Flp 2, 1-30

1 (UKJV) If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, (o. agape) if any fellowship of the Spirit, (o. pneuma) if any bowels and mercies,
1 ----
1 (ROH) Ak je tedy nejaké potešenie v Kristovi, ak nejaké povzbudenie lásky, ak nejaké účastenstvo Ducha, ak nejaká srdečná sústrasť a zľutovanie, to robte

2 (UKJV) Fulfill all of you my joy, that all of you be likeminded, having the same love, (o. agape) being of one accord, of one mind.
2 ----
2 (ROH) a tak naplňte moju radosť, aby ste jedno a to isté mysleli, jednu a tú istú lásku mali a boli sťa jedna duša, aby ste jedno mysleli

3 (UKJV) "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. "
3 ----

4 (UKJV) Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
4 ----

5 (UKJV) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
5 ----

6 (UKJV) Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
6 ----

7 (UKJV) But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
7 ----

8 (UKJV) And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
8 ----

9 (UKJV) Wherefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
9 ----

10 (UKJV) "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; "
10 ----
10 (ROH) aby sa v mene Ježiša sklonilo každé koleno bytostí ponebeských a pozemských i podzemských,

11 (UKJV) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
11 ----

12 (UKJV) Wherefore, my beloved, as all of you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
12 ----
12 (ROH) A tak, moji milovaní, jako ste vždycky poslúchli, nie len ako v mojej prítomnosti, ale tým väčšmi teraz v mojej neprítomnosti, s bázňou a s trasením pracujte na svojom spasení;

13 (UKJV) For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
13 ----

14 (UKJV) Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
14 ----
14 (ROH) Všetko čiňte bez reptania a bez pochybovania,

15 (UKJV) "That all of you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom all of you shine as lights in the world; "
15 ----
15 (ROH) aby ste boli bezúhonní a rýdzi, deti Božie bezvadné prostred pokolenia krivého a prevráteného, medzi ktorými svieťte jako svetlá na svete

16 (UKJV) "Holding forth the word (o. logos) of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. "
16 ----

17 (UKJV) Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
17 ----

18 (UKJV) For the same cause also do all of you joy, and rejoice with me.
18 ----

19 (UKJV) But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
19 ----

20 (UKJV) For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.
20 ----

21 (UKJV) For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.
21 ----
21 (ROH) Lebo tí všetci hľadajú svoje a nie Krista Ježišovo.

22 (UKJV) But all of you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.
22 ----

23 (UKJV) Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.
23 ----

24 (UKJV) But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.
24 ----

25 (UKJV) Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellow soldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
25 ----
25 (ROH) Ale som uznal za potrebné poslať k vám brata Epafrodita, svojho spolupracovníka a spolubojovníka a vášho posla a svätoslužobníka čo do mojej potreby,

26 (UKJV) For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that all of you had heard that he had been sick.
26 ----

27 (UKJV) "For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. "
27 ----

28 (UKJV) I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when all of you see him again, all of you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
28 ----
28 (ROH) A tak som ho tým snažnejšie poslal, aby ste sa, keď ho uvidíte, zase radovali, a ja aby som mal menej zármutku.

29 (UKJV) "Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation: "
29 ----
29 (ROH) Prijmite ho tedy v Pánovi s celou radosťou a majte takých v úcte.

30 (UKJV) Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
30 ----

Flp 2,9 - "Dal mu meno", čiže najvyššiu hodnosť a moc. Pavol tu myslí na meno Pán (v. 11).

Flp 2,10-11 - Porov. Iz 34, 23.
