4 (UKJV) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,

5 (ROH) ktorí ste mocou Božou strážení vierou cieľom spasenia, ktoré je hotové, aby bolo zjavené v poslednom čase,
5 (RIV) che dalla potenza di Dio, mediante la fede, siete custoditi per la salvazione che sta per esser rivelata negli ultimi tempi.

6 (UKJV) Wherein all of you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, all of you are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
6 (ROH) v čom to plesáte, málo teraz, ak je kedy potrebné, rmútiac sa v rozličných pokušeniach,
6 (RIV) Nel che voi esultate, sebbene ora, per un po’ di tempo, se così bisogna, siate afflitti da svariate prove,

7 (UKJV) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
7 (ROH) aby dokázanie sa vašej viery, o mnoho cennejšie nad zlato, ktoré hynie, ale sa ohňom zkúša, bolo vám najdené na chválu, na česť a na slávu pri zjavení Ježiša Krista,
7 (RIV) affinché la prova della vostra fede, molto più preziosa dell’oro che perisce, eppure è provato col fuoco, risulti a vostra lode, gloria ed onore alla rivelazione di Gesù Cristo:

8 (UKJV) "Whom having not seen, all of you love; in whom, though now all of you see him not, yet believing, all of you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: "
8 (ROH) ktorého, keď ho aj neznáte podľa tela, milujete, a v ktorého, keď ho aj teraz nezriete, jednako veríte a tak plesáte radosťou nevysloviteľnou a oslávenou
8 (RIV) il quale, benché non l’abbiate veduto, voi amate; nel quale credendo, benché ora non lo vediate, voi gioite d’un’allegrezza ineffabile e gloriosa,

9 (UKJV) Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
9 (ROH) odnášajúc si cieľ a koniec svojej viery, spasenie duší,
9 (RIV) ottenendo il fine della fede: la salvezza della anime.

10 (UKJV) Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

13 (ROH) Preto opášte si bedrá svojej mysle a súc triezvi dokonale sa nadejte na nesenú vám milosť, ktorá vám bude daná, keď sa zjaví Ježiš Kristus.
13 (RIV) Perciò, avendo cinti i fianchi della vostra mente, e stando sobri, abbiate piena speranza nella grazia che vi sarà recata nella rivelazione di Gesù Cristo;

14 (UKJV) As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
14 (ROH) Ako poslušné deti, neprispôsobňujúc sa drievnejším v svojej nevedomosti žiadostiam,
14 (RIV) e, come figliuoli d’ubbidienza, non vi conformate alle concupiscenze del tempo passato quando eravate nell’ignoranza;

15 (UKJV) "But as he which has called you is holy, so be all of you holy in all manner of conversation; "
15 (ROH) ale podľa toho Svätého, ktorý vás povolal, aj sami buďte svätí, v každom obcovaní.

17 (UKJV) And if all of you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

18 (ROH) vediac, že nie porušiteľnými vecmi, striebrom alebo zlatom, ste vykúpení z márneho svojho obcovania, podaného otcami,
18 (RIV) sapendo che non con cose corruttibili, con argento o con oro, siete stati riscattati dal vano modo di vivere tramandatovi dai padri,

19 (UKJV) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
19 (ROH) ale drahocennou krvou jako bezvadného a nepoškvrneného baránka, Krista,
19 (RIV) ma col prezioso sangue di Cristo, come d’agnello senza difetto né macchia,

20 (UKJV) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

22 (UKJV) Seeing all of you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit (o. pneuma) unto sincere love of the brethren, see that all of you love one another with a pure heart fervently:
22 (ROH) A tak očistiac svoje duše poslušnosťou pravdy skrze Ducha cieľom nepokryteckého milovania bratstva vrúcne milujte jedni druhých z čistého srdca
22 (RIV) Avendo purificate le anime vostre coll’ubbidienza alla verità per arrivare a un amor fraterno non finto, amatevi l’un l’altro di cuore, intensamente,

23 (UKJV) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word (o. logos) of God, which lives and abides for ever.
23 (ROH) znova splodení súc nie z porušiteľného semena, ale z neporušiteľného živým slovom Boha a zostávajúcim na veky.
23 (RIV) poiché siete stati rigenerati non da seme corruttibile, ma incorruttibile, mediante la parola di Dio vivente e permanente.

24 (UKJV) For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away:
24 (ROH) Lebo každé telo je ako tráva a každá sláva človeka jako kvet trávy; tráva uschla, a jej kvet opadol;
24 (RIV) Poiché Ogni carne è com’erba, e ogni sua gloria come il fior dell’erba. L’erba si secca, e il fiore cade;

25 (UKJV) But the word (o. rhema) of the Lord endures for ever. And this is the word (o. rhema) which by the gospel is preached unto you.
25 (ROH) ale slovo Pánovo zostáva na veky. A to je to slovo, ktoré sa vám zvestovalo.
25 (RIV) ma la parola del Signore permane in eterno. E questa è la Parola della Buona Novella che vi è stata annunziata.
