Kniha Deuteronómium

1 (KJV) These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.
1 (HEM) אלה דברי הברית אשר צוה יהוה את משה לכרת את בני ישראל בארץ מואב מלבד הברית אשר כרת אתם בחרב׃
1 (KAT) Toto sú slová zmluvy, ktorú nariadil Pán Mojžišovi uzavrieť so synmi Izraela v moabskej krajine, okrem tej zmluvy, ktorú s nimi urobil na Horebe.

2 (KJV) And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land;
2 (HEM) ויקרא משה אל כל ישראל ויאמר אלהם אתם ראיתם את כל אשר עשה יהוה לעיניכם בארץ מצרים לפרעה ולכל עבדיו ולכל ארצו׃
2 (KAT) Mojžiš zvolal všetok Izrael a vravel im: „Videli ste všetko, čo urobil Pán faraónovi, všetkým jeho služobníkom a celej jeho krajine pred vašimi očami v Egypte;

3 (KJV) The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles:
3 (HEM) המסות הגדלת אשר ראו עיניך האתת והמפתים הגדלים ההם׃
3 (KAT) veľké prejavy moci, ktoré si videl na vlastné oči, a tie znamenia, a veľké zázraky.

4 (KJV) Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
4 (HEM) ולא נתן יהוה לכם לב לדעת ועינים לראות ואזנים לשמע עד היום הזה׃
4 (KAT) A predsa vám Pán nedal do dnešného dňa srdce, ktoré by chápalo, oči, ktoré by videli, a uši, ktoré by počuli!

5 (KJV) And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
5 (HEM) ואולך אתכם ארבעים שנה במדבר לא בלו שלמתיכם מעליכם ונעלך לא בלתה מעל רגלך׃
5 (KAT) On vás viedol štyridsať rokov po púšti, váš odev sa na vás neošúchal, ani vaša obuv sa nerozpadla starobou.

6 (KJV) Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God.
6 (HEM) לחם לא אכלתם ויין ושכר לא שתיתם למען תדעו כי אני יהוה אלהיכם׃
6 (KAT) Nejedli ste chlieb, ani ste nepili víno a opojné nápoje, aby ste zvedeli, že ja som Pán, váš Boh.

7 (KJV) And when ye came unto this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them:
7 (HEM) ותבאו אל המקום הזה ויצא סיחן מלך חשבון ועוג מלך הבשן לקראתנו למלחמה ונכם׃
7 (KAT) A keď ste došli na toto miesto, tu vytiahli proti vám do boja hesebonský kráľ Sehon a bášanský kráľ Og, ale pobili sme ich

8 (KJV) And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh.
8 (HEM) ונקח את ארצם ונתנה לנחלה לראובני ולגדי ולחצי שבט המנשי׃
8 (KAT) a zaujali sme ich krajinu, a dali sme ju do vlastníctva Rubenovi, Gadovi a polovici Manassesovho kmeňa.

9 (KJV) Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
9 (HEM) ושמרתם את דברי הברית הזאת ועשיתם אתם למען תשכילו את כל אשר תעשון׃
9 (KAT) Nuž zachovávajte slová tejto zmluvy a plňte ich, aby ste mali úspech vo všetkom, čo podniknete!

10 (KJV) Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
10 (HEM) אתם נצבים היום כלכם לפני יהוה אלהיכם ראשיכם שבטיכם זקניכם ושטריכם כל איש ישראל׃
10 (KAT) Vy všetci stojíte dnes tu pred Pánom, svojím Bohom: náčelníci vašich kmeňov, vaši starší, vaši pisári i všetci izraelskí mužovia;

11 (KJV) Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:
11 (HEM) טפכם נשיכם וגרך אשר בקרב מחניך מחטב עציך עד שאב מימיך׃
11 (KAT) vaši synovia a vaše ženy, i cudzinec, čo je s tebou v tvojom tábore - od drevorubača až po nosiča vody,

12 (KJV) That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day:
12 (HEM) לעברך בברית יהוה אלהיך ובאלתו אשר יהוה אלהיך כרת עמך היום׃
12 (KAT) aby si prešiel (každý jeden) k zmluve a prísahe Pána, svojho Boha, ktorú dnes uzaviera s tebou Pán, tvoj Boh,

13 (KJV) That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
13 (HEM) למען הקים אתך היום לו לעם והוא יהיה לך לאלהים כאשר דבר לך וכאשר נשבע לאבתיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב׃
13 (KAT) aby si ťa zvolil za svoj ľud a aby sa on stal tvojím Bohom, ako sľúbil a odprisahal tvojim otcom Abrahámovi, Izákovi a Jakubovi.

14 (KJV) Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
14 (HEM) ולא אתכם לבדכם אנכי כרת את הברית הזאת ואת האלה הזאת׃
14 (KAT) Ale túto zmluvu a prísahu neuzavieram len s vami,

15 (KJV) But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:
15 (HEM) כי את אשר ישנו פה עמנו עמד היום לפני יהוה אלהינו ואת אשר איננו פה עמנו היום׃
15 (KAT) lež aj s tými, ktorí dnes nestoja s nami pred Pánom, naším Bohom, a tiež s tými, ktorí dnes nie sú s nami.

16 (KJV) (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
16 (HEM) כי אתם ידעתם את אשר ישבנו בארץ מצרים ואת אשר עברנו בקרב הגוים אשר עברתם׃
16 (KAT) Vy viete, ako sme bývali v Egypte, ako sme prechádzali pomedzi národy, cez ktoré sme prešli,

17 (KJV) And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)
17 (HEM) ותראו את שקוציהם ואת גלליהם עץ ואבן כסף וזהב אשר עמהם׃
17 (KAT) a videli ste ich ohavné a hnusné modly - drevo a kameň, striebro a zlato, ktoré mali ony.

18 (KJV) Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
18 (HEM) פן יש בכם איש או אשה או משפחה או שבט אשר לבבו פנה היום מעם יהוה אלהינו ללכת לעבד את אלהי הגוים ההם פן יש בכם שרש פרה ראש ולענה׃
18 (KAT) Nech niet medzi vami muža ani ženy, rodiny ani kmeňa, ktorý by dnes odvrátil svoje srdce od Pána, nášho Boha, a šiel by slúžiť bohom tých národov; nech niet medzi vami koreňa, z ktorého vyrastá otrava a jed.

19 (KJV) And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
19 (HEM) והיה בשמעו את דברי האלה הזאת והתברך בלבבו לאמר שלום יהיה לי כי בשררות לבי אלך למען ספות הרוה את הצמאה׃
19 (KAT) A ak bude taký, čo počuje slová tejto kliatby, a pritom všetkom sa bude utešovať v srdci: »Ja budem mať pokoj, aj keď budem chodiť v zatvrdlivosti srdca, preto nech zhynie mokré so suchým!«

20 (KJV) The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.
20 (HEM) לא יאבה יהוה סלח לו כי אז יעשן אף יהוה וקנאתו באיש ההוא ורבצה בו כל האלה הכתובה בספר הזה ומחה יהוה את שמו מתחת השמים׃
20 (KAT) Takému Pán neodpustí, lebo vtedy veľmi zahorí Pánovo rozhorčenie a hnev proti tomu človekovi; doľahnú naň všetky kliatby, ktoré sú napísané v tejto knihe, Pán vytrie jeho meno spopod neba

21 (KJV) And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:
21 (HEM) והבדילו יהוה לרעה מכל שבטי ישראל ככל אלות הברית הכתובה בספר התורה הזה׃
21 (KAT) a kliatbou skazy ho odlúči od všetkých kmeňov Izraela podľa kliatieb, ktoré obsahuje táto kniha zákona a zmluvy.

22 (KJV) So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;
22 (HEM) ואמר הדור האחרון בניכם אשר יקומו מאחריכם והנכרי אשר יבא מארץ רחוקה וראו את מכות הארץ ההוא ואת תחלאיה אשר חלה יהוה בה׃
22 (KAT) Vtedy povie budúce pokolenie, synovia, ktorí sa potom narodia, aj cudzinci, čo prídu zďaleka, keď uvidia navštívenie a biedu tejto krajiny, ktorými ju Pán bude sužovať

23 (KJV) And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
23 (HEM) גפרית ומלח שרפה כל ארצה לא תזרע ולא תצמח ולא יעלה בה כל עשב כמהפכת סדם ועמרה אדמה וצביים אשר הפך יהוה באפו ובחמתו׃
23 (KAT) - spáli ju sírou a žeravou soľou tak, že ju už nebudú osievať, ani nič zeleného nebude rodiť, obdobne ako zničený kraj Sodomy, Gomory, Adamy a Seboim, ktorý Pán zničil vo svojom rozhorčení -,

24 (KJV) Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?
24 (HEM) ואמרו כל הגוים על מה עשה יהוה ככה לארץ הזאת מה חרי האף הגדול הזה׃
24 (KAT) aj všetky národy povedia: »Prečo to Pán urobil tejto krajine?! Prečo toľké jeho rozhorčenie a hnev?!«

25 (KJV) Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
25 (HEM) ואמרו על אשר עזבו את ברית יהוה אלהי אבתם אשר כרת עמם בהוציאו אתם מארץ מצרים׃
25 (KAT) A odpovedia im: »Pretože opustili zmluvu Pána, svojho Boha, ktorú uzavrel s nimi, keď ich vyviedol z Egypta,

26 (KJV) For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
26 (HEM) וילכו ויעבדו אלהים אחרים וישתחוו להם אלהים אשר לא ידעום ולא חלק להם׃
26 (KAT) a slúžili iným bohom, klaňali sa tým, ktorých nepoznali, ktorým ich on nezveril.

27 (KJV) And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
27 (HEM) ויחר אף יהוה בארץ ההוא להביא עליה את כל הקללה הכתובה בספר הזה׃
27 (KAT) Preto vzbĺkol Pánov hnev nad touto krajinou a priviedol na ňu všetky kliatby, napísané v tejto knihe,

28 (KJV) And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.
28 (HEM) ויתשם יהוה מעל אדמתם באף ובחמה ובקצף גדול וישלכם אל ארץ אחרת כיום הזה׃
28 (KAT) a preto ich Pán vyrval vo svojom hneve, rozhorčení a nevôli z ich krajiny a vyhnal ich do cudzej krajiny, ako je to dnes.«

29 (KJV) The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
29 (HEM) הנסתרת ליהוה אלהינו והנגלת לנו ולבנינו עד עולם לעשות את כל דברי התורה הזאת׃
29 (KAT) Čo je tajné, to patrí Pánovi, nášmu Bohu; čo je zjavné, to je pre nás a našich synov až naveky: aby sme plnili tento zákon až do ostatného slova.
