2. list Solúnčanom

Biblia - Sväté písmo

(KJV - Anglický - King James)

2Sol 2, 1-17

1 (KJV) Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
1 (B21) A teď ohledně příchodu našeho Pána Ježíše Krista a našeho shromáždění k němu. Bratři, prosíme vás,

2 (KJV) That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 (KJV) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
3 (B21) Nenechte se od nikoho žádným způsobem oklamat. Než ten den přijde, musí nastat odvrácení od Boha. Musí se objevit ten bezbožník a zatracenec,

4 (KJV) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 (KJV) Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 (KJV) And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
6 (B21) Víte, co mu dosud brání - smí se totiž objevit až v daný čas.

7 (KJV) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 (KJV) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
8 (B21) Až se pak objeví ten bezbožník, Pán Ježíš ho zahubí dechem svých úst, zničí ho jasem svého příchodu.

9 (KJV) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
9 (B21) Za příchodem toho bezbožníka bude stát satanovo působení, všechna jeho lživá moc, divy a zázraky.

10 (KJV) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
10 (B21) Všemi těmi hanebnostmi bude klamat ty, kdo míří do záhuby, protože nechtěli milovat pravdu, která je mohla zachránit.

11 (KJV) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
11 (B21) Proto je Bůh vydá napospas bludu, aby uvěřili lži.

12 (KJV) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

13 (KJV) But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
13 (B21) Za vás, bratři milovaní Pánem, však musíme stále děkovat Bohu. Ten vás od počátku vyvolil, abyste skrze posvěcení Duchem a víru v pravdu byli spaseni.

14 (KJV) Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
14 (B21) Právě k tomu vás povolal naším evangeliem, abyste došli slávy našeho Pána Ježíše Krista.

15 (KJV) Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

16 (KJV) Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
16 (B21) Náš Pán Ježíš Kristus a Bůh, náš Otec, který si nás zamiloval a ze své milosti nám daroval věčné potěšení a nádhernou naději,

17 (KJV) Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
17 (B21) kéž potěší vaše srdce a posilní vás v každém dobrém skutku i slovu!

2Sol 2, 1-17

Verš 2
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Jer 29:8 - For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.
Mt 24:4 - And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Ef 5:6 - Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Kol 2:18 - Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
1Jn 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Verš 3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Mt 24:23 - Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
1Tim 4:1 - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Jn 2:18 - Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Verš 4
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Dan 11:36 - And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Verš 8
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Jób 4:9 - By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.
Iz 11:4 - But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Verš 9
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
Jn 8:41 - Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
2Kor 4:4 - In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Ef 2:2 - Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Dt 13:1 - If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
Zjv 13:13 - And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

Verš 10
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Kor 2:15 - For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
2Kor 4:3 - But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

Verš 11
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Rim 1:24 - Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
1Tim 4:1 - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Verš 15
Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2Sol 3:6 - Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Verš 17
Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
1Sol 3:13 - To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

2Sol 2,3 - Pánovmu dňu bude podľa apokalyptických predstáv predchádzať všeobecný odpad od viery (Lk 18, 8; 1 Tim 4, 1; 2 Tim 3, 1–5; 1 Jn 2, 18; 4,3; 2 Pt 3,3) a zjavenie "človeka neprávosti", čiže Antikrista (porov. 1 Jn 2, 18).

2Sol 2,4 - Porov. Dan 11,36.

2Sol 2,6-7 - Pre nás záhadné tvrdenia. Pavol tu poukazuje na nepretržitú a skrytú činnosť satana a zla vo svete. No jeho verejnému vystúpeniu prekáža pravdepodobne sám Boh ("ten, čo ho zadŕža") a jeho plán spásy ("čo ho zadŕža").

2Sol 2,8 - Porov. Iz 11, 4. Zničenie dychom úst je charakteristickým prvkom židovskej apokalyptiky.

2Sol 2,9 - Satan je otec lži. Porov. Jn 8, 44; 1 Jn 2, 18.

2Sol 2,10 - Porov. 1 Sol 4, 11.

1 Kor 16, 21; Gal 6, 11; Kol 4, 18).
