1 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
1 (HEM) והיה כי יבאו עליך כל הדברים האלה הברכה והקללה אשר נתתי לפניך והשבת אל לבבך בכל הגוים אשר הדיחך יהוה אלהיך שמה׃
1 (KAT) Keď sa na tebe vyplnia všetky tieto slová, požehnanie alebo kliatba, ktoré som ti predložil, a pripustíš si ich k srdcu - medzi všetkými národmi, kam ťa zaženie Pán, tvoj Boh -,
2 (KJV) And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
2 (HEM) ושבת עד יהוה אלהיך ושמעת בקלו ככל אשר אנכי מצוך היום אתה ובניך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשך׃
2 (KAT) a keď sa zasa obrátiš k Pánovi, svojmu Bohu, a budeš mu poslušný z celého srdca a z celej svojej duše aj so svojimi synmi tak, ako ti to dnes prikazujem,
3 (KJV) That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
3 (HEM) ושב יהוה אלהיך את שבותך ורחמך ושב וקבצך מכל העמים אשר הפיצך יהוה אלהיך שמה׃
3 (KAT) Pán zmení tvoj údel, zľutuje sa nad tebou a zozbiera ťa spomedzi národov, kam ťa rozprášil.
4 (KJV) If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
4 (HEM) אם יהיה נדחך בקצה השמים משם יקבצך יהוה אלהיך ומשם יקחך׃
4 (KAT) A keby si bol zahnaný až na kraj nebies, aj odtiaľ ťa Pán, tvoj Boh, pritiahne späť a dovedie nazad;
5 (KJV) And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
5 (HEM) והביאך יהוה אלהיך אל הארץ אשר ירשו אבתיך וירשתה והיטבך והרבך מאבתיך׃
5 (KAT) Pán, tvoj Boh, ťa privedie do krajiny, ktorú prevzali tvoji otcovia do vlastníctva, a ty ju zasa zaujmeš a on ťa požehná a rozmnoží ťa viac ako tvojich otcov.
6 (KJV) And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
6 (HEM) ומל יהוה אלהיך את לבבך ואת לבב זרעך לאהבה את יהוה אלהיך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשך למען חייך׃
6 (KAT) Potom Pán obreže tebe a tvojmu potomstvu srdce, aby si miloval Pána, svojho Boha, z celého srdca a z celej svojej duše, aby si mohol žiť.
7 (KJV) And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
7 (HEM) ונתן יהוה אלהיך את כל האלות האלה על איביך ועל שנאיך אשר רדפוך׃
7 (KAT) A všetky tieto kliatby Pán zošle na tvojich nepriateľov a odporcov, ktorí ťa prenasledovali.
8 (KJV) And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
8 (HEM) ואתה תשוב ושמעת בקול יהוה ועשית את כל מצותיו אשר אנכי מצוך היום׃
8 (KAT) Ty sa však vrátiš a budeš počúvať hlas Pána, svojho Boha, a vyplníš všetky jeho príkazy, ktoré ti ja dnes ukladám.
9 (KJV) And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
9 (HEM) והותירך יהוה אלהיך בכל מעשה ידך בפרי בטנך ובפרי בהמתך ובפרי אדמתך לטובה כי ישוב יהוה לשוש עליך לטוב כאשר שש על אבתיך׃
9 (KAT) A Pán, tvoj Boh, ti dá oplývať pri každom podujatí tvojich rúk potomstvom tvojho života, prírastkom tvojho dobytka, úrodou tvojej zeme a nadbytkom všetkých vecí, lebo Pán bude mať zasa radosť z teba v (tvojom) šťastí tak, ako sa radoval z tvojich otcov:
10 (KJV) If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
10 (HEM) כי תשמע בקול יהוה אלהיך לשמר מצותיו וחקתיו הכתובה בספר התורה הזה כי תשוב אל יהוה אלהיך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשך׃
10 (KAT) ak budeš počúvať hlas Pána, svojho Boha, a zachováš jeho príkazy a nariadenia, ktoré sú napísané v tomto zákone, ak sa vrátiš opäť k Pánovi, svojmu Bohu, z celého srdca a celej svojej duše.
11 (KJV) For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
11 (HEM) כי המצוה הזאת אשר אנכי מצוך היום לא נפלאת הוא ממך ולא רחקה הוא׃
11 (KAT) Veď tento príkaz, ktorý ti dnes dávam, nie je pre teba vysoký ani ďaleký;
12 (KJV) It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
12 (HEM) לא בשמים הוא לאמר מי יעלה לנו השמימה ויקחה לנו וישמענו אתה ונעשנה׃
12 (KAT) nie je v nebesách, aby si mohol vravieť: »Ktože vystúpi za nás do neba a kto nám ho znesie a dá nám ho počuť, aby sme ho plnili?«
13 (KJV) Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 (HEM) ולא מעבר לים הוא לאמר מי יעבר לנו אל עבר הים ויקחה לנו וישמענו אתה ונעשנה׃
13 (KAT) Ani za morom nie je, aby si sa nevyhováral a nepovedal: »Ktože prejde za nás cez more a kto nám ho prinesie, aby sme ho mohli počuť a zachovať?!«
14 (KJV) But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
14 (HEM) כי קרוב אליך הדבר מאד בפיך ובלבבך לעשתו׃
14 (KAT) Naopak, veľmi blízko sú tie slová; (sú) v tvojich ústach, v tvojom srdci, aby si ich uskutočnil.
15 (KJV) See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
15 (HEM) ראה נתתי לפניך היום את החיים ואת הטוב ואת המות ואת הרע׃
15 (KAT) Hľa, dnes som predložil pred teba život i šťastie a smrť i nešťastie
16 (KJV) In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
16 (HEM) אשר אנכי מצוך היום לאהבה את יהוה אלהיך ללכת בדרכיו ולשמר מצותיו וחקתיו ומשפטיו וחיית ורבית וברכך יהוה אלהיך בארץ אשר אתה בא שמה לרשתה׃
16 (KAT) a prikazujem ti, aby si miloval Pána, svojho Boha, kráčal po jeho cestách a zachovával jeho príkazy, ustanovenia a nariadenia. Potom budeš žiť a rozmnožíš sa - a Pán, tvoj Boh, ťa bude žehnať v krajine, do ktorej sa uberáš, aby si ju prevzal do vlastníctva.
17 (KJV) But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
17 (HEM) ואם יפנה לבבך ולא תשמע ונדחת והשתחוית לאלהים אחרים ועבדתם׃
17 (KAT) Ale ak sa tvoje srdce odvráti, ak nebudeš poslúchať a dáš sa zviesť a budeš sa klaňať iným bohom a uctievať ich,
18 (KJV) I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
18 (HEM) הגדתי לכם היום כי אבד תאבדון לא תאריכן ימים על האדמה אשר אתה עבר את הירדן לבא שמה לרשתה׃
18 (KAT) tak ti dnes oznamujem, že naisto zahynieš a nepobudneš dlho v krajine, do ktorej po prechode cez Jordán vojdeš, aby si ju zaujal.
19 (KJV) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
19 (HEM) העידתי בכם היום את השמים ואת הארץ החיים והמות נתתי לפניך הברכה והקללה ובחרת בחיים למען תחיה אתה וזרעך׃
19 (KAT) Za svedkov proti vám volám nebo i zem: Predložil som vám život i smrť, požehnanie i kliatbu! Vyvoľ si život, aby si zostal nažive ty aj tvoje potomstvo,
20 (KJV) That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
20 (HEM) לאהבה את יהוה אלהיך לשמע בקלו ולדבקה בו כי הוא חייך וארך ימיך לשבת על האדמה אשר נשבע יהוה לאבתיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב לתת להם׃
20 (KAT) keď budeš milovať Pána, svojho Boha, a poslušne a verne sa vinúť k nemu; lebo pre teba to znamená život a dlhodobé prebývanie v krajine, o ktorej prisahal Pán, tvoj Boh, Abrahámovi, Izákovi a Jakubovi, že im ju dá.“

Verš 3
That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
Neh 1:8 - Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:
Ž 106:45 - And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
Jer 32:37 - Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:
Verš 4
If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
Neh 1:9 - But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.
Verš 6
And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
Jer 32:39 - And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
Ez 11:19 - And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
Ez 36:26 - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Verš 9
And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
Dt 28:11 - And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
Verš 11
For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
Iz 45:19 - I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Verš 12
It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Rim 10:6 - But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
Verš 19
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Dt 4:26 - I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
Dt 30,11-14 - Zákon ľahko možno zachovať, nie síce preto, že by jeho plnenie od ľudí nevyžadovalo ostražitosť a sebazápor, lež preto, že ho možno ľahko poznať a pochopiť. Izraelita sa nemusí trápiť otázkou, čo vlastne Boh od neho žiada. Vôľa Božia je mu zjavná, je v jeho ústach a v jeho srdci, čiže: Mojžiš dostatočne oznámil vôľu Pánovu a Izraeliti to mohli pochopiť (srdce = myseľ). Izraeliti majú teda jasnú normu pre svoj život a konanie, majú ju ustavične pri sebe a v sebe.
Dt 30,15-20 - V týchto veršoch máme jasne naznačenú slobodu vôle ľudskej a spolu aj zodpovednosť človeka za jeho skutky. K v. 19 pozri 15,4 a 4,26.
