Heb 7, 1-28

1 (UKJV) "For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; "
1 (LS) En effet, ce Melchisédek, roi de Salem, sacrificateur du Dieu Très-Haut, -qui alla au-devant d'Abraham lorsqu'il revenait de la défaite des rois, qui le bénit,

2 (UKJV) "To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; "
2 (LS) et à qui Abraham donna la dîme de tout, -qui est d'abord roi de justice, d'après la signification de son nom, ensuite roi de Salem, c'est-à-dire roi de paix, -

3 (UKJV) "Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abides a priest continually. "
3 (LS) qui est sans père, sans mère, sans généalogie, qui n'a ni commencement de jours ni fin de vie, -mais qui est rendu semblable au Fils de Dieu, -ce Melchisédek demeure sacrificateur à perpétuité.

4 (UKJV) Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
4 (LS) Considérez combien est grand celui auquel le patriarche Abraham donna la dîme du butin.

5 (UKJV) And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
5 (LS) Ceux des fils de Lévi qui exercent le sacerdoce ont, d'après la loi, l'ordre de lever la dîme sur le peuple, c'est-à-dire, sur leurs frères, qui cependant sont issus des reins d'Abraham;

6 (UKJV) But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
6 (LS) et lui, qui ne tirait pas d'eux son origine, il leva la dîme sur Abraham, et il bénit celui qui avait les promesses.

7 (UKJV) And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
7 (LS) Or c'est sans contredit l'inférieur qui est béni par le supérieur.

8 (UKJV) "And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. "
8 (LS) Et ici, ceux qui perçoivent la dîme sont des hommes mortels; mais là, c'est celui dont il est attesté qu'il est vivant.

9 (UKJV) And as I may so say, Levi also, who receives tithes, paid tithes in Abraham.
9 (LS) De plus, Lévi, qui perçoit la dîme, l'a payée, pour ainsi dire, par Abraham;

10 (UKJV) For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
10 (LS) car il était encore dans les reins de son père, lorsque Melchisédek alla au-devant d'Abraham.

11 (UKJV) If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
11 (LS) Si donc la perfection avait été possible par le sacerdoce Lévitique, -car c'est sur ce sacerdoce que repose la loi donnée au peuple, -qu'était-il encore besoin qu'il parût un autre sacrificateur selon l'ordre de Melchisédek, et non selon l'ordre d'Aaron?

12 (UKJV) For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
12 (LS) Car, le sacerdoce étant changé, nécessairement aussi il y a un changement de loi.

13 (UKJV) For he of whom these things are spoken pertains to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
13 (LS) En effet, celui de qui ces choses sont dites appartient à une autre tribu, dont aucun membre n'a fait le service de l'autel;

14 (UKJV) "For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. "
14 (LS) car il est notoire que notre Seigneur est sorti de Juda, tribu dont Moïse n'a rien dit pour ce qui concerne le sacerdoce.

15 (UKJV) And it is yet far more evident: for that after the embodiment of Melchisedec there arises another priest,
15 (LS) Cela devient plus évident encore, quand il paraît un autre sacrificateur à la ressemblance de Melchisédek,

16 (UKJV) Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
16 (LS) institué, non d'après la loi d'une ordonnance charnelle, mais selon la puissance d'une vie impérissable;

17 (UKJV) For he testifies, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
17 (LS) car ce témoignage lui est rendu: Tu es sacrificateur pour toujours Selon l'ordre de Melchisédek.

18 (UKJV) For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
18 (LS) Il y a ainsi abolition d'une ordonnance antérieure, à cause de son impuissance et de son inutilité, -

19 (UKJV) "For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. "
19 (LS) car la loi n'a rien amené à la perfection, -et introduction d'une meilleure espérance, par laquelle nous nous approchons de Dieu.

20 (UKJV) And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
20 (LS) Et, comme cela n'a pas eu lieu sans serment,

21 (UKJV) "(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord swore and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) "
21 (LS) car, tandis que les Lévites sont devenus sacrificateurs sans serment, Jésus l'est devenu avec serment par celui qui lui a dit: Le Seigneur a juré, et il ne se repentira pas: Tu es sacrificateur pour toujours, Selon l'ordre de Melchisédek. -

22 (UKJV) By so much was Jesus made a guarantor of a better testament.
22 (LS) Jésus est par cela même le garant d'une alliance plus excellente.

23 (UKJV) And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
23 (LS) De plus, il y a eu des sacrificateurs en grand nombre, parce que la mort les empêchait d'être permanents.

24 (UKJV) But this man, because he continues ever, has an unchangeable priesthood.
24 (LS) Mais lui, parce qu'il demeure éternellement, possède un sacerdoce qui n'est pas transmissible.

25 (UKJV) Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.
25 (LS) C'est aussi pour cela qu'il peut sauver parfaitement ceux qui s'approchent de Dieu par lui, étant toujours vivant pour intercéder en leur faveur.

26 (UKJV) "For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; "
26 (LS) Il nous convenait, en effet, d'avoir un souverain sacrificateur comme lui, saint, innocent, sans tache, séparé des pécheurs, et plus élevé que les cieux,

27 (UKJV) Who needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
27 (LS) qui n'a pas besoin, comme les souverains sacrificateurs, d'offrir chaque jour des sacrifices, d'abord pour ses propres péchés, ensuite pour ceux du peuple, -car ceci, il l'a fait une fois pour toutes en s'offrant lui-même.

28 (UKJV) "For the law makes men high priests which have infirmity; but the word (o. logos) of the oath, which was since the law, makes the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. "
28 (LS) En effet, la loi établit souverains sacrificateurs des hommes sujets à la faiblesse; mais la parole du serment qui a été fait après la loi établit le Fils, qui est parfait pour l'éternité.

"For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; "
Gn 14:18 - And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

Verš 5
And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
Nm 18:21 - And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Dt 18:1 - The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his inheritance.
Joz 14:4 - For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
2Krn 31:5 - "And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the first-fruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly. "

But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
Gn 14:20 - And blessed be the most high God, which has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Verš 11
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Gal 2:21 - I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

"For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. "
Iz 11:1 - And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Mt 1:3 - "And Judas brings forth Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares brings forth Esrom; and Esrom brings forth Aram; "

Verš 17
For he testifies, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Ž 110:4 - The LORD has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
Heb 5:6 - As he says also in another place, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Verš 19
"For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. "
Sk 13:39 - And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which all of you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Rim 3:28 - Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Rim 8:3 - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

"(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord swore and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) "
Ž 110:4 - The LORD has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Verš 25
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.
1Tim 2:5 - "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; "
1Jn 2:1 - My little children, these things write I unto you, that all of you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Who needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
Lv 9:7 - "And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make an atonement for yourself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded. "
Lv 16:6 - And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.
Heb 5:3 - And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

Hebr 7,1-10 - Melchizedech je predobrazom Krista svojím menom (Melchizedech znamená "kráľ spravodlivosti"), ako aj svojím postavením nad Abrahámom a levitským kňazstvom, svojím tajuplným vstupom do dejín a svojím mimoriadnym kňazstvom.

Hebr 7,1 - "Kráľ Salema." Šalem bolo staré meno neskoršieho Jeruzalema. Skrýva v sebe semitské slovo šalom = pokoj.

Hebr 7,8 - Kým Abrahám a Lévi boli smrteľní ľudia, Melchizedechovo kňazstvo trvá večne.

Hebr 7,10 - Abrahám bol praded Léviho.

Hebr 7,11-17 - Svätopisec poukazuje na text žalmu 110 o ustanovení nového, večného "kňaza podľa radu Melchizedechovho" a tým zdôrazňuje, že levitské kňazstvo bolo nedokonalé a len dočasné. Ba nový kňaz (Kristus) ani nie je z kmeňa Léviho, ale z Júdovho.

Hebr 7,20-25 - Vznešenosť Kristovho kňazstva dokazuje autor listu dvoma dôvodmi: Boh urobil Krista veľkňazom na základe prísahy, kým v súvislosti so starozákonným kňazstvom takáto prísaha neodznela (v. 20–22); druhým dôvodom je večnosť Kristovho kňazstva (v. 23–25).

Hebr 7,21 - Ž 100, 4.
