Silván) je v Pavlových listoch (2 Kor 1, 19; 1 Sol 1, 1; 2 Sol 1, 1) a v tomto texte.
1Pt 5,13 - Marek, Petrov duchovný syn a jeho verný žiak a pomocník, je pôvodcom druhého evanjelia. "Babylon" – pod týmto názvom poznali vtedajší kresťania i pohania pohanský Rím (porov. Zjv 17, 18). "Vyvolená cirkev," t. j. rímska cirkevná obec (porov. 2 Jn).
