Flm 1, 1-25

1 (KJV) Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,
1 (HEM) פולוס אסיר המשיח ישוע וטימותיוס האח אל פילימון החביב והעזר אתנו׃
1 (KAT) Pavol, väzeň Krista Ježiša, a brat Timotej milovanému Filemonovi, nášmu spolupracovníkovi,

2 (KJV) And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
2 (HEM) ואל אפיה האהובה ואל ארכפוס חבר מלחמתינו ואל הקהלה אשר בביתך׃
2 (KAT) sestre Apfii, nášmu spolubojovníkovi Archippovi a cirkvi, ktorá je v tvojom dome:

3 (KJV) Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 (HEM) חסד לכם ושלום מאת אלהים אבינו ואדנינו ישוע המשיח׃
3 (KAT) Milosť vám a pokoj od Boha, nášho Otca, a Pána Ježiša Krista.

4 (KJV) I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,
4 (HEM) מודה אני לאלהי בכל עת בהזכירי אתך בתפלותי׃
4 (KAT) Ustavične vzdávam vďaky svojmu Bohu, keď si na teba spomínam vo svojich modlitbách,

5 (KJV) Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
5 (HEM) אחרי שמעי אהבתך ואמונתך אשר בך לאדנינו ישוע ולכל הקדושים׃
5 (KAT) keď počujem o tvojej láske a viere, akú máš k Pánu Ježišovi a k všetkým svätým,

6 (KJV) That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
6 (HEM) למען אשר תאמץ התחברות אמונתך בדעת כל טוב אשר בכם לשם המשיח׃
6 (KAT) aby sa tvoja účasť na viere stala zjavnou v poznávaní každého dobra, ktoré je v nás pre Krista.

7 (KJV) For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
7 (HEM) כי שמחה גדולה ונחמה יש לנו באהבתך באשר היתה רוחה למעי הקדושים אחי על ידיך׃
7 (KAT) Mal som totiž veľkú radosť a útechu z tvojej lásky, brat môj, pretože si osviežil srdcia svätých.

8 (KJV) Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,
8 (HEM) לכן אף כי יש לי בטחון רב במשיח לצותך את הראוי לך הנה בחרתי למען האהבה לחלות את פניך׃
8 (KAT) Preto, hoci by som ti mohol v Kristovi smelo rozkázať, čo máš urobiť,

9 (KJV) Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
9 (HEM) כאשר הנה אנכי פולוס איש זקן ועתה גם אסיר ישוע המשיח׃
9 (KAT) radšej prosím pre lásku ja, Pavol, už starec a teraz aj väzeň Krista Ježiša:

10 (KJV) I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
10 (HEM) אבקשה ממך על בני אשר הוללתיו במוסרי על אניסימוס׃
10 (KAT) prosím ťa za svojho syna Onezima, ktorého som splodil v okovách.

11 (KJV) Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:
11 (HEM) אשר מלפנים לא הועיל לך ועתה הוא להועיל גם לך גם לי והשיבתיו אליך׃
11 (KAT) Kedysi ti bol neužitočný, ale teraz je užitočný aj tebe, aj mne.

12 (KJV) Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:
12 (HEM) ואתה קבל נא אתו שהוא מעי׃
12 (KAT) Poslal som ti ho naspäť; jeho, to jest moje srdce.

13 (KJV) Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
13 (HEM) חפצתי לעצר אתו אצלי שישרתני תחתיך במוסרות הבשורה׃
13 (KAT) Chcel som si ho ponechať pri sebe, aby mi v okovách pre evanjelium slúžil namiesto teba.

14 (KJV) But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
14 (HEM) אבל בלי רצונך לא אביתי לעשות דבר למען לא תהיה טובתך באנס כי אם בנדבה׃
14 (KAT) Ale nechcel som nič urobiť bez tvojho súhlasu, aby tvoj dobrý skutok nebol akoby vynútený, ale dobrovoľný.

15 (KJV) For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;
15 (HEM) כי אולי נפרד ממך לשעה בעבור אשר יהיה לך לעולם׃
15 (KAT) Veď azda preto odišiel na čas, aby si ho dostal navždy.

16 (KJV) Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
16 (HEM) ומעתה לא כעבד כי אם למעלה מעבד כאח אהוב שכן הוא לי ביותר ואף כי לך הן בבשר הן באדון׃
16 (KAT) Už nie ako otroka, ale oveľa viac ako otroka: ako milovaného brata, milého najmä mne - a o čo viac tebe - i podľa tela aj v Pánovi.

17 (KJV) If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.
17 (HEM) והנה אם תחשבני לחבר לך תקבלנו כמוני׃
17 (KAT) Ak ma teda pokladáš za druha, prijmi ho ako mňa samého.

18 (KJV) If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;
18 (HEM) ואם הרע לך בדבר או חיב הוא לך דבר חשבהו לי׃
18 (KAT) A ak ťa v niečom poškodil alebo ak ti je niečo dlžen, mne to pripočítaj.

19 (KJV) I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
19 (HEM) אני פולוס כתבתי בידי אני אשלם ולא אמר כי אתה חיב לי גם את נפשך׃
19 (KAT) Ja, Pavol - píšem vlastnou rukou -, ja to zaplatím; aby som ti nemusel povedať, že ty mne dlhuješ aj seba samého.

20 (KJV) Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.
20 (HEM) כן אחי אהנה נא ממך באדון נחם נא את מעי באדון׃
20 (KAT) Veru, brat môj, kiež mám ja z teba úžitok v Pánovi. Osviež moje srdce v Kristovi.

21 (KJV) Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
21 (HEM) בבטחוני כי תשמע לי כתבתי אליך ויודע אני כי תעשה יותר ממה שאמרתי׃
21 (KAT) Píšem ti v dôvere v tvoju poslušnosť a viem, že urobíš viac, ako hovorím.

22 (KJV) But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
22 (HEM) ועם זה גם תכין לי בית מלון כי אקוה אשר אנתן לכם על ידי תפלותיכם׃
22 (KAT) A zároveň mi priprav aj prístrešie, lebo dúfam, že pre vaše modlitby dostanete mňa ako dar.

23 (KJV) There salute thee Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus;
23 (HEM) אפפרס האסור אתי במשיח ישוע׃
23 (KAT) Pozdravuje ťa Epafras, môj spoluväzeň v Kristovi Ježišovi,

24 (KJV) Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellowlabourers.
24 (HEM) ומרקוס וארסטרכוס ודימס ולוקס עזרי שאלים לשלומך׃
24 (KAT) Marek, Aristarchus, Démas a Lukáš, moji spolupracovníci.

25 (KJV) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
25 (HEM) חסד ישוע המשיח אדנינו עם רוחכם אמן׃
25 (KAT) Milosť Pána Ježiša Krista nech je s vaším duchom.

Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,

Ef 3:1 - For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Ef 4:1 - I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Verš 2

And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:

Kol 4:17 - And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

Rim 16:5 - Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

1Kor 16:19 - The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

Kol 4:15 - Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

1Sol 1:2 - We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

2Sol 1:3 - We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

Kol 4:9 - With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.

1Kor 4:15 - For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

Gal 4:19 - My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Verš 22

But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

Heb 13:2 - Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Flp 1:25 - And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

There salute thee Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus;

Kol 1:7 - As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

Kol 4:12 - Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellowlabourers.

Sk 12:12 - And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.

Sk 12:25 - And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.

Sk 15:37 - And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.

Kol 4:10 - Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)

2Tim 4:11 - Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.

1Pt 5:13 - The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.

Sk 19:29 - And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.

Sk 20:4 - And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.

Sk 27:2 - And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we launched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.

Kol 4:10 - Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)

Kol 4:14 - Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.

2Tim 4:10 - For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

2Tim 4:11 - Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.

Flm 1,2 - Podľa všetkého Apfia bola Filemonova manželka. Archippos bol pravdepodobne "starší", čiže presbyter, ktorý za neprítomnosti predstaveného cirkvi Epafra (ten bol vtedy po boku väzneného Pavla - porov. v. 23) viedol duchovnú správu v Kolosách (Kol 4, 17).

Flm 1,5 - Svätí sú veriaci na základe zasvätenia Kristovi.

Flm 1,9 - Pavol vekove nebol veľmi starý, ale bol zostarnutý utrpením a apoštolskou námahou.

Flm 1,10 - Pavol Onezima "splodil", čiže obrátil na kresťanskú vieru, kým bol väznený.

Flm 1,11 - Pavol tu naráža na Onezimovo meno (gr. onézimos = užitočný).

Flm 1,12 - Výraz "moje srdce" je priam prevratná definícia človeka - otroka v čase, keď otroka považovali iba za vec.

Flm 1,16 - I podľa tela aj v Pánovi, čiže ako človeka i ako kresťana.

Flm 1,17 - Výraz "za druha", doslovne "v spoločenstve (s tebou)", rozumie sa vo viere, teda "za brata vo viere".

Flm 1,18 - Útek sa ukázal prozreteľnostný, lebo Onezimos sa stretol s Pavlom a stal sa kresťanom a Apoštolovým pomocníkom.

Flm 1,19 - Filemon je dlžen Pavlovi seba samého ako kresťan, lebo Pavol ho priviedol k viere.

Flm 1,21 - Pavol má nádej, že Filemon oslobodí Onezima úplne, aby mohol byť Apoštolovým spolupracovníkom pri hlásaní evanjelia.

Flm 1,22 - Pavol cíti, že Pán vyslyší modlitby veriacich a vyslobodí ho zo žalára.

Flm 1,23-25 - Porov. Kol 4, 10-11. Epafras, ako sa zdá, býval spolu s Pavlom v dome väzenia.
