1 (UKJV) Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellow labourer,
1 (ROH) Pavel, väzeň Krista Ježiša, a brat Timoteus milovanému Filémonovi a nášmu spolupracovníkovi

2 (UKJV) And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house:

2 (RIV) e alla sorella Apfia, e ad Archippo, nostro compagno d’armi, alla chiesa che è in casa tua,

3 (UKJV) Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 (ROH) milosť vám a pokoj od Boha, nášho Otca, a od Pána Ježiša Krista.
3 (RIV) grazia a voi e pace da Dio nostro Padre e dal Signor Gesù Cristo.

4 (UKJV) I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers,
4 (ROH) Ďakujem vždycky svojmu Bohu zmieňujúc sa o tebe na svojich modlitbách,
4 (RIV) Io rendo sempre grazie all’Iddio mio, facendo menzione di te nelle mie preghiere,

5 (UKJV) "Hearing of your love (o. agape) and faith, which you have toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; "
5 (ROH) počujúc o tvojej láske a viere, ktorú máš k Pánu Ježišovi a naproti všetkým svätým,
5 (RIV) giacché odo parlare dell’amore e della fede che hai nel Signor Gesù e verso tutti i santi,

6 (UKJV) That the communication of your faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
6 (ROH) aby obecenstvo tvojej viery bolo účinné poznaním všetkého dobrého, ktoré je vo vás cieľom Krista Ježiša.
6 (RIV) e domando che la nostra comunione di fede sia efficace nel farti riconoscere ogni bene che si compia in noi alla gloria di Cristo.

7 (UKJV) For we have great joy and consolation in your love, (o. agape) because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by you, brother.
7 (ROH) Lebo máme veľkú radosť a potešenie z tvojej lásky, že tebou okrialy srdcia svätých, bratu.
7 (RIV) Poiché ho provato una grande allegrezza e consolazione pel tuo amore, perché il cuore dei santi è stato ricreato per mezzo tuo, o fratello.

8 (UKJV) Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to admonish you that which is convenient,
8 (ROH) A preto, hoci mám veľkú smelosť v Kristovi rozkázať ti, čo náleží,
8 (RIV) Perciò, benché io abbia molta libertà in Cristo di comandarti quel che convien fare,

9 (UKJV) Yet for love's (o. agape) sake I rather plead to you, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
9 (ROH) pre lásku radšej prosím súc taký jako starý Pavel a teraz i väzeň Ježiša Krista,
9 (RIV) preferisco fare appello alla tua carità, semplicemente come Paolo, vecchio, e adesso anche prigione di Cristo Gesù;

10 (UKJV) I plead to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
10 (ROH) prosím ťa o svoje dieťa, ktoré som ja splodil vo svojich putách, Onezima,
10 (RIV) ti prego per il mio figliuolo che ho generato nelle mie catene,

11 (UKJV) Which in time past was to you useless, but now profitable to you and to me:
11 (ROH) ktorý ti bol kedysi neužitočný, ale teraz tebe i mne užitočný, ktorého som ti zase poslal,
11 (RIV) per Onesimo che altra volta ti fu disutile, ma che ora è utile a te ed a me.

12 (UKJV) Whom I have sent again: you therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:
12 (ROH) a ty ho, to jest moje srdce, prijmi,
12 (RIV) Io te l’ho rimandato, lui, ch’è quanto dire, le viscere mie.

13 (UKJV) Whom I would have retained with me, that in your position he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
13 (ROH) ktorého som ja chcel podržať u seba, aby mi za teba slúžil v putách evanjelia,
13 (RIV) Avrei voluto tenerlo presso di me, affinché in vece tua mi servisse nelle catene che porto a motivo del Vangelo;

14 (UKJV) "But without your mind would I do nothing; that your benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly. "
14 (ROH) ale bez toho, aby som vedel tvoju mienku, nechcel som nič urobiť, aby tvoje dobré nebolo jako vynútené, ale dobrovoľné.

15 (UKJV) "For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that you should receive him for ever; "

17 (ROH) Ak tedy mňa máš za spoluúčastníka, prijmi ho jako mňa.
17 (RIV) Se dunque tu mi tieni per un consocio, ricevilo come faresti di me.

18 (UKJV) "If he has wronged you, or owes you ought, put that on mine account; "
18 (ROH) A jestli ti niečo ukrivdil alebo ti je niečo dlžný, pripočítaj to mne.
18 (RIV) che se t’ha fatto alcun torto o ti deve qualcosa, addebitalo a me.

19 (UKJV) I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: although it be I do not say to you how you owe unto me even your own self besides.
19 (ROH) Ja, Pavel, som to napísal vlastnou rukou, ja zaplatím, aby som ti nepovedal, že si mi aj sám seba dlžný.
19 (RIV) Io, Paolo, lo scrivo di mio proprio pugno: io lo pagherò; per non dirti che tu mi sei debitore perfino di te stesso.

20 (UKJV) Yea, brother, let me have joy of you in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.
20 (ROH) Áno, bratu, nech mám ja z teba užitok v Pánovi; občerstvi moje srdce v Pánovi.
20 (RIV) Sì, fratello, io vorrei da te un qualche utile nel Signore; deh, ricrea il mio cuore in Cristo.

21 (UKJV) Having confidence in your obedience I wrote unto you, knowing that you will also do more than I say.
21 (ROH) Dôverujúc tvojej poslušnosti som ti to napísal vediac, že urobíš aj nad to, čo hovorím.

22 (UKJV) But likewise prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
22 (ROH) A zároveň mi aj prihotov hospodu, lebo sa nadejem, že vašimi modlitbami budem vám darovaný.
22 (RIV) Preparami al tempo stesso un alloggio, perché spero che, per le vostre preghiere, io vi sarò donato.

23 (UKJV) "There salute you Epaphras, my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus; "
23 (ROH) Pozdravuje ta Epafras, môj spoluzajatec v Kristu Ježišovi,
23 (RIV) Epafra, mio compagno di prigione in Cristo Gesù, ti saluta.

24 (UKJV) Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellow labourers.
24 (ROH) Marek, Aristarchus, Démas, Lukáš, moji spolupracovníci.
24 (RIV) Così fanno Marco, Aristarco, Dema, Luca, miei compagni d’opera.

25 (UKJV) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. (o. pneuma) Amen.

Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellow labourer,

Ef 3:1 - For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Ef 4:1 - I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, plead to you that all of you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith all of you are called,

And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house:

Kol 4:17 - And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.

Rim 16:5 - Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my well-beloved Epaenetus, who is the first-fruits of Achaia unto Christ.

1Kor 16:19 - The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

Kol 4:15 - Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers,

1Sol 1:2 - "We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; "

2Sol 1:3 - "We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith grows exceedingly, and the love (o. agape) of every one of you all toward each other abounds; "

I plead to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

Kol 4:9 - With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.

1Kor 4:15 - For though all of you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have all of you not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

Gal 4:19 - My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

But likewise prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

Heb 13:2 - Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unexpectedly.

Flp 1:25 - "And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith; "

"There salute you Epaphras, my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus; "

Kol 1:7 - " As all of you also learned of Epaphras our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ; "

Kol 4:12 - Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that all of you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellow labourers.

Sk 12:12 - "And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying. "

Sk 12:25 - And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.
