma) offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

1Pt 1:19 - But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Zjv 1:5 - And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the First-Born of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
