Kniha Deuteronómium

1 (HEM) ויקרא משה אל כל ישראל ויאמר אלהם שמע ישראל את החקים ואת המשפטים אשר אנכי דבר באזניכם היום ולמדתם אתם ושמרתם לעשתם׃
1 (UKJV) And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that all of you may learn them, and keep, and do them.

2 (HEM) יהוה אלהינו כרת עמנו ברית בחרב׃
2 (UKJV) The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

3 (HEM) לא את אבתינו כרת יהוה את הברית הזאת כי אתנו אנחנו אלה פה היום כלנו חיים׃
3 (UKJV) The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

4 (HEM) פנים בפנים דבר יהוה עמכם בהר מתוך האש׃
4 (UKJV) The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

5 (HEM) אנכי עמד בין יהוה וביניכם בעת ההוא להגיד לכם את דבר יהוה כי יראתם מפני האש ולא עליתם בהר לאמר׃
5 (UKJV) "(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the word of the LORD: for all of you were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, "

6 (HEM) אנכי יהוה אלהיך אשר הוצאתיך מארץ מצרים מבית עבדים׃
6 (UKJV) I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

7 (HEM) לא יהיה לך אלהים אחרים על פני׃
7 (UKJV) You shall have no other gods before me.

8 (HEM) לא תעשה לך פסל כל תמונה אשר בשמים ממעל ואשר בארץ מתחת ואשר במים מתחת לארץ׃
8 (UKJV) You shall not make you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

9 (HEM) לא תשתחוה להם ולא תעבדם כי אנכי יהוה אלהיך אל קנא פקד עון אבות על בנים ועל שלשים ועל רבעים לשנאי׃
9 (UKJV) You shall not bow down yourself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

10 (HEM) ועשה חסד לאלפים לאהבי ולשמרי מצותו׃
10 (UKJV) And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

11 (HEM) לא תשא את שם יהוה אלהיך לשוא כי לא ינקה יהוה את אשר ישא את שמו לשוא׃
11 (UKJV) You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.

12 (HEM) שמור את יום השבת לקדשו כאשר צוך יהוה אלהיך׃
12 (UKJV) Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD your God has commanded you.

13 (HEM) ששת ימים תעבד ועשית כל מלאכתך׃
13 (UKJV) Six days you shall labour, and do all your work:

14 (HEM) ויום השביעי שבת ליהוה אלהיך לא תעשה כל מלאכה אתה ובנך ובתך ועבדך ואמתך ושורך וחמרך וכל בהמתך וגרך אשר בשעריך למען ינוח עבדך ואמתך כמוך׃
14 (UKJV) "But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates; that your manservant and your maidservant may rest as well as you. "

15 (HEM) וזכרת כי עבד היית בארץ מצרים ויצאך יהוה אלהיך משם ביד חזקה ובזרע נטויה על כן צוך יהוה אלהיך לעשות את יום השבת׃
15 (UKJV) And remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD your God brought you out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD your God commanded you to keep the sabbath day.

16 (HEM) כבד את אביך ואת אמך כאשר צוך יהוה אלהיך למען יאריכן ימיך ולמען ייטב לך על האדמה אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך׃
16 (UKJV) "Honour your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you. "

17 (HEM) לא תרצח׃
17 (UKJV) You shall not kill.

18 (HEM) ולא תנאף׃
18 (UKJV) Neither shall you commit adultery.

19 (HEM) ולא תגנב׃
19 (UKJV) Neither shall you steal.

20 (HEM) ולא תענה ברעך עד שוא׃
20 (UKJV) Neither shall you bear false witness against your neighbour.

21 (HEM) ולא תחמד אשת רעך ולא תתאוה בית רעך שדהו ועבדו ואמתו שורו וחמרו וכל אשר לרעך׃
21 (UKJV) Neither shall you desire your neighbour's wife, neither shall you covet your neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is your neighbour's.

22 (HEM) את הדברים האלה דבר יהוה אל כל קהלכם בהר מתוך האש הענן והערפל קול גדול ולא יסף ויכתבם על שני לחת אבנים ויתנם אלי׃
22 (UKJV) These words the LORD spoke unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

23 (HEM) ויהי כשמעכם את הקול מתוך החשך וההר בער באש ותקרבון אלי כל ראשי שבטיכם וזקניכם׃
23 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, when all of you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that all of you came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; "

24 (HEM) ותאמרו הן הראנו יהוה אלהינו את כבדו ואת גדלו ואת קלו שמענו מתוך האש היום הזה ראינו כי ידבר אלהים את האדם וחי׃
24 (UKJV) And all of you said, Behold, the LORD our God has showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God does talk with man, and he lives.

25 (HEM) ועתה למה נמות כי תאכלנו האש הגדלה הזאת אם יספים אנחנו לשמע את קול יהוה אלהינו עוד ומתנו׃
25 (UKJV) Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.

26 (HEM) כי מי כל בשר אשר שמע קול אלהים חיים מדבר מתוך האש כמנו ויחי׃
26 (UKJV) For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

27 (HEM) קרב אתה ושמע את כל אשר יאמר יהוה אלהינו ואת תדבר אלינו את כל אשר ידבר יהוה אלהינו אליך ושמענו ועשינו׃
27 (UKJV) "Go you near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak you unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto you; and we will hear it, and do it. "

28 (HEM) וישמע יהוה את קול דבריכם בדברכם אלי ויאמר יהוה אלי שמעתי את קול דברי העם הזה אשר דברו אליך היטיבו כל אשר דברו׃
28 (UKJV) "And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when all of you spoke unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto you: they have well said all that they have spoken. "

29 (HEM) מי יתן והיה לבבם זה להם ליראה אתי ולשמר את כל מצותי כל הימים למען ייטב להם ולבניהם לעלם׃
29 (UKJV) O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

30 (HEM) לך אמר להם שובו לכם לאהליכם׃
30 (UKJV) Go say to them, Get you into your tents again.

31 (HEM) ואתה פה עמד עמדי ואדברה אליך את כל המצוה והחקים והמשפטים אשר תלמדם ועשו בארץ אשר אנכי נתן להם לרשתה׃
31 (UKJV) But as for you, stand you here by me, and I will speak unto you all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

32 (HEM) ושמרתם לעשות כאשר צוה יהוה אלהיכם אתכם לא תסרו ימין ושמאל׃
32 (UKJV) All of you shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God has commanded you: all of you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

33 (HEM) בכל הדרך אשר צוה יהוה אלהיכם אתכם תלכו למען תחיון וטוב לכם והארכתם ימים בארץ אשר תירשון׃
33 (UKJV) All of you shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, that all of you may live, and that it may be well with you, and that all of you may prolong your days in the land which all of you shall possess.
