Dt 30, 1-20

1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where the LORD your God has driven you, 2 "And shall return unto the LORD your God, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all of your heart, and with all your soul; " 3 That then the LORD your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, where the LORD your God has scattered you. 4 If any of your be driven out unto the utmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD your God gather you, and from thence will he fetch you: 5 "And the LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and he will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers. " 6 And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love the LORD your God with all of your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live. 7 And the LORD your God will put all these curses upon your enemies, and on them that hate you, which persecuted you. 8 And you shall return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command you this day. 9 And the LORD your God will make you abundant in every work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over you for good, as he rejoiced over your fathers: 10 If you shall hearken unto the voice of the LORD your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if you turn unto the LORD your God with all of your heart, and with all your soul. 11 For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not hidden from you, neither is it far off. 12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 14 But the word is very nigh unto you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it. 15 "See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil; " 16 In that I command you this day to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that you may live and multiply: and the LORD your God shall bless you in the land where you go to possess it. 17 "But if your heart turn away, so that you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; " 18 I denounce unto you this day, that all of you shall surely perish, and that all of you shall not prolong your days upon the land, where you pass over Jordan to go to possess it. 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live: 20 That you may love the LORD your God, and that you may obey his voice, and that you may cleave unto him: for he is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

That then the LORD your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, where the LORD your God has scattered you.

Neh 1:8 - Remember, I plead to you, the word that you commandedst your servant Moses, saying, If all of you transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:

Ž 106:45 - And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

Jer 32:37 - "Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, where I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: "

Verš 4

If any of your be driven out unto the utmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD your God gather you, and from thence will he fetch you:

Neh 1:9 - "But if all of you turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there. "

Verš 6

And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love the LORD your God with all of your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.

Jer 32:39 - And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

Ez 11:19 - "And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: "

Ez 36:26 - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Verš 9

And the LORD your God will make you abundant in every work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over you for good, as he rejoiced over your fathers:

Dt 28:11 - And the LORD shall make you abundant in goods, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give you.

Verš 11

For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not hidden from you, neither is it far off.

Iz 45:19 - I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek all of you me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Verš 12

It is not in heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

Rim 10:6 - But the righteousness which is of faith speaks likewise, Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Verš 19

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live:

Dt 4:26 - "I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that all of you shall soon utterly perish from off the land unto which all of you go over Jordan to possess it; all of you shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. "

Dt 30,11-14 - Zákon ľahko možno zachovať, nie síce preto, že by jeho plnenie od ľudí nevyžadovalo ostražitosť a sebazápor, lež preto, že ho možno ľahko poznať a pochopiť. Izraelita sa nemusí trápiť otázkou, čo vlastne Boh od neho žiada. Vôľa Božia je mu zjavná, je v jeho ústach a v jeho srdci, čiže: Mojžiš dostatočne oznámil vôľu Pánovu a Izraeliti to mohli pochopiť (srdce = myseľ). Izraeliti majú teda jasnú normu pre svoj život a konanie, majú ju ustavične pri sebe a v sebe.

Dt 30,15-20 - V týchto veršoch máme jasne naznačenú slobodu vôle ľudskej a spolu aj zodpovednosť človeka za jeho skutky. K v. 19 pozri 15,4 a 4,26.
