Heb 6, 1-20

1 (UKJV) "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine (o. logos) of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, "
1 (KAT) Preto nechajme bokom začiatočné učenie o Kristovi a povznesme sa k dokonalosti. Neklaďme znova základy: o pokání z mŕtvych skutkov a viere v Boha,
1 (UKJV) "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine (o. logos) of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, "

2 (UKJV) Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
2 (KAT) učenie o krstoch, o vkladaní rúk, o vzkriesení z mŕtvych a večnom súde.
2 (UKJV) Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

3 (UKJV) And this will we do, if God permit.
3 (KAT) A to urobíme, ak to Boh dovolí.
3 (UKJV) And this will we do, if God permit.

4 (UKJV) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma)
4 (UKJV) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma)

5 (UKJV) And have tasted the good word (o. rhema) of God, and the powers of the world to come,
5 (VUL) et bonum gustaverunt Dei verbum virtutesque saeculi venturi
5 (KAT) zakúsili dobré Božie slovo a sily budúceho veku,
5 (UKJV) And have tasted the good word (o. rhema) of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 (UKJV) "If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. "
6 (UKJV) "If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. "

7 (UKJV) For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes often upon it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from God:
7 (VUL) Terra enim saepe venientem super se bibens imbrem et generans herbam opportunam illis, propter quos et colitur, accipit benedictionem a Deo;
7 (UKJV) For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes often upon it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from God:

8 (UKJV) "But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. "
8 (UKJV) "But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. "

9 (UKJV) But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
9 (VUL) Confidimus autem de vobis, dilectissimi, meliora et viciniora saluti, tametsi ita loquimur;
9 (UKJV) But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

10 (UKJV) For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, (o. agape) which all of you have showed toward his name, in that all of you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
10 (UKJV) For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, (o. agape) which all of you have showed toward his name, in that all of you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

11 (UKJV) And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
11 (VUL) Cupimus autem unumquemque vestrum eandem ostentare sollicitudinem ad expletionem spei usque in finem,
11 (KAT) Ale túžime, aby každý z vás prejavoval rovnakú horlivosť za plné rozvinutie nádeje až do konca,
11 (UKJV) And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

12 (UKJV) That all of you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
12 (UKJV) That all of you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

13 (UKJV) For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself,
13 (VUL) Abrahae namque promittens Deus, quoniam neminem habuit, per quem iuraret maiorem, iuravit per semetipsum
13 (KAT) Lebo keď Boh dával prisľúbenie Abrahámovi a nemal nikoho väčšieho, na koho by prisahal, prisahal na seba samého
13 (UKJV) For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself,

14 (UKJV) Saying, Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.
14 (VUL) dicens: “ Utique benedicens benedicam te et multiplicans multiplicabo te ”;
14 (KAT) slovami: „Veru, hojne ťa požehnám a veľmi ťa rozmnožím.“
14 (UKJV) Saying, Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.

15 (UKJV) And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
15 (KAT) A tak Abrahám trpezlivo čakal a dosiahol prisľúbenie.
15 (UKJV) And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

16 (UKJV) For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
16 (VUL) Homines enim per maiorem sui iurant, et omnis controversiae eorum finis ad confirmationem est iuramentum;
16 (UKJV) For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

17 (UKJV) Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
17 (VUL) in quo abundantius volens Deus ostendere pollicitationis heredibus immobilitatem consilii sui, se interposuit iure iurando,
17 (KAT) A pretože Boh chcel dedičom prisľúbenia presvedčivejšie dokázať nezmeniteľnosť svojho rozhodnutia, zaručil sa prísahou,
17 (UKJV) Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

18 (UKJV) That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
18 (VUL) ut per duas res immobiles, in quibus impossibile est mentiri Deum, fortissimum solacium habeamus, qui confugimus ad tenendam propositam spem;
18 (KAT) aby sme v týchto dvoch nezmeniteľných veciach, v ktorých Boh nemôže klamať, mali silné povzbudenie my, čo sme našli útočište v tom, že dosiahneme ponúknutú nádej.
18 (UKJV) That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

19 (UKJV) "Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil; "
19 (UKJV) "Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil; "

20 (UKJV) Where the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
20 (VUL) ubi praecursor pro nobis introivit Iesus, secundum ordinem Melchisedech pontifex factus in aeternum.
20 (UKJV) Where the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
