Kniha Deuteronómium

1 (KJV) Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
1 (HEM) האזינו השמים ואדברה ותשמע הארץ אמרי פי׃
1 (KAT) „Nebesá, čujte, rozprávať budem, zem nech načúva slovám mojich úst!

2 (KJV) My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
2 (HEM) יערף כמטר לקחי תזל כטל אמרתי כשעירם עלי דשא וכרביבים עלי עשב׃
2 (KAT) Nech spŕcha ako dážď moje učenie, nech kvapká sťa rosa moja výrečnosť; ako dážď na zeleň, sťa kvapky na trávnik.

3 (KJV) Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.
3 (HEM) כי שם יהוה אקרא הבו גדל לאלהינו׃
3 (KAT) Lebo budem hlásať Pánovo meno: pripravte oslavu nášmu Pánovi!

4 (KJV) He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
4 (HEM) הצור תמים פעלו כי כל דרכיו משפט אל אמונה ואין עול צדיק וישר הוא׃
4 (KAT) Skalou je: dokonalé je jeho dielo, lebo všetky jeho cesty sú spravodlivé. Boh je verný a bez neprávosti, spravodlivý je a priamy.

5 (KJV) They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.
5 (HEM) שחת לו לא בניו מומם דור עקש ופתלתל׃
5 (KAT) Zle sa k nemu zachovali synovia nezdarní, pokolenie zlé a zaťaté.

6 (KJV) Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?
6 (HEM) ה ליהוה תגמלו זאת עם נבל ולא חכם הלוא הוא אביך קנך הוא עשך ויכננך׃
6 (KAT) Takto sa odplácate Pánovi, ľud zadubený a hlúpy?! A nie je on tvoj otec, ktorý ťa stvoril, nie on ťa stvárnil a pevne postavil?

7 (KJV) Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.
7 (HEM) זכר ימות עולם בינו שנות דור ודור שאל אביך ויגדך זקניך ויאמרו לך׃
7 (KAT) Spomni si na dni zašlé dávno, uvážte roky všetkých pokolení! Spýtaj sa svojho otca a on ti vyjaví, starcov svojich a rozpovedia ti:

8 (KJV) When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
8 (HEM) בהנחל עליון גוים בהפרידו בני אדם יצב גבלת עמים למספר בני ישראל׃
8 (KAT) kedy určoval Najvyšší kraje národom, kedy podelil Adamových synov, vymedzil národom hranice dľa počtu synov Izraelových.

9 (KJV) For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
9 (HEM) כי חלק יהוה עמו יעקב חבל נחלתו׃
9 (KAT) Pánovým podielom je totiž jeho ľud, Jakub je údelom jeho dedičstva.

10 (KJV) He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
10 (HEM) ימצאהו בארץ מדבר ובתהו ילל ישמן יסבבנהו יבוננהו יצרנהו כאישון עינו׃
10 (KAT) Našiel ho na pustej zemi, na mieste divokom, v revúcej pustine. Ujal sa ho a dával naň pozor, striehol ho ako zrenicu oka.

11 (KJV) As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
11 (HEM) כנשר יעיר קנו על גוזליו ירחף יפרש כנפיו יקחהו ישאהו על אברתו׃
11 (KAT) Jak orol zobúdza svoje hniezdo, krúži nad svojimi mláďatami, tak rozpäl svoje krídla, chytil ho, niesol ho na svojich perutiach.

12 (KJV) So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
12 (HEM) יהוה בדד ינחנו ואין עמו אל נכר׃
12 (KAT) Pán sám ho viedol, nijaký cudzí boh nebol mu na pomoc.

13 (KJV) He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
13 (HEM) ירכבהו על במותי ארץ ויאכל תנובת שדי וינקהו דבש מסלע ושמן מחלמיש צור׃
13 (KAT) Doviedol ho na výšiny zeme, sýtil ho poľnými plodmi, sať mu dal med zo skaly a olej z tvrdého kremeňa;

14 (KJV) Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.
14 (HEM) חמאת בקר וחלב צאן עם חלב כרים ואילים בני בשן ועתודים עם חלב כליות חטה ודם ענב תשתה חמר׃
14 (KAT) maslo kravské i mlieko od oviec s tukom jahňacím a baraním. Býky a capy z Bášanu s mastným jadrom pšenice, a krv viniča si pil, vína prevzácne.

15 (KJV) But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
15 (HEM) וישמן ישרון ויבעט שמנת עבית כשית ויטש אלוה עשהו וינבל צור ישעתו׃
15 (KAT) Jakub jedol a nasýtil sa, stučnel miláčik a spriečil sa, stučnel, vykŕmil, vypásol sa; zanechal Boha, svojho Tvorcu, pohrdol Skalou svojej spásy.

16 (KJV) They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.
16 (HEM) יקנאהו בזרים בתועבת יכעיסהו׃
16 (KAT) Dráždievali ho cudzími bohmi, rozhorčovali ho ohavnosťami.

17 (KJV) They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
17 (HEM) יזבחו לשדים לא אלה אלהים לא ידעום חדשים מקרב באו לא שערום אבתיכם׃
17 (KAT) Obetovali besom, čo nie sú bohmi, bohom, o ktorých nemali tušenia. Novým, čo prišli nedávno, ktorých si nectili vaši otcovia.

18 (KJV) Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
18 (HEM) צור ילדך תשי ותשכח אל מחללך׃
18 (KAT) Skalu si zanedbal, ktorá ťa zrodila, a zabudol si na Boha, svojho Tvorcu.

19 (KJV) And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.
19 (HEM) וירא יהוה וינאץ מכעס בניו ובנתיו׃
19 (KAT) Pán to videl a pohrdol nimi, rozhnevaný svojimi synmi a dcérami.

20 (KJV) And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.
20 (HEM) ויאמר אסתירה פני מהם אראה מה אחריתם כי דור תהפכת המה בנים לא אמן בם׃
20 (KAT) A povedal: »Svoju tvár ukryjem pred nimi, uvidím, ako skončia, veď sú zvrhlým pokolením, synovia, v ktorých viery niet.

21 (KJV) They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
21 (HEM) הם קנאוני בלא אל כעסוני בהבליהם ואני אקניאם בלא עם בגוי נבל אכעיסם׃
21 (KAT) Oni mňa dráždili tým, ktorý nie je boh, rozhorčovali ma svojimi klamnými modlami. Ja ich podráždim tým, ktorý nie je ľud - pochabým národom ich rozhorčím.

22 (KJV) For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
22 (HEM) כי אש קדחה באפי ותיקד עד שאול תחתית ותאכל ארץ ויבלה ותלהט מוסדי הרים׃
22 (KAT) Bo oheň zažal sa od môjho hnevu a páľou prenikne až na dno podsvetia a zhltne zem i jej plody a do tla vypáli základy hôr;

23 (KJV) I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.
23 (HEM) אספה עלימו רעות חצי אכלה בם׃
23 (KAT) a nakopím im nešťastí na nešťastia a vypustím na nich všetky svoje šípy.

24 (KJV) They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
24 (HEM) מזי רעב ולחמי רשף וקטב מרירי ושן בהמות אשלח בם עם חמת זחלי עפר׃
24 (KAT) Umoria sa hladom a spália horúčkou a nákazou odpornou. Aj zuby zverov poštvem na nich a plazy s jedom sa vlečúce po zemi.

25 (KJV) The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.
25 (HEM) מחוץ תשכל חרב ומחדרים אימה גם בחור גם בתולה יונק עם איש שיבה׃
25 (KAT) Vonku ich bude ničiť meč a hrôza v komorách: mladíka tak ako pannu, kojenca so starcom.

26 (KJV) I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:
26 (HEM) אמרתי אפאיהם אשביתה מאנוש זכרם׃
26 (KAT) Vyriekol by som: Vnivoč ich privediem, vyhladím pamiatku na nich u ľudu -

27 (KJV) Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this.
27 (HEM) לולי כעס אויב אגור פן ינכרו צרימו פן יאמרו ידינו רמה ולא יהוה פעל כל זאת׃
27 (KAT) keby som sa pýchy nepriateľa nebál, aby to ich protivníci nechápali zle, aby azda nevraveli: ‚Naša ruka sa vyvýšila, nič z toho neurobil Pán!'

28 (KJV) For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.
28 (HEM) כי גוי אבד עצות המה ואין בהם תבונה׃
28 (KAT) Lebo ten ľud je bezradný a vnímavosti v nich niet.

29 (KJV) O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
29 (HEM) לו חכמו ישכילו זאת יבינו לאחריתם׃
29 (KAT) Keby múdri boli, chápali by to, spoznali by, aký ich čaká koniec:

30 (KJV) How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
30 (HEM) איכה ירדף אחד אלף ושנים יניסו רבבה אם לא כי צורם מכרם ויהוה הסגירם׃
30 (KAT) Akože, jeden bude prenasledovať tisíce a dvaja zaženú desaťtisíc? Či nie zato, že ich vlastný Boh predal a Pán ich vydal?!«

31 (KJV) For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
31 (HEM) כי לא כצורנו צורם ואיבינו פלילים׃
31 (KAT) Veď ich boh nie je naroveň nášmu Bohu, aj naši nepriatelia sami sú svedkami!

32 (KJV) For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:
32 (HEM) כי מגפן סדם גפנם ומשדמת עמרה ענבמו ענבי רוש אשכלת מררת למו׃
32 (KAT) Naisto, z révy Sodomčanov je ich réva a z rolí gomorských; ich hrozno je hrozno otravné, strapce má zhorknuté.

33 (KJV) Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.
33 (HEM) חמת תנינם יינם וראש פתנים אכזר׃
33 (KAT) Dračí jed je ich víno a hadia žlč ukrutná.

34 (KJV) Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?
34 (HEM) הלא הוא כמס עמדי חתם באוצרתי׃
34 (KAT) »Vari sa to u mňa neopatruje, zapečatené v mojich pokladniciach?

35 (KJV) To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
35 (HEM) לי נקם ושלם לעת תמוט רגלם כי קרוב יום אידם וחש עתדת למו׃
35 (KAT) Moja bude pomsta a odveta v deň, keď sa im podlomia nohy. Veď ich deň záhubný sa približuje a ich krutý osud je nablízku.«

36 (KJV) For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
36 (HEM) כי ידין יהוה עמו ועל עבדיו יתנחם כי יראה כי אזלת יד ואפס עצור ועזוב׃
36 (KAT) Lebo Pán uchránil právo svojho ľudu a milosrdný bude k svojim sluhom. Keď uzrie ochabovať ruku a hynúť otrokov i slobodných,

37 (KJV) And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,
37 (HEM) ואמר אי אלהימו צור חסיו בו׃
37 (KAT) povie: »Kdeže sú ich bohovia, skala, ku ktorej sa utiekali?

38 (KJV) Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.
38 (HEM) אשר חלב זבחימו יאכלו ישתו יין נסיכם יקומו ויעזרכם יהי עליכם סתרה׃
38 (KAT) Tí, čo z ich obetí jedávali tuk, obetné víno píjavali od nich? Nože, nech vstanú a nech vám pomôžu, nech sú vám záštitou!

39 (KJV) See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
39 (HEM) ראו עתה כי אני אני הוא ואין אלהים עמדי אני אמית ואחיה מחצתי ואני ארפא ואין מידי מציל׃
39 (KAT) Pozrite: Ja som sám jediný a niet Boha okrem mňa; ja zabíjam, aj život navraciam, zraňujem, aj uzdravujem; a niet toho, kto by z mojej ruky vykĺzol!

40 (KJV) For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
40 (HEM) כי אשא אל שמים ידי ואמרתי חי אנכי לעלם׃
40 (KAT) Veru, pozdvihujem k nebu svoju ruku a poviem: Žiť budem naveky,

41 (KJV) If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
41 (HEM) אם שנותי ברק חרבי ותאחז במשפט ידי אשיב נקם לצרי ולמשנאי אשלם׃
41 (KAT) keď naostrím si blýskavý svoj meč a priberie sa moja ruka k súdu, vrátim pomstu svojim protivníkom a poodplácam tým, čo ma nenávidia.

42 (KJV) I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
42 (HEM) אשכיר חצי מדם וחרבי תאכל בשר מדם חלל ושביה מראש פרעות אויב׃
42 (KAT) Napojím krvou svoje šípy a môj meč hltať bude mäso - z krvi pobitých a zajatých, z hlavy nepriateľských vodcov!«

43 (KJV) Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
43 (HEM) הרנינו גוים עמו כי דם עבדיו יקום ונקם ישיב לצריו וכפר אדמתו עמו׃
43 (KAT) Plesajte, národy, nad jeho ľudom, lebo sa vypomstí za krv svojich sluhov, pomstou odplatí svojim protivníkom a očistí svoju zem i svoj ľud!“

44 (KJV) And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.
44 (HEM) ויבא משה וידבר את כל דברי השירה הזאת באזני העם הוא והושע בן נון׃
44 (KAT) Mojžiš prišiel a hlasno predniesol všetky slová tejto piesne ľudu - on a Nunov syn Jozue.

45 (KJV) And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:
45 (HEM) ויכל משה לדבר את כל הדברים האלה אל כל ישראל׃
45 (KAT) A keď Mojžiš dokončil všetky tieto slová, ktoré prednášal Izraelovi,

46 (KJV) And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
46 (HEM) ויאמר אלהם שימו לבבכם לכל הדברים אשר אנכי מעיד בכם היום אשר תצום את בניכם לשמר לעשות את כל דברי התורה הזאת׃
46 (KAT) povedal im: „Uložte si všetky tieto slová, ktoré vám dnes ohlasujem, do srdca a prikazujte ich zachovávať svojim synom, konať a plniť všetko, čo je predpísané v tomto zákone.

47 (KJV) For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
47 (HEM) כי לא דבר רק הוא מכם כי הוא חייכם ובדבר הזה תאריכו ימים על האדמה אשר אתם עברים את הירדן שמה לרשתה׃
47 (KAT) Lebo sa vám neukladajú nadarmo, ale aby ste skrze ne žili. Keď ich splníte, budete dlho nažive v krajine, do ktorej sa uberáte, aby ste ju vlastnili, keď prejdete cez Jordán.“

48 (KJV) And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,
48 (HEM) וידבר יהוה אל משה בעצם היום הזה לאמר׃
48 (KAT) A v ten istý deň hovoril Pán Mojžišovi:

49 (KJV) Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:
49 (HEM) עלה אל הר העברים הזה הר נבו אשר בארץ מואב אשר על פני ירחו וראה את ארץ כנען אשר אני נתן לבני ישראל לאחזה׃
49 (KAT) „Vystúp tam na pohorie Abarim, na vrch Nebo, ktorý je v kraji Moab oproti Jerichu, pozri si krajinu Kanaán, ktorú chcem dať Izraelu do vlastníctva, a tam na vrchu zomri!

50 (KJV) And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:
50 (HEM) ומת בהר אשר אתה עלה שמה והאסף אל עמיך כאשר מת אהרן אחיך בהר ההר ויאסף אל עמיו׃
50 (KAT) Keď naň vystúpiš, pripojíš sa k svojmu ľudu tak, ako umrel tvoj brat Áron na vrchu Hor a pripojil sa k svojmu ľudu,

51 (KJV) Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.
51 (HEM) על אשר מעלתם בי בתוך בני ישראל במי מריבת קדש מדבר צן על אשר לא קדשתם אותי בתוך בני ישראל׃
51 (KAT) lebo ste sa previnili proti mne uprostred Izraela pri vode Meríba-Kádeš na púšti Sin; pretože ste ma neohlasovali ako Svätého uprostred Izraela.

52 (KJV) Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.
52 (HEM) כי מנגד תראה את הארץ ושמה לא תבוא אל הארץ אשר אני נתן לבני ישראל׃
52 (KAT) Preto len zblízka uvidíš krajinu, ale do krajiny, ktorú dám synom Izraela, nevkročíš.“
