Hebr 2,1-4 - Keďže Boh tak blahovoľne ponúka milosť spásy a pravdy, to kresťanov zrejme zaväzuje, aby ju prijali. Inak by na seba privolali prísny trest, hroznejší než ten, čo stíhal Izraelitov, ktorí neposlúchali nariadenia Starého zákona.Svätopisec vyvodzuje pre svojich čitateľov židokresťanov poučenie, že majú starostlivejšie zachovávať to, čo počuli, t. j. evanjelium, Kristovo učenie, pretože prostredník Nového zákona Kristus je oveľa vznešenejší než anjeli – prostredníci Starého zákona a jeho učenie je oveľa dôležitejšie ako slovo vyjadrené prostredníctvom anjelov, čiže Starým zákonom (porov. Gal 3, 19).

Flp 2, 6–11).
