Jak 3, 1-18

1 (KJV) My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
1 (SVD) لا تكونوا معلّمين كثيرين يا اخوتي عالمين اننا نأخذ دينونة اعظم
1 (B21) Nesnažte se mnozí stát učiteli, bratři moji - vězte, že budeme souzeni přísněji.

2 (KJV) For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
2 (SVD) لاننا في اشياء كثيرة نعثر جميعنا. ان كان احد لا يعثر في الكلام فذاك رجل كامل قادر ان يلجم كل الجسد ايضا.
2 (B21) Všichni přece v mnohém chybujeme. Kdo nechybuje ve slově, dosáhl dokonalosti a je schopen se ovládat v každém ohledu.

3 (KJV) Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
3 (SVD) هوذا الخيل نضع اللجم في افواهها لكي تطاوعنا فندير جسمها كله.
3 (B21) Když dáme koním do huby udidlo, abychom je zkrotili, můžeme pak ovládat celé jejich tělo.

4 (KJV) Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
4 (SVD) هوذا السفن ايضا وهي عظيمة بهذا المقدار وتسوقها رياح عاصفة تديرها دفة صغيرة جدا الى حيثما شاء قصد المدير.
4 (B21) I mohutné lodě hnané prudkým větrem řídí malé kormidlo, kamkoli kormidelník chce.

5 (KJV) Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
5 (SVD) هكذا اللسان ايضا هو عضو صغير ويفتخر متعظما. هوذا نار قليلة اي وقود تحرق.
5 (B21) Stejně tak i jazyk je malý sval, ale co všechno dokáže! Považte, jak dokáže maličký oheň zapálit veliký les.

6 (KJV) And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
6 (SVD) فاللسان نار. عالم الاثم. هكذا جعل في اعضائنا اللسان الذي يدنس الجسم كله ويضرم دائرة الكون ويضرم من جهنم.
6 (B21) I jazyk je oheň! Mezi všemi orgány našeho těla představuje jazyk svět zla. Poskvrňuje celé tělo a spaluje celý běh života, neboť je rozpalován peklem.

7 (KJV) For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
7 (SVD) لان كل طبع للوحوش والطيور والزحافات والبحريات يذلل وقد تذلل للطبع البشري.
7 (B21) Lidstvo se pokouší zkrotit každý druh zvířat, ptáků, plazů i mořských tvorů a daří se mu to,

8 (KJV) But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
8 (SVD) واما اللسان فلا يستطيع احد من الناس ان يذلله. هو شر لا يضبط مملوء سمّا مميتا.
8 (B21) ale jazyk žádný člověk zkrotit neumí. Je to nezvládnutelné zlo, plné smrtelného jedu.

9 (KJV) Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
9 (SVD) به نبارك الله الآب وبه نلعن الناس الذين قد تكوّنوا على شبه الله.
9 (B21) Jím dobrořečíme Pánu a Otci, jím také zlořečíme lidem stvořeným k Boží podobě.

10 (KJV) Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
10 (SVD) من الفم الواحد تخرج بركة ولعنة. لا يصلح يا اخوتي ان تكون هذه الامور هكذا.
10 (B21) Ze stejných úst vychází žehnání i proklínání. Bratři moji, tak to nemá být!

11 (KJV) Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
11 (SVD) ألعل ينبوعا ينبع من نفس عين واحدة العذب والمر.
11 (B21) Chrlí snad pramen ze stejného ústí sladkou i hořkou vodu?

12 (KJV) Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
12 (SVD) هل تقدر يا اخوتي تينة ان تصنع زيتونا او كرمة تينا. ولا كذلك ينبوع يصنع ماء مالحا وعذبا
12 (B21) Může snad, bratři moji, fíkovník plodit olivy anebo vinná réva fíky? Stejně tak solný pramen nevydává sladkou vodu.

13 (KJV) Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
13 (SVD) من هو حكيم وعالم بينكم فلير اعماله بالتصرف الحسن في وداعة الحكمة.
13 (B21) Kdo je mezi vámi moudrý a rozumný? Ať to prokáže svými skutky - ušlechtilým životem ve vlídné moudrosti.

14 (KJV) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
14 (SVD) ولكن ان كان لكم غيرة مرة وتحزب في قلوبكم فلا تفتخروا وتكذبوا على الحق.
14 (B21) Máte-li však v srdci hořkou závist a svárlivost, nechlubte se a nelžete proti pravdě.

15 (KJV) This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
15 (SVD) ليست هذه الحكمة نازلة من فوق بل هي ارضية نفسانية شيطانية.
15 (B21) To není moudrost přicházející shůry, ale ta pozemská, pudová a ďábelská.

16 (KJV) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
16 (SVD) لانه حيث الغيرة والتحزب هناك التشويش وكل امر رديء.
16 (B21) Kde je totiž závist a svárlivost, tam vzniká nepokoj a kdejaká špatnost.

17 (KJV) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
17 (SVD) واما الحكمة التي من فوق فهي اولا طاهرة ثم مسالمة مترفقة مذعنة مملوءة رحمة واثمارا صالحة عديمة الريب والرياء.
17 (B21) Moudrost, která je shůry, je ale především čistá, dále pokojná, vlídná, povolná, plná milosrdenství a dobrého ovoce, nestranná a nepokrytecká.

18 (KJV) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
18 (SVD) وثمر البر يزرع في السلام من الذين يفعلون السلام
18 (B21) Ti, kdo rozsévají pokoj, sklidí ovoce spravedlnosti.

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
Mt 23:8 - But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

Verš 2
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
Ž 34:13 - Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
Jak 1:26 - If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Verš 5
Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
Prís 12:18 - There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
Prís 15:2 - The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
Gn 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Verš 13
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
Ef 5:8 - For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Verš 14
But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
Rim 13:13 - Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Verš 15
This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
1Kor 2:6 - Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

Verš 16
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
1Kor 3:3 - For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
Gal 5:20 - Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Jak 3,1 - Židia sa veľmi radi vydávali za učiteľov iných, najmä v náboženských veciach. Byť učiteľom iných je veľká zodpovednosť.

Jak 3,9 - Porov. Gn 1, 27.

Jak 3,18 - "Ovocie spravodlivosti", t. j. rozmnoženie posväcujúcej milosti, dostáva sa tým rozsieva- čom a uskutočňovateľom Božieho slova, čo šíria pokoj, teda zmierlivým, a to v pokoji, čiže tam a vtedy, kde a keď vládne pokoj, a nie rozbroje. Aj tu je narážka na jedno z ôsmich blahoslavenstiev (Mt 5, 9).
