Verš 1
Furthermore then we plead to you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as all of you have received of us how all of you ought to walk and to please God, so all of you would abound more and more.
Flp 1:27 - "Only let your conversation be as it becomes the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that all of you stand fast in one spirit, (o. pneuma) with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; "

Verš 5
Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
1Kor 15:34 - "Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. "
Ef 4:18 - Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

He therefore that despises, despises not man, but God, who has also given unto us his holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

1Kor 7:40 - But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit (o. pneuma) of God.
Verš 9
But as concerning brotherly love all of you need not that I write unto you: for all of you yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
Lv 19:18 - You shall not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbour as yourself: I am the LORD.

Jn 4:21 - Jesus says unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when all of you shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Ef 4:28 - Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needs.
Verš 13
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that all of you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
Lv 19:28 - All of you shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
Dt 14:1 - All of you are the children of the LORD your God: all of you shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

Verš 16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Mt 24:31 - And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
1Kor 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
2Sol 1:7 - And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
1 Kor 15, 51).
