4 (UKJV) To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
4 (ROH) Títovi, svojmu pravému dieťaťu podľa obecnej viery: milosť, milosrdenstvo a pokoj od Boha Otca a od Pána Ježiša Krista, nášho Spasiteľa.
4 (RIV) a Tito, mio vero figliuolo secondo la fede che ci è comune, grazia e pace da Dio Padre e da Cristo Gesù, nostro Salvatore.

5 (UKJV) For this cause left I you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed you:
5 (ROH) Nato som ťa zanechal na Kréte, aby si to, čo ešte chýba, uviedol do poriadku, a po mestách ustanovil starších, ako som ti nariadil,

6 (ROH) že ak je niekto bez úhony, muž jednej ženy, má deti veriace, nie také, na ktoré žalujú, že sú prostopašné alebo nepoddajné.
6 (RIV) quando si trovi chi sia irreprensibile, marito d’una sola moglie, avente figliuoli fedeli, che non sieno accusati di dissolutezza né insubordinati.

7 (UKJV) "For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, not an attacker, not given to filthy illegal gain; "
7 (ROH) Lebo biskup, dozorca sboru, musí byť bezúhonný, jako Boží hospodár, nie svojvoľný, nie hnevivý, nie pijan vína, nie bitkár, nie žiadostivý mrzkého zisku,
7 (RIV) Poiché il vescovo bisogna che sia irreprensibile, come economo di Dio; non arrogante, non iracondo, non dedito al vino, non manesco, non cupido di disonesto guadagno,

8 (UKJV) "But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; "
8 (ROH) ale pohostinný, milovník dobrého, rozumný, spravedlivý, svätý, zdržanlivý
8 (RIV) ma ospitale, amante del bene, assennato, giusto, santo, temperante,

9 (UKJV) Holding fast the faithful word (o. logos) as he has been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
9 (ROH) a ktorý sa drží verného slova, podľa učenia, aby mal moc aj napomínať v zdravom učení a trestať tých, ktorí protirečia.
9 (RIV) attaccato alla fedel Parola quale gli è stata insegnata, onde sia capace d’esortare nella sana dottrina e di convincere i contradittori.

10 (UKJV) For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
10 (ROH) Lebo je mnoho i nepoddajných, márnomluvných a zvoditeľov mysle, najmä tí z obriezky,
10 (RIV) Poiché vi son molti ribelli, cianciatori e seduttori di menti, specialmente fra quelli della circoncisione, ai quali bisogna turare la bocca;

11 (UKJV) Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy illegal gain's sake.
11 (ROH) ktorým treba zapchať ústa, ktorí prevracajú celé domy učiac, čo sa nemá, pre mrzký zisk.
11 (RIV) uomini che sovvertono le case intere, insegnando cose che non dovrebbero, per amor di disonesto guadagno.

12 (UKJV) One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are always liars, evil beasts, sluggards.
12 (ROH) Ktosi z nich, ich vlastný prorok, povedal: Kréťania boli a sú vždycky lhári, zlé zvieratá, lenivé bruchá.
12 (RIV) Uno dei loro, un loro proprio profeta, disse: "I Cretesi son sempre bugiardi, male bestie, ventri pigri".

13 (UKJV) "This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; "
13 (ROH) To svedoctvo je pravdivé. A pre tú príčinu ich prísne tresci, aby boli zdraví vo viere
13 (RIV) Questa testimonianza è verace. Riprendili perciò severamente, affinché siano sani nella fede,

14 (UKJV) Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
14 (ROH) a nedbali na židovské bájky a na prikázania ľudí, ktorí sa odvracajú od pravdy.
14 (RIV) non dando retta a favole giudaiche né a comandamenti d’uomini che voltan le spalle alla verità.

15 (UKJV) "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. "
15 (ROH) Všetko je čisté čistým, ale poškvrneným a neverným nie je nič čisté, ale poškvrnená je aj ich myseľ aj ich svedomie.
15 (RIV) Tutto è puro per quelli che son puri; ma per i contaminati ed increduli niente è puro; anzi, tanto la mente che la coscienza loro son contaminate.

16 (UKJV) "They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. "
16 (ROH) Vyznávajú, že znajú Boha, a skutkami ho zapierajú ohavní súc a neposlušní, k niktorému dobrému skutku nedokázaní.
16 (RIV) Fanno professione di conoscere Iddio; ma lo rinnegano con le loro opere, essendo abominevoli, e ribelli, e incapaci di qualsiasi opera buona.
