1 (UKJV) Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
1 (ROH) Pavel, Silván a Timoteus cirkvi Tesaloničanom v Bohu, našom Otcovi, a v Pánu Ježišu Kristovi:
1 (RIV) Paolo, Silvano e Timoteo, alla chiesa dei Tessalonicesi, che è in Dio nostro Padre e nel Signor Gesù Cristo,

2 (UKJV) Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 (ROH) milosť vám a pokoj od Boha, nášho Otca, a od Pána Ježiša Krista.
2 (RIV) grazia a voi e pace da Dio Padre e dal Signor Gesù Cristo.

3 (UKJV) "We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith grows exceedingly, and the love (o. agape) of every one of you all toward each other abounds; "
3 (ROH) Podlžni sme ďakovať vždycky Bohu za vás, bratia, ako je slušné, pretože veľmi rastie vaša viera, a množí sa láska jedného každého všetkých vás naproti jedendruhému,

4 (UKJV) So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that all of you endure:
4 (ROH) takže my sami sa chválime vami v cirkviach Božích ohľadne vašej trpezlivosti a viery vo všetkých vašich prenasledovaniach a súženiach, ktoré znášate,
4 (RIV) in guisa che noi stessi ci gloriamo di voi nelle chiese di Dio, a motivo della vostra costanza e fede in tutte le vostre persecuzioni e nelle afflizioni che voi sostenete.

5 (UKJV) Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that all of you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which all of you also suffer:
5 (ROH) čo je zjavným dôkazom spravedlivého súdu Božieho, aby ste boli učinení hodnými kráľovstva Božieho, za ktoré aj trpíte,
5 (RIV) Questa è una prova del giusto giudicio di Dio, affinché siate riconosciuti degni del regno di Dio, per il quale anche patite.

6 (UKJV) "Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; "

7 (UKJV) And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
7 (ROH) a vám súženým odpočinutím s nami, keď sa zjaví Pán Ježiš s neba s anjelmi svojej moci,
7 (RIV) e a voi che siete afflitti, requie con noi, quando il Signor Gesù apparirà dal cielo con gli angeli della sua potenza,

8 (UKJV) In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
8 (ROH) v plamennom ohni dávajúc pomstu tým, ktorí neznajú Boha, a tým, ktorí neposlúchajú evanjelia nášho Pána Ježiša Krista,
8 (RIV) in un fuoco fiammeggiante, per far vendetta di coloro che non conoscono Iddio, e di coloro che non ubbidiscono al Vangelo del nostro Signor Gesù.

9 (UKJV) "Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; "
9 (ROH) ktorí ponesú pomstu, večné zahynutie, preč od tvári Pánovej a od slávy jeho mocnosti,
9 (RIV) I quali saranno puniti di eterna distruzione, respinti dalla presenza del Signore e dalla gloria della sua potenza,

10 (UKJV) When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
10 (ROH) keď prijde, aby bol oslávený vo svojich svätých a obdivovaný vo všetkých, ktorí uverili (lebo sa uverilo nášmu svedoctvu u vás), v ten deň.
10 (RIV) quando verrà per essere in quel giorno glorificato nei suoi santi e ammirato in tutti quelli che hanno creduto, e in voi pure, poiché avete creduto alla nostra testimonianza dinanzi a voi.

11 (UKJV) Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
11 (ROH) Tým cieľom sa aj vždycky modlíme za vás, že by vás náš Bôh učinil hodnými toho povolania a naplnil každou záľubou na dobrotivosti a skutkom viery v moci,
11 (RIV) Ed è a quel fine che preghiamo anche del continuo per voi affinché l’Iddio nostro vi reputi degni di una tal vocazione e compia con potenza ogni vostro buon desiderio e l’opera della vostra fede,

12 (UKJV) That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and all of you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
12 (ROH) aby bolo oslávené meno našeho Pána Ježiša Krista vo vás a vy v ňom podľa milosti nášho Boha a Pána Ježiša Krista.
12 (RIV) onde il nome del nostro Signor Gesù sia glorificato in voi, e voi in lui, secondo la grazia dell’Iddio nostro e del Signor Gesù Cristo.

Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1Kor 1:3 - Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
1Sol 1:1 - Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1Pt 1:2 - Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, (o. pneuma) unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Verš 3
"We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith grows exceedingly, and the love (o. agape) of every one of you all toward each other abounds; "
Ef 1:15 - Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love (o. agape) unto all the saints,
Flp 1:3 - I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
Kol 1:3 - We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
1Sol 1:2 - "We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; "

Verš 4
So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that all of you endure:
1Sol 2:19 - For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even all of you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that all of you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which all of you also suffer:
Júd 1:6 - And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
1Sol 2:14 - For all of you, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for all of you also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

2Pt 3:7 - But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word (o. logos) are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Rim 2:8 - But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

"Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; "
Iz 2:19 - And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake terribly the earth.

Verš 10
When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
Sk 1:11 - Which also said, All of you men of Galilee, why stand all of you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as all of you have seen him go into heaven.
1Sol 1:10 - And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Zjv 1:7 - "Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all families of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. "

2Sol 1,5 - Prenasledovania sú znakom, že raz musí prísť súd spravodlivého Boha. Myšlienka je rozvedená v nasledujúcich veršoch.
